Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 760: Irene’s Departure
"We better put it in a safe place. We’ll take it back if needed. Along with these two portraits. Don’t let things like this make the focus on our current life waver."
Arielle nodded in agreement.
"Correct. The future is a mystery. If we know too much, I’m afraid it will only bring great disaster," she replied.
Ronan then ordered Lucas to keep the paintings, letter, and necklace well, and not let anyone touch or steal it. He then invited Arielle back to their room to ask how his wife’s day was. Today the girl wouldn’t meet with Maxieno. So, Ronan still had plenty of time to spend with his wife.
"Tomorrow is Irene’s departure day. Can I sleep with her tonight?"
"Ah, I forgot about that... You have already asked for my permission since yesterday," Ronan said as he just remembered that his younger sister would be entering the academy tomorrow.
"Okay, this is your last chance to spend time with Irene."
"I heard that your father will be visiting tomorrow morning. He also wants to accompany Irene with William and Aimee."
Ronan nodded. "I’ve given him permission. I have no right to refuse. He is still her father."
"And yours."
"Yup. And ... mine."
Arielle hugged her husband from the side. She knew that Ronan was sad because he didn’t have much time to spend with his sister. However, so far, their progress was quite good. Irene got closer and more relaxed when she was with Ronan, even though it was still difficult for the young girl to call him brother.
"I’m worried that Irene will be awkward with me again when she returns during the vacations," Ronan said, making Arielle laugh.
"No way... I’m sure Irene will never forget everything you did for her. She will come back more confident. I’m sure that when Irene comes back on vacation, she will have the courage to call you brother."
Ronan smiled upon hearing that. Arielle really knew how to enliven his mood.
"I hope so too," he replied expectantly.

The next day, Arielle woke up early. She saw Irene still sleeping soundly on the bed. Aimee, as well as another maid, had arrived to help the princess get ready. Irene had to prepare herself to leave for the academy. Last night, the young girl, however, slept too late, so she was still in the dreamland right now.
Irene heard the news that her father would come. The young girl didn’t sleep at all and spent her time talking with her father late into the night. Irene talked about many things, and Arthur could only listen attentively.
Arthur thanked Arielle for giving Irene a precious experience the young girl had never had before. Tens of years spent under the pressure of the werewolf clan made Arthur feel a deep guilt towards his daughter. Now, thanks to Arielle, Irene got proper food, drink, clothes, and all the facilities of the highest quality.
There was still time for Irene to sleep. Arielle asked Aimee to wake up her sister-in-law in thirty minutes while she prepared herself to start her day.
Meanwhile, Ronan was nowhere to be seen in their room. It seemed the man went back to his office. In the hallway, Arielle met Lucas and asked where her husband was.
"Lucas, do you know where His Majesty the King is?"
"Ah... His Majesty is visiting the cathedral with Sir Arthur. He said he would come to have breakfast together later," Lucas said, conveying the message from his king.
"Oh, I see. Okay. Then, I will go with Irene later. What about all of Irene’s preparations?"
Arielle and Lucas walked side by side towards the princess’ room.
"Everything is ready, Your Majesty. All of Princess Irene’s luggages have been put in the carriage. So is Miss Aimee’s luggages."
"Thanks for your hard work, Lucas."
"Your welcome, Your Majesty. It is an honor for me to serve the royal family."
Arielle smiled faintly at Lucas. The man had helped her a lot. Since the first time she arrived at the palace, Lucas was someone who had never got tired of serving her. Lucas was also the one who protected her on the first full moon night she arrived in Northendell.
"I’ll go to Irene’s room first. Once again, thank you, Lucas."
"You’re welcome, Your Majesty." Lucas answered while bowing his head slightly to salute Arielle who entered Irene’s room.
Inside the room, Irene was sitting in front of the mirror. Tania was combing Irene’s hair while Aimee was preparing the academy uniform that the young girl would wear. Aimee also prepared a black ribbon similar to the color of the uniform that Irene would wear.
"How about this ribbon? Does it look good?" Aimee asked Tania.
Arielle who saw them let out a light chuckle. Everyone was busy with their own business. She looked at the three different women of the generation in front of her with interested eyes. This sight reminded her of how Tania always combed her hair gently.
"The other ribbon is better. The gold color makes it look more striking," said Tania, while pointing to the black ribbon with gold thread in Aimee’s other hand. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Is that so?" Aimee thought for a moment then nodded. "I also thought so. This plain black ribbon is too boring. Princess Irene has to look beautiful on her first day at the academy. She has to be the center of attention."
"Irene will always be the center of attention with whatever she wears," said Arielle, joining from behind.
"Your Majesty," exclaimed Aimee and Tania at the same time.
"How? Is Irene ready?"
"Soon. Just a little more," answered Tania as she gave Arielle some space to see Irene more clearly.
After arriving beside Irene, Arielle touched the young girl’s shoulder, and Irene smiled broadly. Irene was really beautiful, like two peas in a pod with her mother, the late Queen Zoe. Irene had a firm jawline, thin light eyebrows, and naturally red lips. She was like the female version of Ronan.
"Are you ready to start your day at the dormitory?" asked Arielle.
"Yes. Aimee will accompany me for a few days at the dormitory. I can learn a lot from her."
