I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 61: Meeting Camilla
Chapter 61: Meeting Camilla
Taking out his intercom, Nash saw an unknown number trying to call him.
"Who is this?"
Besides his squadmates, no one knew the ID number of his new intercom.
Curious, Nash chose to answer.
Answering the call, a familiar face appeared on the screen.
"Camilla? It’s you..."
"Hmph! So, you remember me! I thought you had already forgotten!"
She had reminded him that once the void signal on Earth became available, he was supposed to call her immediately.
And yet?
Her hair was already withered and white, yet this man seemed to have completely forgotten her.
If not for her former subordinate, Amber, reminding her, Camilla might not have even known the void signal was finally accessible on Earth.
"How could I forget you, Captain? I’ve just been a little busy..." Nash scratched his head, quickly apologizing.
With his mind preoccupied with the virtual world and the dark plane, he had indeed forgotten Camilla.
"No more excuses! I’ll send you a virtual address. If I don’t see you there in ten minutes, you’re dead to me!"
Giving an ultimatum, Camilla abruptly hung up.
"Tsk, Captain is still as demanding as ever." Nash smiled, realizing she hadn’t changed one bit.
Excited to see her in the virtual world, he memorized the virtual address and dived into the virtual dark pod.

Camilla’s Private Virtual Space
Materializing in a new virtual space, Nash scanned his surroundings, seeing an area neatly arranged with training equipment, ornaments, and furniture.
"Nash, you’re here." Camilla smiled as she saw him arrive.
"Nash, reporting to Captain Camilla!" He saluted.
"Come here..."
As he approached, Camilla started pinching and inspecting every inch of his body, checking for changes.
"You’ve gotten a little taller. Your muscles are more defined. And this appearance... Tsk, it seemed you’ve advanced to an official void warrior!"
"Captain’s progress is also impressive..." Nash muttered, feeling the intense pressure radiating from her.
Just from that alone, he estimated that Camilla had reached 50-60% saturation rate.
Such progress only made Nash admire the vast training resources of the Nova Military Academy.
"No need to flatter me." Camilla shook her head, pulling Nash toward the training area in her private space.
"What are you doing, Captain?" Nash asked, feeling a bad premonition.
"Captain this, Captain that! I’m no longer part of the squad, so call me Camilla!"
"This—Camilla..."
Not used to the name, Nash nearly stuttered.
"Good. Now, to test your strength, let’s have another spar!" Camilla said excitedly.
Eager to challenge her ultimate rival once again, she clenched her fists.
"This isn’t a good idea. Our strength difference is too vast," Nash hesitated.
"Hehe, isn’t this a virtual world? Don’t worry, you won’t die."
Not giving him another chance to refuse, Camilla charged forward, swinging her fist.
Hearing the [Combat Module System] issue a warning, Nash immediately turned serious.
Dodging the attack, he barely had time to react before Camilla followed up with a swift kick.
"So fast!"
Bending his body at an unnatural angle, Nash narrowly avoided it.
Unfortunately, Camilla seemed to predict his move as her swift kick changed direction and came flashing down.
"Not good—"
Thud~
Relying purely on instinct, Nash rolled away just in time to dodge the stomp.
"Tsk, not bad." Stopping her relentless attack, Camilla allowed Nash to reorganize himself.
"You’ve become a lot stronger than I expected." Nash smiled wryly as he stood up.
Although Camilla’s attacks seemed simple, based on his analysis, the way she mobilized her body and muscles made it seem like her strikes would come from all directions, rendering his pattern recognition ability useless.
One had to know that before having the Runic Space, Nash’s number one reliance was his ability to quickly recognize patterns and react accordingly.
Having analyzed Camilla for years, it didn’t make sense for him to struggle this much.
Although he had dodged all her attacks, it was by the skin of his teeth.
"This is due to my genetic evolution. From a first-generation human, I evolved into a second-generation."
"First-generation? Second-generation? Can you explain that to me, Captain?"
"What?" She called, hearing Nash call her Captain again.
"Can you explain it to me, Camilla?"
"Fine. As you know, A large part of the universe was inhabited by the human race."
"Although different in forms and traits, most of us have the same core genetic trait that was hard to erase."
"Right, but what about the division of gene evolution?"
"A first-generation human refers to primitive lifeforms born on their native planet who haven’t activated the latent potential in their genes."
"On the other hand, a second-generation human is one who has undergone evolution, unlocking their genetic potential."
"Latent potential? What’s that?"
"It’s the unique ability buried within our genes and soul. Unlocking this latent ability is what allowed my strength to skyrocket to this degree."
Hearing her words, Nash began digesting the information, wondering if he could awaken his latent potential without external intervention.
However, before he could organize his thoughts, Camilla’s attack flashed toward his face.
Bam!
Unable to dodge, Nash could only raise his arms to block.
Thud!
Falling backward, he felt his arms go numb as he quickly kicked off the ground, trying to escape Camilla’s range.
Unfortunately, Camilla wasn’t about to let him go, chasing him relentlessly, followed by a barrage of attacks.
With the [Combat Module System] unable to predict Camilla’s movements, Nash could only run and dodge while analyzing her attacks.
As minutes passed, just when he was about to internalize her new movement pattern, another person materialized in the private virtual space.
"Major, the academy has sent an urgent mission!" Melina, one of Camilla’s subordinates, said hurriedly.
"An urgent mission?"
Stopping her attack, Camilla frowned.
"It looks like we won’t be able to finish our fight..."
"It’s fine. You should hurry, or the academy will punish you." Nash smiled, heaving a sigh of relief.
Exhausted from running and dodging her attacks, he was secretly grateful that she had other things to do.
"Good. I’ll call you later so we can continue."
Turning to Melina, she asked, "What’s the mission about?"
"Major, there’s an outsider here..." Melina hesitated, glancing at Nash.
"It’s okay. Speak freely, don’t be so squeamish!" Camilla said coldly, irritated at hearing her subordinate call Nash an outsider.
"The academy will be conducting a trial in the Dark Plane. All seed students must attend the orientation and training before it begins."
"A trial in the dark plane?"
