Michael asked in an indifferent voice.

Bob on the other hand seemed to be unaffected by Michael’s reaction and the questions that he had asked. Instead, he just shrugged and said, "This is the offer from the Santos family. While we cannot reveal the reason why we would like you to do this, believe me, it is for your own good.

Currently, the Santos family is not in a good position. So, we have no choice but to ask you to leave, so that we can handle other issues by ourselves.

Even though he was angry, he did not show much on his face. He understood, revenge was something that he would have to take eventually.

Immediately after he finished speaking, he turned around and left, leaving the living room silent.

Marion and Susan had not left, and had all heard the conversation. They were all puzzled, wondering what was going on, especially for Marion.

She just could not figure out what was going on. She had not been involved in the conversation between Michael and Nathan, but it was different this time.

She knew this guy, though not personally. At least, she had some information regarding him, and understood that he was Newton’s trusted aide.

So, his presence here was more like Newton’s intention. And, Newton was Zachary’s brother, meaning that he was Michael’s uncle.

Previously, she had thought that Michael and the Santos family were in a good relationship. Unexpectedly, the relationship between the two sides was tense.

This made her wonder, just how did Michael achieve what he had right now? How many sacrifices did he have to make, in order to be able to make it this big?

As for the reason why Newton wanted Michael to leave the nation, to her, it made no sense. With Michael’s return to the Santos family, they were supposed to be happy about it.

Or, could it be possible that, Newton thought that Michael was a threat to his son, for the position of the next leader of the family? Could that be the reason why he wanted Michael to leave the nation?

As for Susan, she was just as confused. She did not understand what was going on. But she had definitely heard about the Santos family during the time that she was in the central province.

So of course, she understood that the Santos family was a big force within the capital. But, unexpectedly, Michael’s background seemed to be related to that Santos family?

At first, when Kate mentioned Michael to her, and all the things that he had done, or owned, she had bought that he was related to that Santos family. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

But, she thought the possibility of that was quite low. After all, why would a member of the Santos family want to come to a small city like Brenton city, instead of staying in the capital?

But now, from the looks of it, it was clear that Michael was from the Santos family. But for some reason, the relationship between the two sides was not good.

And this was something that left her puzzled. If Michael was against the Santos family, it was clear that it was not the Santos family that was supporting him.

At his age, how was it possible for him to be able to achieve all that he had currently achieved by himself? There had to be someone that was backing him.

Though, in the end, Susan decided not to think much about this matter. In any case, it was not related to her, at least, not directly.

So, unless it was something that was going to affect Kate in one way or the other, she would never get herself involved in this, considering that she understood nothing at all.

Michael detected that the two ladies were currently experiencing a turmoil of emotions. But, he did not bother to elaborate anything, deciding to just continue relaxing as he had planned before.

As for the issue of the Santos family, he would deal with it eventually. Right now, with the speed at which sky technologies was developing, it would only be a matter of time before he took over the entire technological industry.

And since he was not holding back, that time would not be far away. Maybe within just a few months, he might be able to accomplish this.

And at that time, he might need to move to the capital. And it would be then that he would be dealing with the Santos family.

But before then, he would have to focus on something related to the abilities and the mutation serums. If he could gain more abilities before he went there, it would be more ideal.

If not, he would have to purchase several bio humans from the system store, then grant them varying abilities. That way, no matter the situation faced, it could be dealt with.

But most crucially, it was the issue regarding the source of that meteor. It was the one that had brought about the issue related to mutants.

Believing that there was a mystery behind this, he thought that it would be better for him to prepare himself early. So, tomorrow, he would have to create another clone, and the following day, he would do the same.

Only by having as many SP as possible would he be able to deal with different issues, and in the shortest time possible, especially during emergencies.
