King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 94 - 92 Big Cat
Chapter 94: Chapter 92: Big Cat
Chapter 94 -92: Big Cat
“Yo, big cat, long time no see.” In the spacious arena, Muria in dragon form confronted a white tiger with wings sprouting from its back, circling each other.
“Roar, I’ve told you before, I’m not a cat.” Troy growled, a translucent hurricane forming around him as his anger rose. The white tiger that had just roared in anger suddenly seemed to remember something, revealing its snow-white teeth. It chuckled:
“Muria, I heard you got beaten up by those wolves yesterday. Ha ha, you recovered so quickly? The sap of the Elf Life Tree is quite effective, huh?”
“Hmm.” Muria narrowed his eyes, “Big cat, you seem to be quite familiar with those wolves, do you know how they’re recovering now?”
“…” White Tiger Troy stood still for a moment upon hearing Muria’s words, his surrounding hurricane slightly stagnating. It recalled the horrific condition of the three Screaming Moon Heavenly Wolves from yesterday. Such injuries, if inflicted on regular wolves, are enough to kill several times over.
“Heh.” Seeing the apprehensive look in White Tiger Troy’s eyes, Muria laughed with some satisfaction, “Big cat, if you promise to let me pet you a bit, I assure you that I will be gentler in our fight later, how about it?”
“No way.” With a roar, White Tiger Troy spread its wings and charged directly at the golden giant dragon…
The once flat martial arts field was littered with smoking pits and cracks after a round of battle between the two giant beasts. Muria in dragon form held the snow-white Troy under his claw, laughing somewhat delightedly.
“Big cat, you couldn’t beat me when I first arrived, and you certainly can’t beat me now. Admit defeat!”
“Let me go.” Troy, whose furry head was pinned down hard by Muria’s golden dragon claw, struggled to twist his head, his tiger eyes glaring at him irritably.
“Hmm, I can let you go, but you have to promise to me that you will let me pet you obediently afterwards.”
“Pet a few times?” The pure white giant tiger’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of malice appearing, “Like you continuously rubbing my fur from head to tail last time?”
“Yes.”
“Muria, you bastard, I’m not your pet.” White Tiger Troy struggled vigorously, trying to overturn the Golden Giant Dragon pressing on it.
Even if it was indeed quite comfortable when Muria petted it last time, that doesn’t mean it should subject itself to Muria petting it obediently because it is a white tiger, born to be the king of beasts.
“If you don’t agree, then we’ll keep fighting until you do.” Feeling Troy struggle under his claw, Muria spread his dragon wings and flew into the sky, releasing his control over the white giant tiger.
“Roar!” The moment it broke free from Muria’s control, the furious White Tiger Troy lunged towards the giant dragon in the air, only to be immediately smacked to the ground by Muria’s slender dragon tail, creating a deep tiger-shaped pit.
…
“What a relief!” At dusk, Muria was relaxing comfortably in the Life Pool. Even though he wasn’t injured today, he still soaked himself in the pool. Taking a bath after a fight had almost become a habit for him.
“Big cat, hehe.” Muria thought of today’s fight while soaking in the light green pool and couldn’t help but smile. The White Tiger Troy was willing to admit defeat, but refused to submit to being petted by Muria. Therefore, it did not agree to Muria’s request from beginning to end, and fought with him all the time.
Still, in the end, Muria got the chance to pet White Tiger Troy thoroughly because having fought fiercely till the end, this white giant tiger was drained of all its strength and stamina by Muria, becoming too weak to resist.
“Muria, what are you laughing at?” Seeing Muria laughing foolishly alone in the water, Cassio asked with a frown.
“Nothing? Just thinking about what happened today.” Muria nonchalantly waved his hands.
“Muria, Troy hasn’t made a contract with you., It’s not your battle pet. You can’t treat it like you did today.”
“Does it have a Titan partner?” Muria looked at Cassio with some surprise.
“No.”
“Then it’s fine.” Muria stood up from the pool, put on his robes, and headed to his rest area. “All I did was pet its fur, and I didn’t do anything else. It’s no big deal.”
“But…” Cassio heard Muria’s words and furrowed his brows. He tried to explain things to Muria, but seeing that Muria had already entered a meditative state, he gave up.
Muria’s life went from being pressing at first to gradually leisurely. After Heloise announced the end of Muria’s special training, lots of golden-level Titans and legendary exotic beast cubs queued up challenging him to a duel.
Out of curiosity and a bit of desire to show off their martial strength, Muria accepted all the duel requests, whether from Titans or exotic beasts, and then fought them one by one.
After a while, the frequency of Muria’s battles decreased as he learned to decline. Many Titans and exotic beasts were curious about Muria’s special existence as a Titan and a dragon.
After a few skirmishes with Muria, they were overpowered by his extraordinary Titan physique and martial skills comparable to those of Titans of the same age. These warlike Titans and exotic beast cubs were instantly excited.
They challenged Muria to one duel after another daily, much to Muria’s annoyance. Much as Claist, the first Titan of the fifth order to challenge Muria had mentioned, Muria was not interested in being a sparring partner.
Fighting with the weak brings nothing but breeds arrogance, and there’s no gain from it. Only by fighting with those who are of equal strength or stronger can one improve.
So, Muria outright rejected duel requests from Titans and exotic beasts ranked below the Golden Stage Three and only accepted those above the Golden Stage Three. As a result, the number of Titans and exotic beasts wanting to duel with Muria drastically decreased.

There were only five Titans in total who were in the Golden Stage Three and the Golden Stage Four. As for Titans in the Golden Stage Five, they generally didn’t challenge him again after the initial bout out of curiosity.
At this point, Muria’s battle power slightly surpassed ordinary Titans of the fourth rank and barely contended with Titans of the fifth rank. This level of combat power didn’t interest the Golden Fifth-Order Titans too much.
After over a month’s time, the titans and exotic younglings who challenged Muria to a daily duel have formed a routine, and Muria’s life on the Titan Clan’s land has become predictable and stable.
“Muria, your duel request to Troy has been declined.”
“Rejected again.” Muria, hearing Cassio’s words, was immediately annoyed, “He was so eager to duel me before, now that I challenge him, he actually declines, such a coward cat.”
Observing Muria’s tantrum, Cassio indifferently responded, “Those three Silver Moon Sky Wolves have also declined your duel request.”
“All of them declined?”
“Yes.”
“Coward dogs, coward cats.” Muria couldn’t help but curse under his breath, “Forget it, Cassio, let me challenge Gerald.”
“Gerald is in a fight with another titan.”
“This guy is also busy.” Muria frowned. He was rather frustrated, “Cassio, let’s build a teleportation array to Troy’s den, I want to go find him.”
“Muria.” Cassio called out, “Do you really like Troy that much?”
“Such a cute big cat, of course, I like it!” Muria grinned at Cassio, “I love petting his fur.”
“Muria, do you intend to form a contract with Troy, make him your companion?”
“Making the big cat my partner.” Muria stroked his chin, “Signing a contract with it! That is a good idea.”
“If you don’t intend to make Troy your companion, it’s best not to make friendly gestures towards it aside from battle.”
“What’s the difference?”
“Your actions will make other titans think that you want to form a contract with Troy, and they will avoid him when choosing partners.”
“I see.” Muria slapped his palm with his fist, “It’s decided, then. I’ll go find it now and discuss the contract. Set up the teleportation array.”
The translucent spirit surface looked at Muria expressionlessly. A teleportation array began to quickly form…
Giant ancient trees towered overhead, green grass covered the ground, and a large lake sparkled in the sunlight. After the teleportation ended, the sight that greeted Muria was this idyllic landscape. However, there were no humans here, only an enormous pure white tiger in deep sleep.
“Legendary.” Muria was slightly stunned. The aura exuding from the sleeping gigantic tiger was evidently legendary. He had not expected to walk into a legendary creature this easily. But then again, it’s a normal occurrence to bump into the parents when one visits a friend’s house, right?
“Titan, what are you doing here?” The legendary White Tiger opened one eye ever so slightly. Its blue eyes peered through the slit at the little titan who had suddenly barged in.
“Your Excellency.” Muria, caught under the seemingly lazy gaze of the White Tiger, broke out in a cold sweat involuntarily, “I am here to see Troy.”
“Oho.” Hearing Muria’s reply, the Legendary White Tiger closed its eye slit completely, “He’s in the lake fishing.”
“Thank you.” Muria gave a bow to the sleeping legendary beast, then proceeded towards the sparkling lake.
“Hey, Troy.” Muria had just gotten to the lake’s edge when he saw a pure white “big cat” emerging from the water with a nearly ten-meter-long fish in its mouth, walking towards the shore.
The soaking wet Troy, with all four of its powerful claws sunk into the water, looked up when it heard Muria’s shout and saw the grinning Titan on the shore. The flailing big fish in its mouth instantly fell into the water, causing a splash, “Muria!”
“Your fish got away.” Muria pointed at the large fish that had swiftly swum away after falling into the water.
Muria’s well-intentioned reminder was ignored by Troy. The white tiger glanced at its mother dozing off on the shore, then looked at the beaming Muria, its eyes filled with contempt, “Muria, why are you calling me by my name today? Weren’t you always calling me ‘big cat’? Why aren’t you calling me that anymore?”
“Ahem!” Hearing Troy’s words, Muria’s body stiffened and he felt a chill down his spine. He coughed and then, looking back at the Legendary Beast that was still sound asleep, chuckled awkwardly, “Troy, is all this land yours? It’s much bigger than my place.”
“Huh,” Troy stepped onto the shore, his tone full of disdain, “It’s indeed big here, but it’s nothing compared to the dwellings of you titans, you guys even have the Tree of Life’s sap.”
“Don’t you have it?” Muria was surprised.
“Just supplying you titans with the Tree of Life’s sap is already driving the elves crazy. If they had to supply us too, those pointy-eared folks would go insane.”
“Really.” Muria crossed his arms and stroked his chin, watching Troy as he issued an invitation, “Do you want to visit my dwelling? There’s quite a lot of Tree of Life’s sap.”
“You’re inviting me to your dwelling?” Troy looked at Muria with a mixture of disbelief in his eyes.
“Yes.” Muria stared at Troy expectantly. This was a small test; if he agreed, there was a high chance the contract would be signed, “Will you come?”
“Okay.” After a moment’s silence, Troy nodded.
