Atlas and Estelle continued killing the empire’s soldier on the walls as he summoned a horde of Void Ghouls that washed through the fortress like a flood. The Achaemendians didn’t stand a chance as their commanders were hunted down by Theo and Nala.

The blonde knight appeared beside him while breathing heavily. She looked at him with a smile before pointing to the west. ’’Some enemies escaped as they were too far from the fortress for the creatures to get them.’’

’’Don’t worry about it,’’ he replied with a grin. ’’The empire will learn that we are destroying their defences, which would allow the combined Astoria army to push them back.’’

Estelle giggled and stepped toward him and gave him a sudden kiss this caught him off guard. Atlas returned the kiss with a passionate one before the two separated as Nala appeared on the nearby wall.

’My son,’ the lioness’s voice echoed in his mind. ’This woman is a beautiful human. She could feed many children without getting sick.’

Atlas couldn’t help but laugh as Estelle had the biggest boobs out of all his women prompting her to question. ’’What’s so funny, my love?’’

Without answering straight away, he introduced the two. ’’Estelle, this is my mother, Nala. She adopted me as one of her cubs. She just said you’re beautiful and can feed many children.’

When the Dreadmaw Lioness heard this, she let out a loud purr, which caused the blonde to step forward and run her hand through the monster’s soft fur. ’’Hello Nala, I’m Estelle. One of your son’s wives and I promise to always look after him.’’

Atlas smiled, but Nala let out a happy noise before licking the knight, who giggled as the monster’s amused voice echoed in her mind. ’You better, or I’ll eat you. I’ve seen the pain he’s received and needs smart women like you to help him.’

Estelle shivered at her words but Atlas spoke with a chuckle. ’’Leave her alone Mother, she’s been good to me and I love her very much.’’

The blonde beamed as she suddenly lunged at him just as the lioness sniffed the air and quickly teased. ’It seems like daughter here wants to mate, she wants to make cubs with you.’

Atlas stiffened but the young woman rejected such an idea. ’’No children yet Nala. Its too dangerous and we haven’t settled down but once we do there will be many for you to look after.’’

When the Dreadmaw Queen heard this, she let out a deep purr while rubbing her head against her body. He couldn’t help but smile as Theo appeared and landed on the wall with a crash.

’Master. An enemy army is heading toward the fortress,’ the Blood Bat King said. ’There’s a sea of humans.’

Atlas got excited before looking at Estelle. ’’Stay with Nala; she will keep you safe during the upcoming battle,’’ he informed her.

The blonde nodded as the lion queen lowered her body, allowing the knight to climb on her back. When he saw this, he spoke to the monster. ’’Mother, make sure to keep her out of the horde of empire soldiers.’’

Nala agreed with a roar as she leaped off the wall moments before a portal opened and thousands of Dreadmaw Lions poured out and spread out in front of the fortress but they wouldn’t be the frontline.

Atlas used his mana to fly across the landscape and landed with a thud. A dust cloud erupted just as he opened a portal, prompting hundreds of Tarrasques to appear and line up just as an army of monsters appeared.

This caught him off guard as they gave off the aura of Chaos, causing him to think. ’Seems like their making their move and the empire are involved with them.’

With a thunderous roar, he commanded the Tarrasques to hurl themselves at the Chaos-Tainted creatures. In an earth-shaking instant, the two titanic forces collided, his towering, tyrannosaurus-like beasts ripping into the enemy lines with savage fury.

The battlefield erupted into a maelstrom of chaos as Trolls, Giant Wolves, and Mutated Wild Orcs leapt into the fray, clashing against the relentless onslaught in a storm of blood and fury.

When Estelle and Nala appeared, the blonde’s eyes were wide as the titanic battle was shaking the ground. Just then, the enemy army stopped marching before a wave of Mana Blasts crashed into the monsters.

He quickly cast Void Guard to block the incoming shockwave that destroyed the barrier, to his horror. Just then, the Dreadmaw Queen appeared in front of them and took the blast causing them to go flying.

Atlas grabbed the young woman and held her tight as they crashed down with a sickening thud just as the last Tarrasque fell to the wave of Chaos monsters. Without waiting, he summoned some World Eaters.

Hundreds of warriors surged forward, forming a living wall to halt the creatures barreling toward them, while the smaller dinosaurs swarmed in, shredding the enemy with ferocious precision.

At that moment, Atlas summoned Raymond once more. The mighty beast descended in a gust of wind, his massive talons snatching the duo from the chaos below before soaring skyward with a beat of his wings.

Below, the ground trembled under the thunder of marching legions and the screech of war machines, their fiery projectiles streaking toward the fleeing trio. Raymond’s piercing cry cut through the chaos.

But then, the horizon darkened. Two colossal shadows unfurled against the clouds, their scales shimmering, one a deep crimson, the other green. Atlas panicked when seeing this, as their strength was something else.

’Dragons!’ he thought with wide eyes.

Their roars shook the heavens, splitting the air with a sound that drowned out even the Empire’s war cries. Raymond’s steady flight faltered, his talons tightening around Atlas and Estelle as panic seized him.

Atlas shouted over the wind. ’’Raymond, fly!’’

The dragons banked toward them, wings slicing through the air, their jaws parting to reveal glowing maws of flame and shadow. ’’Move now, Ray!’’ he shouted.

When the beast heard that, it veered sharply to the side as a jet of fire scorched the air where they’d been moments before. Atlas clung tighter, his heart pounding, while Estelle watched on in horror.

With no time to think, Raymond dove into a spiraling descent, weaving through the smoke and chaos, fleeing the twin terrors as the Empire’s forces roared below and the dragons pursued from above.

Atlas turned back and cast a dozen Void Bombs and Lances at the dragons. The projectiles sliced through the air before slamming into the green monster and exploding and piercing its wings.

The red dragon’s eyes blazed with fury, its mouth splitting wide as it unleashed a stream of searing flames toward them. Raymond let out a defiant screech, and in an instant, a shimmering wind barrier erupted between them and the inferno.

Moments later, flames crashed against the shield with a deafening roar, sending tremors through the air and causing the barrier to quake. Just then, Atlas opened a portal to the Otherworld as none of them could fight the monsters.

Raymond flew through just as the green dragon went to bite them, and its head followed through, but it was closed. He watched as the monster’s head crashed to the ground, decapitated.

The monsters in the Otherworld went crazy when sensing this, but Atlas quickly killed the dragon with a Void Lance through its head. Just after that, the Stormeagle landed with a smash, and part of its wing was damaged. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

When everyone came to a stop Estelle looked dizzy while his head spun. He still cast a healing spell on Raymond, who recovered before taking off and heading toward his nest to sleep.

’’That was crazy,’’ the blonde commented as she laid down to stop the spinning.

Atlas agreed with a nod before joining the knight just as Medusa and Lilith appeared nearby with wide eyes. The Honey Badger woman rushed up to him with a worried expression. ’’Are you okay, husband? What happened out there?’’

’’Astoria is fucked,’’ Estelle spoke up. ’’They have a dragon. Our love killed the green one, but an angry red still lives. The empire is marching north after regrouping.’’

When the two women heard this they were shocked as Medusa questioned. ’’We should attack them from the rear; the Northern realms will be fighting from the front.’’

’’Good idea,’’ Atlas replied while pulling out some ale and taking a swig. ’’I will use my monsters more. We can’t risk ourselves against those dragons; they were much stronger than me.’’

The three looked annoyed, but the snake woman commented. ’’We could use hit-and-run tactics to keep away from the dragons. Because I know they have more than one. The empire probably has an army waiting in the shadows.’’

Atlas agreed and scanned the outside world only to see the red dragon destroying everything around it as the empire armies backed off so they wouldn’t be caught up in the chaos.
