Atlas and the girls had to flee toward the Northern Waste as the empire was steamrolling through Astoria. But halfway through their journey, Artemis commented as they all sat on Raymon's back. ''Why don't we travel south? We can hit them in their homeland.''

''What about the swarms of dragons patroling everywhere? Raymond barely escaped last time!'' Amethyst replied.

When hearing the ladies talk, he spoke up. ''We can fly over the ocean; it's dangerous but doable if Ray can handle it.''

'I'll do it, Master!' the Stormeagle's voice echoed in his mind.

Following that, the giant monster banked left and headed straight for the coast as black smoke covered the land thanks to all the battles and destroyed castles all over Astoria, which annoyed him.

Atlas watched the land pass by as the scarred landscape of Astoria blurred beneath him. Jagged ruins and smoldering forests streaked past, swallowed by plumes of dark smoke that stung his eyes.

As the craft neared the coast, the horizon unveiled a roiling ocean, its surface a chaotic dance of towering waves and frothing whitecaps, lashed by a ferocious storm. Lightning cracked across the sky, illuminating the tempest's fury.

'They must have been regrouping their forces to counter me,' he mused while drinking some ale. 'And that mana cancelling weapon is dangerous incase I can't sent the girls to the Otherworld.'

Moments later, Estelle, Artemis, Grishna, and Zena returned to the Otherworld, leaving him and Amethyst on Raymond's back. The two of them had to hold on tight as the wind was getting worse.

A thin shield washed over them thanks to the Stormeagle trying to protect them, but thanks to having to use one to aid himself, the one that covered the duo didn't block out the cold air that rushed in.

Atlas glanced around and could only see a few feet around them, thanks to an unsettling mist that descended on the area. Just then, a horrible screech echoed out as a swarm of Giant Eagles appeared behind them.

When seeing this, Raymond glanced back and quickly warned. 'Chaos monsters Master! We have to be careful.'

Following that, he pointed his hand in their direction and started casting Void Bombs and Blasts into the horde. Explosions erupted just as Amethyst transformed into her phoenix form before jumping off.

She soared toward the enemy monsters and sent a wave of purple fire that washed through the monster ranks. He watched as they burned to ash, as he continued slinging spells into the horde.

A cataclysmic barrage of explosions shattered the heavens, hurling fiery chaos across the sky! Raymond, heart pounding, dove through the maelstrom as the merciless Chaos Eagles screeched, their razor-sharp talons locked on him.

With a defiant roar, Atlas unleashed a torrent of Void Lances, radiant spears of pure oblivion that ripped through the air. The dark magic shredded the beasts' wings, sending them spiraling in a blazing, screaming descent to their doom.

Following that, he quickly noticed Amethyst being overwhelmed by the Chaos Monster, prompting him to act. Without waiting, he crouched down before exploding forward and flying through the air using his mana.

Once getting close, he pulled out his void-infused blades and cut down dozens of creatures while sending the phoenix back to the Otherworld. Moments later, he started to fall toward the ground at high speed.

While doing this, the eagles continued attacking, forcing him to defend himself using Void Guard, which blocked their vicious talons. But this caused him to be propelled through the air just as he summoned Theo.

''Catch me!'' he shouted.

The Blood Bat King screeched as he zoomed through the portal and caught him by the legs as an army of smaller bats crashed into the Chaos Eagles. Following that, he realized that his monsters were losing.

He quickly summoned thousands of Bloodhawks, along with a king, who started fighting with the monsters. Theo threw him onto his back and fled as Raymond caught up while ranting. 'Damn creatures hurt my wings.'

Just then, a horrifying aura slammed against them, causing the Bat King to falter, but he righted himself. When Raymond sensed this, his voice cried out. 'Master! You must flee. Chaos has a sky beast leagues above us!'

He panicked at the beast's words, but Theo declared with determination. 'I'll get master away from this monster! Cover us, Ray!'

'Gotcha!' the Stormeagle exclaimed.

Moments later, a massive dragon appeared from the clouds below, causing Theo to bank right as a stream of fire shot up, missing them by a few feet as the force of the blast sent them plummeting.

The Blood Bat King righted himself a second as Raymond slammed into the giant monster and tore through its scales. This made the enemy roar in pain but gave Theo the time to escape.

He spun around to see his beast beating the dragon and started flying off. The enraged creature started chasing after the Stormeagle, giving them time to escape as Theo dashed forward while speeding up.

They soared over the sea as more Chaos Wagles emerged. But he cast dozens of Void Lances; he dispatched the enemies in seconds, allowing the duo to escape unscathed as Raymond returned to the Otherworld when getting far enough away.

The ocean churned beneath a sky bruised with storm clouds as Theo, the Blood Bat King, and Atlas, his colossal bat steed, tore through the storm toward the Achaemenid homeland to cause trouble there.

'Hopefully, Raymond is okay,' he thought with a worried expression.

Waves roared, hurling water everywhere, while lightning slashed the horizon, illuminating the distant promise of their destination. He clung to Theo's black-furred back, his tattered cape whipping in the wind, eyes glowing faintly with vampiric resolve.

As the storm's fury grew, winds howled like a chorus of vengeful spirits, but the bat's massive wings carved through the chaos. Rain stung his face, mingling with the salt of the sea, yet he urged the beast faster.

Thunder cracked, shaking the air, as the land called to them through the maelstrom. Then, from the swirling mist, Achaemenidian sky-riders emerged: cloaked warriors riding winged serpents, their lances gleaming with enchanted fire.

Theo bared his fangs, power surging through his veins. They soared over the sea as more Achaemenidians closed in. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed Void Lances that pierced the enemies in seconds.

Their serpents shrieked as they plummeted into the abyss, allowing the duo to break free. He felt Theo veer to the side, dodging a lightning strike that scorched the air, his wings thrumming with mana thanks to him sending Theo more energy so he could keep going.

'Almost there, master.' Theo informed.

Afterward, he relaxed as they reached the land, and Theo dived into a nearby forest and caught one of the branches. Thanks to the dark color of his fur, it hid them among the shadows as the empire's fliers appeared.

He noticed the riders passing under just above the forest floor while searching for them, but the bat's voice echoed in his mind. 'We must be careful, these Sky Serpents are powerful creatures.'

'Alright, we'll stay here so we can find a safe place to enter the Otherworld,' he replied to the beast.

Atlas jumped onto a nearby branch as Theo joined him as more enemies flew around the forest trying to find the two, but it was safe enough to return. He sent the Blood Bat King back before returning himself.

Moments later, he reappeared in the Otherworld and was jumped on by Amethyst as the purple-haired beauty kissed him all over his face, which made the others giggle as they did the same thing.

Following that, he slumped into a nearby chair and started relaxing as Noorah appeared on his head in her fox form while Medusa got comfortable around his neck and Lilith curled up in his lap.

This put him at ease, and he soon fell asleep, causing the rest of the harem to beam as Grishna commented. ''I wonder how much mana he used to escape the empire, especially over the sea. That was dangerous.''

While he slept, the girls kept an eye on the outside world as the empire went crazy searching for him, but thanks to being in the Otherworld, the enemies couldn't find them, allowing the group to rest.

The next morning, he stirred with a yawn, the soft glow of sunrise filtering through the window, which made him relax. 'I must've been exhausted to crash like that,' he mused, his thoughts still hazy.

Atlas shook off the fog, stood, and stretched, a series of satisfying pops echoing through his joints as he sighed in relief. After doing that, he walked toward the kitchen to make himself some tea.

While doing that, Noorah jumped off his head and returned to her human form, prompting her fluffy white hair to bounce everywhere as she let out a yawn. ''Can I have some, please? My throat is dry.''

''Of course,'' he replied with a charming smile.

This made the fox girl's cheeks go red as her fluffy tail swayed side to side while smiling.
