Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer-Chapter 1131 Simultaneous breakthroughs
[OP: ]
Finding Eon's room was a big thing not just for Eon, but for the rest of them as well. Each one of them was able to get something helpful from that place… it was like they had found a treasure, one that they all could share.
Eon got his bed, a few books, the unfinished projects that he never got to finish including one ultimate heart that his master had created, a technology that powered the perfect artificial helpers like Mr. Rice, and along with that, he also got the three pieces of jewelry that his master left for him.
"It stops time?"
"Not really."
He already had the stopwatch that his master gave him, but there was a certain artifact that enchanted the functions of this watch, something that awakened the powers that his unique pocket watch, which he got from his master on one of his birthdays, possessed.
"Then how did you do that?! You practically skipped through time!"
"It's not that. It's just space skipping… time is still relevant even if you perceive it as something linear."
After getting their unique gifts– Rein got all the pictures on the wall, the ones of his master and him– they got out of the room, and the room disappeared once again, along with the key that had opened the room.
Now, they would have to find the training cubes as well as the rest of the things if they wanted to find the place, but they did not have to do that anytime soon. They had taken out everything that they needed and now that they had all the things useful in that place, they needed to focus on their training and getting better.
"That's cheating! Let's go again! I'm going to defeat you this time, you bastard!" Eon was fighting Carla right now, as the two were sparring today.
Rein was now busy with her own training. Now that she was done with the things that she needed to do, was in a much better state, and was all cheered up with Eon's old photos, she had devoted herself to her training.
Eon had done the same, but he still needed to look after the rest of them, so he was with Carla today, testing out the new pocket watch that granted him the ability to skip through space– a skill that only a few high-ranking creatures possessed.
"It's pretty much the same as (Blink), Carla."
"Like hell it is! You're not using magic, you're just disappearing and reappearing! Is this something like spacewalking that I've read in fiction?!"
Carla had improved a lot over the last few days thanks to the hellish training that their grandfather was putting them through.
Right now, in the empty training ring where they were fighting, there were more than a hundred destroyed swords and even more destroyed arrows scattered all around the place.
"This is not fiction or anything like that Carla. We are simply talking about space manipulation.
Think of it like this: I am standing here, you're coming towards me. I'm before you, but after I use the artifact and designate a certain point in space, I can shift my current position to that point."
There were craters, some deep enough that it seemed they had fought a war by themselves. Carla was also holding a (Level-11) artifact reinforced with earth element magic. She could create walls that blocked attacks at will. It was a magic sword, and even though she was no mage, she could use the sword as freely as any magic swordsman would.
She did not have any spell proficiency or affinity for magic, she could not use Mana either, so she should not have been able to handle a delicate weapon such as the one she was using right now.
"It's not that complicated, but you don't have to understand how this works either. You will learn it in one of your common classes in the second year anyway."
"Huh?! I will have to learn about these things?! Why?!"
"Because that's how it is in the academy, elder sister. Now, stop whining like a baby and come at me.
We are not done until you break this bow as well."
However, perhaps, the use of these magical and powerful weapons was possible because of her unique skill that allowed her to store all these blades in a unique storage space. It was a strange ability that made her different from the others.
Perhaps, it was also the reason she could use different kinds of swords much more easily than the other people.
"Ugh! I know the spar has not ended but—!" She used her movement skills and moved right when Eon was distracted.
-Blink!
But that still did not matter as Eon vanished from his place right when she appeared behind him, and reappeared right behind her, smacking her head with the same wooden bow that he had holding since the start of this spar of theirs.
"Aw! That hurts!"
-Swish! Swish!
-BOOOOOOOM!
She swung her sword more precisely than most swordsmen twice her age could. She aimed for all the vital spots, she aimed for the gaps in his defenses, and she even exploded the weapons that she was holding by overloading her Aura inside of them in hopes of exploding him, but that did not work.
"That's the fourth time you did that… Do you think these weapons grow on trees, sister? You do know each one of them would be stored as a family heirloom anywhere else?"

"Shut up! I know you can mass-produce these things! Even I have six of each that I blasted!"
She had been using all kinds of tricks to land an attack on him. She had tried everything she had learned in the last few days, even done things she usually would not.
She liked swords, but seeing the destroyed weapons was not something she liked or would like in any manner. She was also a swordsman and for those who wielded a weapon, their weapons were as precious to them as any piece of jewelry they held.
Be it the cheapest, rusted sword or the finest divine weapon made for the heroes of ages. Any kind of weapon it may be, for the one who walked the path of weapons, their weapons were still precious. It was their honor, as well as their pride.
"This is it!"
The trick that he was using, that new thing that he could do now, was not something she could get past.
The artifact was complicated already, but now that it had been completed, it could also do things that Eon thought would require a great amount of energy to pull off.
The pocket watch had just become an authority, a unique power of nature that did not require as great an energy input as the spells of high level might need.
Even Skills were pale in comparison to the kind of power this artifact now held. Calling it a true divine artifact would not be an exaggeration anymore, but… he was not using it properly.
Because of his limited mental processing powers, he could not handle this great artifact as well as he might if he could process mental calculations as well as Alf could.
Lucy was there, but he could not take her help in most of the cases. If he was going to continue owning this watch, he would have to get better… but it was not up to him.
It was his limitation, he could not calculate as well as Alf even if he entered the deeper stage of ZONE, and he did not want to give away something as precious as this to anyone else.
It belonged with him, so he now had a new objective.
-OOOOOOONG!
He needed to master the use of this artifact, and make sure to use it as well as someone other than him could.
For that, he needed help from Rein's mentor, Miss Sapphire, someone who actually possessed the affinity and capabilities to handle something like this artifact.
Also, he will have to talk with his mom when he gets back, but all that will have to wait since for now, he needs to focus on his own growth.
"You can keep pouring in as much Aura as you want, Carla." She had accelerated forward after covering her entire body in a volatile Aura. It was a risky move because she wasn't just covering herself in Aur, but was covering her body in moving Mana, something most knights could not handle.
"But don't do things that you don't know yet."
The moment she closed in on him, Eon tapped her forehead with the bow that he was holding while moving a little to the left from her attacking path.
He had to use his Aura when doing so since moving Aura around her was just as dangerous as the attacks that he had been avoiding earlier.
"You're strong, stronger than me. But that does not mean you use your strengths, properly-."
"Yeah yeah."
-BOOOOOOOM…!
Right when he avoided her attack and sidestepped with his strange new space power, she exploded even the Aura that she had built up around her.
The process was much more dangerous than one could think. The way the Aura exploded this time was several times worse than any of her previous attacks.
If not for the protection system that was activated at the right time, she would have been gravely damaged.
"You know what, Eon? You talk a lot."
She fell to the ground after being thrown several steps back because of the impact, a smirk of triumph present on her face.
"That recklessness will cost you an arm one day, dear sister."
He was also thrown back several steps, and his wooden bow which had been in good condition even after enduring so many attacks, burnt to ashes. Experience more tales on novelbuddy
There was now an even bigger crater in the training ground than before, and… Eon had lost this fight.
"Haha, then I will pray that you're around to stitch it back up~."
She had won not just this fight, but she had also made a breakthrough in her Aura control techniques.
She was now on the verge of stepping into the domain of a [Rank-5] knight, the people who could reinforce their entire armor and recreate them from their solidified Auras.
She would need some more time but she had made two breakthroughs at this moment.
"You better not get hurt like that in the first place!"
She could now utilize her Aura in a new manner, use it like a weapon at least to explode it. And, she could now go against beings that possessed absurd powers like the one he had, the power to bend the laws of nature.
It was an achievement for her, and for him as well.
"Hahaha. You were the one that said that, you dumb little boy~."
His defeat signified his success as a mentor and guide. It was reckless, but she won.
For now, that was all that mattered to him…
