Inside the study, Newton sat behind the desk, while gazing at Bob, waiting for him to tell him the results of the visit. Even though he already had his own guesses, he still waited for Bob to say it.

"How did it go? Has he agreed to leave?" Newton asked.

Bob shook his head as he said, "No, he refused to leave. In fact, he said that he would be coming over in the capital in a while. Given the exact date, but I’m sure that it would be soon."

Newton’s expression hardened when he heard that. In fact, the guess that he was having was that, Michael had agreed to leave. Instead, the answer that he had received was contradictory to his expectations.

When Bob was about to leave, Newton had informed him that he should tell Michael that, no matter what it was that he wanted, the Santos family would provide.

"Yes, I will make arrangements for that immediately." Bob still went ahead and nodded, before he left the study.

Newton remained behind, his fingers slightly drumming on top of the desk, as he kept thinking of something.

He understood that asking Gregory to take action was risky. And, there was a great possibility that the old man would be alarmed.

But with the way that things were, there was no any other choice. After all, using normal people would be useless, at least from the intel that he had on Michael.

Additionally, using many people would easily attract too much attention. While using Gregory, it would attract some attention, but it would be easy to be able to find a scapegoat.

As long as it was said that Gregory took action to deal with members of the blood Reapers syndicate, the old man would not pay much attention later on.

But of course, for this to go through, Newton understood that he had to make preparations. He could not just expect the old man to believe what he said, without investigating.

Good thing, for the time being, the old man did not know anything about Zachary. Otherwise, if he doubted anything, he would inevitably investigate everything that Newton did.

But another thing that Newton had to be wary of was the government. With Gregory taking action, he would have to do it swiftly and silently. Otherwise, if a commotion arose, and the government was alarmed, things would get out of hand.

When outside, and in the company of other people, since Michael did not have the intention of revealing Onyx, he had no choice but to communicate with it secretly.

And sometimes, he might not mention what he wanted, especially if what he was saying was something sensitive.

So, he thought, why not find something in the system store that could allow him to be able to communicate with Onyx without others hearing?

Of course, he would not allow the AI to read his mind. Instead, he wanted to form a telepathic connection with Onyx, allowing him to be able to communicate with it at any time.

It was just that, Onyx was an AI, and was currently installed on an electronic device. Was it really possible to be able to communicate to the particularly with an electronic device?

At the moment, things that could allow him to communicate with others varied. But of course, there were two that caught his attention.

One of them could allow him to be able to communicate with any intelligent being. This implied, even if it was not a human, as long as it could understand, communication would be successful.

Even if he spoke to a dog, the dog would be able to understand what he wanted it to do. As for if it was going to do it or not, that was another matter.

Regardless, this was something that made Michael’s eyes brighten, as he realized that he had been under using the system store.

If he really exploited the system store to the maximum, just what would he be able to obtain from it?

Despite what he was thinking, he focused on the final item, which was the main one, at least what he wanted the most.
