?*maybe I do have the protagonists luck* thought Elric.

Looking at the huge carcass Elric had a slight smile on his lips, Although it wasn't what he'd expected but at least he was able to get experimental material without doing anything.

"George, Davis, Alvin! go bring it over"

Wiping his drool at the thought of slicing open the now-dead thunder bunny Elric quickly commanded them to bring over the corpse.

Soon with their combined efforts and Elric's cheering on the side, the three of them successfully moved the corpse to their hiding spot.

*Thud!*

with a loud sound, the dead body was thrown onto the ground causing a slight vibration.

"Good, now we can start!"

With that said, under the trio's curious gaze Elric took out a dagger from within his luggage ready to split the dead bunny into two.

*Clank!*

As the dagger made contact with the bunny's fur, it made a slight clunk sound leaving little to no damage and Elric with a numb hand.

Fortunately, Elric seemed to have expected this and without a change of face he took out another Dagger ready to try again.

"Wait young mas-"

Just as Davis was about to persuade him to give up or try something else he noticed the dagger in Elric's hand was suddenly covered in a slightly dark substance.

As early as back when Elric had discovered body-strengthening magic, he had already speculated that it could be used on items thankfully this situation gave him an opportunity to test it

*What should I call it, Haki?*

looking at the dagger in his hand Elric couldn't help but give it a familiar name

but considering this is done with mana rather than the spirit he quickly denied it.

"well since it's a derivative from the body strengthening magic, let's call it item strengthening magic"

saying that, Elric couldn't help but be proud of his name-giving capabilities

While he was celebrating his new discovery, the dagger in his hand suddenly shattered leaving only its handle in his hand.

*Sigh.... it seems item strengthening still needs some working on*

Thinking of this he quickly made a mental note, thankfully there were a lot more extra daggers in the luggage so after getting used to the process the first time, he took out more daggers and repeated the process till the bunny was successfully split into different pieces.

unfortunately unknown to Elric while he was busy mutilating a dead bunny in the name of science, George and the others could help but turn green at the gruesome sight before them

"Young master, are you okay?" Said George as he pointed to Elric, covered in blue rabbit blood.

following the direction of his fingers Elric quickly looked at his clothes, it was then that he noticed he'd been drenched in dry thunder bunny blood.

However, as someone who was used to performing experiments on live subjects back on the blue star it really didn't affect him. so after waving his arm and telling them not to worry he focused on the specimen before him.

Soon, after an hour of slicing and dicing the thunder bunny had been successfully split into different pieces, the nails, and teeth, the mana core, the skin, bones, and lastly, its meat.

looking at his work of art, Elric let out a satisfied smile especially when he looked towards the mana core which kept flashing with streaks of lightning showing its extraordinariness.

seeing the A.I mana core behaving as such, Elric couldn't help but want to scan it with the A.I. chip and start experimenting however looking at the bunny skin beside him he decided to try something out first.

And so under the curious gaze of George and the others, Elric picked up a piece of skin, a dagger, and began to carve out an inscription on it.

"Young master no!" shouted George

seeing what Elric was trying to do George couldn't help but think back to the explosion back in the Library.

Unfortunately it was too late, just before he could stop him Elric had already completed the last stroke.

*I hope it works*

whispering under his breath Elric looked at the inscription before him.

"Silence...." as time based under Elric's gaze no explosion occurred unlike before in the library when the book immediately caught fire as soon as he was done inscribing the flame pattern.

"Success!"

looking at the parchment with a glowing inscription on it Elric knew he had succeeded

With that in mind, Elric began to further divide the thunder bunny skin ready to try to inscribe all the inscriptions gained so far.

And so time began to pass, by the time he was done inscribing it the suns of Elias had already begun to set, Although tired but looking at the finished product in his hands Elric had a satisfied expression on his face.

in his right hand was a thick book like a stack of animal skins bound together by some price of leather stripped from his luggage. 𝑓𝔯𝑒e𝘸e𝘣𝓷𝘰ѵe𝚕.c૦𝙢

Although mostly empty, Elric had already put down most of his recorded magic inscriptions into it.

"Young master what is that?" said George as he pointed to the book in his hand.

Just as Elric was about to put it away, the curious voice of George sounded behind him drawing his attention.

"This?"

It was only at this point Elric realised he hadn't given the book a title. So after a bit of thought, he picked up another dagger, infused it with mana and began to write down the first thing that came to mind.

Soon, the words could be seen clearly on the animal skin book 'Encyclopedia of Magic inscriptions'

*Boom!*

As those words were written down it seemed a chain reaction or a certain taboo had been violated causing a loud sound to be heard all over Elias.

At this moment in George and the rest of the astonished gaze, both Elric and the encyclopaedia began to rise into the air emitting an extra bright light.

Unfortunately unbeknownst to the rest of them including Elric, while this was happening on the outside deep within Elric's soul more serious changes were occurring.

in Elric's soul there orbs could be seen floating around, one representing the A.I. chip, another a seed that was shouted out from the void during the first soul inscription back in the cave and the last an orb with a book-like figure on it, if Elric was there he'd definitely scream ' Isn't this the encyclopaedia!' too bad he wasn't.

Soon under the guidance of a mysterious force, the three orbs began to slowly merge.

[Alert! Alert!]

[Detecting exponential growth of the host soul]

[Alert! Alert!]

[Detecting intrusion by an unknown presence]

[Begin to analyse changes]

[Alert! Alert! Analysis failure!]

As the soul changes occurred, the A.I. Chip's alarm began to go off, unfortunately Elric was too preoccupied at the moment to pay attention to anything.

Outside the valley of thunder bunnies, the floating figures of Elric and his book could be seen from a far distance, as every second passed his figure seemed to go higher and brighter as if there was no end.

"George! Davis! what should we do?" Asked Alvin as he was confused due to the sudden change of situation, too bad none of them had the answer

Realising that there was nothing they could do, the three of them decided to guard Elric and hope everything turns out fine.
