Chapter 135: Chapter 136 Jealousy 1

After hanging up the phone, Brandan completely lost the mood to look at the documents. He slightly furrowed his brow and leaned back in the office chair.

He knew where Iris Harris had gone.

But he was very, very unhappy that she went to see that person.

That person’s intentions towards her were blatantly obvious; he didn’t believe Iris couldn’t see it.

Thinking about this, a layer of gloom rose in Brandan’s heart.

He could accept Iris throwing a little tantrum at him, but he couldn’t accept her going to see William Moore.

He stared at his phone, his gaze heavy.

Maybe he should make it clear to her what his bottom line was.

He couldn’t accept her showing friendliness to another man.

He was a normal man, and he couldn’t accept his wife behaving overly intimately with another male.

If he put it that way, would she understand?

Brandan lowered his eyes, thinking faintly, then slightly tightened his fingers.

He had to admit. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Right now, he was very angry.

When Iris Harris arrived, William Moore hadn’t come back yet, but his personal assistant, Eddison, was already there. Seeing her, Eddison seemed very pleased.

"The young master just finished a meeting and is on his way back. Are you thirsty? Would you like some water?"

Iris Harris smiled and shook her head, walking in to sit on the sofa in the hall. "I’ll just wait here for Xavier."

She hadn’t been to William Moore’s villa for a while, but at the moment it still felt familiar.

Eddison asked the servant to bring over some fruit, and Iris said thank you. Eddison replied, "Miss Harris, I’m going to get busy. If you need anything, just let the servants know and I’ll come over quickly."

Iris Harris smiled and said, "We’ve known each other for so long, you’re too polite."

Eddison thought to himself, she was the apple of their young master’s eye, so she deserved to be well taken care of. But he respectfully replied, "It’s my duty."

Iris Harris knew Eddison was always earnest, so she didn’t make it difficult for him, just smiled and nodded, waving her hand, "I understand. Go ahead and do your work. I’ll just sit here."

The hall was very quiet.

In William Moore’s villa, even the servants walked lightly. Iris Harris leaned against the sofa, warmed by the sunlight, and soon began to doze off.

She didn’t know how long she had been asleep when she suddenly felt a darkness in front of her eyes. Opening her eyes, she saw William Moore standing in front of her, watching her.

He was wearing a white shirt, standing against the sunlight, his whole person almost seemed to be glowing, and his gaze at her was indistinct due to the backlight. Iris rubbed her eyes, just as she wanted to see more clearly, William Moore had already looked away and walked to her side.

"Xavier, when did you get back?" Iris’s voice was still a bit drowsy, sounding lazy and almost coquettish, "I didn’t hear any noise."

"I just got back." William Moore chuckled, "I saw you were asleep, so I didn’t make a sound."

Iris Harris rubbed her eyes, "I see... I haven’t been sleeping well lately."

William Moore didn’t ask her why she hadn’t been sleeping well. He raised his hand and ruffled Iris Harris’s hair, "I’m going to change clothes. Let’s have dinner together later?"

"Okay."

William Moore changed into casual clothes and came down. Despite the ordinary clothes, they seemed to shimmer on him; he was a natural clothes hanger.
