As Nickkaus promised, he kept the call going. Arissa watched all he did as he walked out of his deep bath. With a towel on his waist, he walked into his walk-in closet and began to pick out an outfit.

Arissa was surprised by the size of his walk-in closet. It was twice the size of a standard store section in a mall. His whole outfit was placed in rows by their colors and the same goes for his shoe collections, watch collections, and the rest of the things his body uses. His closet alone was enough to open a standard multi-million shop.

His clothes weren’t too luxurious from afar but you would sense the luxurious price when he comes close and the price of it might cause you to roll your eyes at the waste of money. She had thought her closet was too luxurious until she saw his.

Seeing him pick out a thorough black outfit to put on, she raised her brows at him with a slight frown on her face.

Nicklaus happened to turn to her after selecting a watch and a chain necklace to put on when he saw her expression.

He chuckled softly, "What am I doing wrong this time?" he questioned, knowing it would have to be with him.

She had been staring at him without diverting her attention and he loved it but previously, she was with a smile and he wanted that smile alone to remain on her face.

"Why don’t you put on a white shirt?" she asked in a meek voice.

Nicklaus folded his lips in disagreement. "Because I didn’t want to. White shirts on me should only be seen by you at home," he replied.

He doesn’t need to hear it from someone else how sexy and hot he looks in a white shirt and that was one of his reasons to stay away from that color. White and gold are his favorite but he has to stay away from white outfits because they make him more radiant and draw attention he avoids to himself.

Arissa’s eyes widened in shock and she laughed to cover up her shocked self, "Stop saying things like this," she scolded with a giggle at the end. She felt on top of the world when he said that and her patience to get home early so she could listen to what he would have to say about her turned thin.

Nicklaus smiled and put his watch on, "Why? I was only being honest. I’m no fool and I know how I look in a white shirt and also, I know why you want to see me in one but your eyes can have all of that alone when you get home," he assured her.

Arissa bit her lower lips, lost for words to say and when she finally found her voice, it was that of a proud wife, "I’m glad you know how you look in that color," she licked her lower lips and gave Nicklaus an all-round look as he put on his shirt, "But honestly, you look irresistible and yummy in whichever color you put on," she told him.

Nicklaus laughed heartily and dropped both hands to his side, "Look who’s finally confessing. But why yummy?" he questioned her and arranged his shirt. He wanted more words from her.

His ego was already over the roof.

Arissa blushed with a soft giggle. She understood what Nicklaus was trying to do, he was trying to feed his ego with her words.

She knew men have egos but she had never seen one as confident as Nicklaus’s.

Well, anyway he has all right to be confident.

When Nicklaus did not hear a word from her as to why she called him yummy, he paused what he was doing and started into her eyes with both of his hands placed on his vanity table.

He felt she was trying to run from the question, so he said, "Do not hold back, I’ve told you this before. Say your words even if they would come out as naughty. I won’t judge you for that, I am your husband," his voice came out soft with a little drop of cheesiness added to it.

Arissa blushed harder and Nicklaus enjoyed the sight of it. He wanted more of her blushing expression and he promised to make her blush without control tonight.

Arissa clicked her tongue playfully and looked away from him. She can’t look into his eyes to let the words she wants to say out. If she should let him know, then it should be without looking into his flaming eyes that could burn her anytime soon.

Gulping softly, she began, "Yummy because_"

"Eyes on me, Love," Nicklaus cut her off.

"Oh no!!" Arissa murmured playfully like a kid and laughed.

"Oh yes!" Nicklaus teased her, in love with the sound of her laugh.

Arissa laughed brightly, "Don’t do this to me," she pleaded. She honestly can’t look into his eyes to say those words.

Nicklaus wriggled a mischievous brow at her, "What am I doing to you? Have you already spilled from down there?"

Arissa zipped her lips. Looking away from the camera, she laughed a nonaudible laugh. His shamelessness was becoming too much for her to endure.

Nicklaus continued, "You know I never imagined you would be this way,"

Arissa’s eyes sparkled with a burst of warmth flowing around her heart, "Me too. I never imagined I’d one day be happy with you," she confessed.

Nicklaus took his hands off the vanity table and one could see the surprise that etched his face at her confession.

Arissa went on, "My happiness came from where I least expected it and it was all thanks to you, Nicklaus," she shrugged her shoulders to lessen the effect her words had on her, "I have no regrets about being your wife_"

She paused and stared into his eyes. She gave him a light smile when she saw him staring deep into her eyes with all concentrations.

"Why did you stop?" Nicklaus asked with longing. His adam apple bulged up and down impatiently.

He wanted to hear all of it, all that she felt about him. She was going there but suddenly stopped and it made him feel as if someone heartlessly crushed his heart.

Arissa blinked at him, unintentionally, she drew in a soft breath from her lips and threw her head backward.

He was beginning to get into her head and perhaps he knew it. "Let’s not discuss that over the phone. I want our bodies to collide naked under the sheets while I spend the whole night telling you how I feel," she told him.

Taken aback by her bold words, Nicklaus gave her a surprise look and sealed her promise himself, "And I believe you’d also let me know how yummy I am,"

Once again, Arissa laughed and nodded softly, "I will,"
