I Want a Divorce Every Day, But the Superstar Says No-Chapter 167 - 166: Do You Want to Imprison Me?
Quiana Sutton shook off Durrell Landon’s hand gripping her wrist. "It’s none of your business."
At the moment she shook him off, Durrell Landon reversed his grip and tightened it fiercely: "You are my wife; how could your matters be unrelated to me?"
After hearing this, she pressed her lips together. "If we get divorced, doesn’t that mean I’m not your wife anymore, and you don’t have the right to intervene in my affairs either?"
The word ’divorce’ was as toxic as venom to him; he simply couldn’t bear to hear it.
Without a second thought, he pulled her into his arms, preventing her from struggling, and kissed her lips.
She widened her eyes.
In that instant, a tingling sensation spread, reigniting nerves that were almost numb. She faintly felt that another personality seemed to sense Durrell Landon’s presence; she frowned, forcibly suppressing this feeling.
After kissing for a while, Durrell Landon noticed Quiana Sutton’s gaze on him hadn’t changed at all, realizing she still hadn’t returned.
Her gaze even held a hint of mockery:
"This time, you definitely won’t bring her back so easily."
Durrell Landon caressed her face with a gentle touch, yet his tone was astonishingly calm:
"Even if you’re not back now, I will definitely bring you back."
After saying this, he struck the back of her neck, causing her to pass out immediately.
Durrell Landon picked Quiana Sutton up and headed toward the underground parking lot.
Oliver Gale watched Quiana Sutton, who was unconscious, feeling a bit puzzled: "Durrell, what’s wrong with her?"
Durrell Landon: "I knocked her out. There’s nothing left for us here; I need to take her back to Imperial View Manor right away."
Oliver Gale: "..."

Imperial View Manor.
When Quiana Sutton woke up, it was already night. No lights were on in the room, only sparse moonlight filtering in through the curtains.
She got up and glanced around the familiar yet unfamiliar room, immediately realizing she was back at Imperial View Manor.
Feeling somewhat agitated, she got out of bed, and as soon as she opened the door, she saw two guards standing at the entrance.
Upon seeing Quiana Sutton, they immediately stopped her but still spoke courteously: "Madam, the Master instructed that you cannot leave the room."
She leaned casually against the wall, looking at the two of them with a bit of amusement.
"Durrell Landon wouldn’t be thinking of imprisoning me, would he?"
Pausing here, she gave the two an up-and-down look: "If he wanted to imprison me, just the two of you probably aren’t enough to qualify."
One of them spoke in a calm voice: "The Master absolutely has no such intention, it’s merely out of concern for your safety."
She took a step back, smiling like a fox.
"What if I insist on leaving?"
The two of them exchanged a look: "This..."
Before they could react, she struck them firmly, slamming one against the wall, causing him to pass out instantly.
At this moment, a teasing voice came from afar —
"You didn’t have to hit so hard; after all, they’re still Durrell’s subordinates."
Quiana Sutton lifted her eyelids, looking coldly at Oliver Gale, who appeared not far away:
"Are you going to stop me too?"
Oliver Gale shrugged:
"I didn’t come to stop you; I just came to tell you, you can’t leave Capital City so easily."
"Is that so?"
Oliver Gale sighed helplessly:
"Two months ago, you vanished from Capital City without a word, and Durrell muddled through these past couple of months; those wounds healed only after I tried everything.
His greatest wish is to find you. Now that he finally found you and brought you back, he has to watch you closely, ensuring you won’t disappear without a word again. He even had The Raven’s people breach all the surveillance in Capital City."
Upon hearing the words ’The Raven,’ a trace of emotion flickered in her eyes:
"Did you just say The Raven belongs to Durrell Landon?"
"Yes."
She couldn’t pinpoint her emotions, but it was quite complex.
But she still had to leave today; she looked steadfastly at Oliver Gale:
"Oliver Gale, I don’t want to fight you, but I have to leave for a reason. If you insist on stopping me, then I can only apologize."
After a pause, just when Quiana Sutton expected he would get physical and force her to stay, he suddenly said:
"I’ll help you leave. My car’s surveillance won’t notice you."
Quiana Sutton: "???"
She spoke with suspicion and confusion:
"Aren’t you Durrell Landon’s brother? Why are you helping me?"
"Let’s just say my brain short-circuited suddenly."
Quiana Sutton: "..."
Regardless, she couldn’t waste time at Imperial View Manor; since Oliver Gale was willing to help her leave, it was exactly what she desired.
...
When Durrell Landon returned from his errands and found Quiana Sutton missing, along with the two bodyguards lying unconscious at the room door,
he immediately ordered a citywide search for Quiana Sutton’s whereabouts.
Eventually discovering that only Oliver Gale’s car had left Imperial View Manor.
Durrell Landon probably never anticipated that Oliver Gale would send Quiana Sutton away behind his back.
As soon as Oliver Gale returned to Imperial View Manor, he saw Durrell Landon’s face, dark and icy-eyed, causing his heart to skip a beat. Instinctively, he greeted:
"Durrell..."
Before he could finish his words, a punch landed on Oliver Gale’s face, causing him to stagger back several steps to stand firmly. As soon as he steadied himself, he heard Durrell Landon suppressing his anger, questioning:
"Why did you send her away?"
Now that she’s gone, where would he get any news about her?
Oliver Gale immediately realized that Durrell Landon knew he had helped Quiana Sutton leave Capital City, and quickly spoke out:
"Durrell, calm down."
"Keeping her forcibly at Imperial View Manor may not be a good thing. After her split personality awoke, she caused havoc in Heavenly Domain for your sake, proving that even the alter is not entirely unfeeling and without loyalty. If you keep her forcefully at Imperial View Manor, given her current personality, the two of you may end up destroying each other." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Sometimes, it’s the bystanders who see everything clearly, while those involved are lost within. He could not allow the two to reach the point of mutual destruction.
"Besides, she didn’t really want to hide completely; she only wanted to do what she had to. Perhaps once she fulfills her own wish, her main personality will return?"
Durrell Landon calmed down a bit, but his face remained extremely grim.
Even though he knew what Oliver Gale said was correct, an indescribable panic surged in his heart.
He feared that the longer this took, the harder it would be to bring her back.
What if her main personality never returned? Wouldn’t he have truly lost her forever?
Just thinking about this prospect left him at a loss, shivering all over, holding onto a facade of calm that was on the verge of collapse.
