I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 558: Covenant of Truth’s Gift
In the Neon Planet
After leaving his personal battleship, Void Pulse, and Atom to Philo, Nash returned to his room.
Just a little more, and he could finish optimizing the [Control Module System].
But before starting, Nash turned to the storage ring Philo had given him.
Curious about the equipment and treasures inside, he looked inside with anticipation.
"This storage ring is also a tier 8 treasure?"
Opening it, Nash quickly noticed its interior. From a space that seemed to have no end, to separate dimensions divided for different purposes, it was unlike anything he had expected.
What amazed him most were the Elemental and Law mines embedded inside.
He had thought he’d only receive a fixed quantity of resources. He never expected them to be recoverable mines.
Elemental recoverable mines could still be bought with money, but Law recoverable mines were a strategic resource that even the Solaris Domain didn’t possess.
Although the output was only enough for one person to consume, it would never run out.
Even after he advanced, it would still be a golden goose.
"This must have been prepared so I’d never run short on funds for future research," Nash deduced.
Most scientists were poor, not because they lacked money, but because it was all funneled back into their work.
With a gold-laying source of both elemental and Law resources, Nash would never go broke, as long as he was careful.
Calculating the yearly profit they could produce, he estimated it could reach trillions of chronos.
A few years of production were already the entire Solaris Domain’s annual revenue. No wonder it was a strategic resource.
Beside the mines, in a separate spatial dimension, sat a complete set of scientific equipment.
He noticed he could control everything with just his thoughts, even while it remained inside the ring’s storage.
That meant he could either take it out and work in open space, or run experiments directly inside the ring.
"This is quite convenient."
Although it was more ideal to conduct experiments in the outside world, he rarely had the time.
With this storage ring, he could at least handle most of his research without worrying about pauses, interruptions, or being caught mid-experiment.
"The Covenant of Truth is really considerate."
Before he had even thought to ask, they had already prepared everything.
With a complete set of scientific equipment on hand, the various specimens Axis had deduced should be useful soon enough.
About ten days ago, the tier 10 bloodlines and various specimens had already been analyzed.
Unfortunately, Nash hadn’t had a single moment to even skim through the results.
Now with equipment this convenient, he could begin studying them the next time he had a free moment.
Moving on, his attention shifted to the neatly arranged set of tier 8 treasures waiting inside the ring.
From a set of armor, a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, auxiliary accessories, and even a mobile transportation treasure, it was a complete set.
Nash lifted them out and donned each piece.
"This—"
As the armor locked together, tremendous power surged into his body.
Not only were his void, soul, and elemental abilities amplified, but fragments of Law began coursing across the surface of his skin.
"A true set armor!"
Just by wearing it, his strength had increased at least tenfold.
He also had a feeling that if he urged the innate power sealed within the set, his strength could multiply a hundredfold.
Unfortunately, it didn’t compound with the shelter buff; it was additive.
Combined with Tsuka’s 100x void, soul, and elemental amplification, it came to 110x overall.
"More than enough." Nash smiled.
While these buffs were additive, the [Overlimit Module System] was compounding. He just didn’t know yet whether his body could still handle it.
After all, turning on even the 100x amplification had already pushed him to his limits.
"No matter. I’ll test it later."
If he didn’t know, then he would find out. Even if it failed, any additional burst of strength would still be useful.
More importantly, the set armor wasn’t primarily about offense; it was built to protect him.
Most of the stored energy within it seemed to be held in reserve, only activating when he received a fatal blow.
Furthermore, through the excess Law fragments seeping from the armor’s surface, Nash found he could manipulate them like extensions of his own hands.
Being able to wield the power of Law, combined with his celestial beast and runic mastery, would make it easier for him to defeat a tier 6 War Emperor.
Turning his attention to the weapons, interest flickered in his eyes.
One was an upgrade of his previous myriad weapons. The other looked like a ring of blades that floated behind his back like a halo.
Then, putting on the accessories, a pair of earrings, contacts, a necklace, and two rings, Nash’s set was complete.
Glancing at himself in the mirror, wearing a full suit of armor, a spear in his right hand, a floating halo of blades drifting at his back, and accessories that added just a touch of flair, he felt like a God of War. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"I wonder just how strong I am now?"
Even as only a Void Venerate, he felt like he could challenge a War God. Of course, that was probably just the rush of the power boost talking.
Even with a complete set of tier 8 treasures, he still couldn’t challenge a tier 7 War Saint, let alone a tier 8 War God.
These were just external tools. True strength still had to be built through his own hard work.
Fortunately, looking at the stockpile of elemental, Law, and potion resources in the ring, Nash knew the only thing standing between him and advancement was time.
"Time to get back to work."
Stripping off all the armor, weapons, and accessories, Nash returned to optimizing the [Combat Module System].
Although wearing the set was safer, it was uncomfortable and would slow his fine control.
For now, in a safe environment, he decided to keep it stored away.
