Lust Meter System: Conquering Beauties-Chapter 54: Starlight Inn
Liam pushed through the restaurant doors, his jaw tight, his hands still trembling slightly from the adrenaline.
He’d scrubbed the blood off in the bathroom down the block, checked his reflection twice to make sure there were no stains on the suit, no evidence of what he’d just done.
His mind was still on Kelvin, on his friend’s swollen face, the blood, the way he’d groaned trying to push himself up off the pavement.
Liam’s fists clenched at his sides as he walked back toward the table.
Elena was standing near the windows, phone pressed to her ear, her face twisted in irritation. Her free hand gripped the edge of the table, knuckles white.
"I don’t care," she snapped into the phone. "Figure it out. I’m not paying you to make excuses."
She ended the call with a sharp jab of her thumb and looked up just as Liam reached the table.
"What was that just now?" Her voice was cold, sharp enough to cut. The warmth from earlier had evaporated completely.
Liam stopped a few feet away, running a hand through his hair. "I thought I left my stove on. I know it sounds stupid, but I couldn’t remember if I turned it off this morning, and it’s been bugging me all day. I had to call my neighbor to go into my place to confirm, last thing I need is to burn down my apartment building."
Elena’s eyes studied his face for a moment.
She could tell he was lying, forgetting to turn off a stove was serious, the kind of thing that should make someone look panicked, scared. But Liam’s expression wasn’t fear. It was anger.
"Paranoid, I know," Liam added with a slight shrug. "But I couldn’t just sit here wondering."
Elena hesitated, then nodded. She sat down gracefully, crossing one leg over the other.
The movement made the slit in her red dress shift higher, exposing more of her smooth thigh.
Liam caught himself glancing, just for a second, before forcing his eyes back to her face.
He sat across from her, his hands resting on the table. "I need to ask you something."
"Go ahead."
"Why me?" His voice was calm, but there was an edge to it. "Why are you doing all this? The gifts, the suit, renting out this whole place. Why go through all this trouble?"
Elena tilted her head, a small smile playing at her lips. "Because I can."
Liam’s teeth ground together, but he kept smiling. ’Rich people. They think they can just get anything they want because they have money.’
"That’s not really an answer," he said.
"It’s the only one you need." She picked up her wine glass, swirling the dark red liquid inside. "I wanted to do something nice for you. Is that so hard to believe?"
"It is when you’re threatening me if I don’t show up."
Her smile didn’t waver. "I didn’t threaten you. I simply made it clear that I wanted to see you. There’s a difference."
’Is there?’
He leaned back slightly, his jaw still tight. "And what happens if I say no next time?"
Elena’s eyes darkened just a little, her fingers tightening around the stem of the glass. "Then I’d be disappointed. And I don’t like being disappointed."
Liam held her gaze, his mind racing. ’She’s serious. She actually thinks she can just control people like this.’
But then her expression softened, and she set the glass down, leaning forward slightly.
The movement made the front of her dress dip lower, the fabric clinging to her breasts, the curves of her body impossible to ignore.
"For some reason," she said quietly, "I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Even when you walked in earlier, I wanted nothing more than to... well." She smiled, a little more genuine this time. "But now, for some reason, I’m a little clearer-headed."
’Must be because I took some of her lust out of her.’
Time froze.
The restaurant went silent, the soft instrumental music cutting off mid-note. Elena’s expression locked in place, her lips still curved in that small smile.
Text appeared in Liam’s vision, sharp and glowing.
[Option 1: "You’re saying you’re getting bored of me... Ouch, my boy down there is getting sad." +30 Lust Points]
[Option 2: "I can’t stop thinking about you too." +10 Lust Points]
Liam didn’t hesitate.
He selected Option 1.
Time rushed back into motion.
"You’re saying you’re getting bored of me already?" Liam said, his voice light, teasing. He glanced down at his lap, then back up at her with a mock pout. "Ouch. My boy down there is getting sad."
Elena’s eyes widened slightly, and then she laughed—a genuine, surprised sound that lit up her face. Her hand came up to cover her mouth, but the laugh escaped anyway.

"You’re ridiculous," she said, still smiling.
"I’m serious. You’re over here saying you’re ’clearer-headed,’ and now I’m wondering if I need to step up my game."
She shook her head, still grinning. "You’re unbelievable."
"I’m just saying. If you’re losing interest, let me know now. I’ll save myself the embarrassment."
Elena leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table. The position gave him a perfect view down the front of her dress—the swell of her breasts pressed together, the smooth skin of her cleavage. "Trust me, Liam. I’m not losing interest."
"Good to know."
She tilted her head, her smile turning a little more playful. "You know, I have to say... you were impressive that night."
"Yeah?"
"Mm-hmm." She picked up her wine glass again, taking a slow sip. Her eyes never left his. "You were big. Bigger than I expected. And you lasted longer than most men I’ve been with."
Liam raised an eyebrow. "Most?"
"Don’t let it go to your head." She set the glass down, her fingers trailing along the rim. "But the part I couldn’t forget... the part that kept replaying in my mind... was that shock. That feeling that went through my entire body." Her voice dropped lower, more intimate. "How did you do that?"
Time froze again.
[Option 1: "I’m not sure I can do it again." +0 Lust Points]
[Option 2: "Instead of explaining, why don’t I show you?" +25 Lust Points]
Liam selected Option 2.
Time snapped back.
"Instead of explaining," Liam said, his voice low and deliberate, "why don’t I show you?"
Elena’s lips parted slightly, her eyes darkening. She leaned forward even more, her elbows pressing into the table, her breasts pushing together. "And how, exactly, would you do that?"
Liam smiled, watching the number in his vision tick upward.
Time froze once more.
[Option 1: "Why don’t we get out of here so I can show you?" +20 Lust Points]
[Option 2: "Nevermind, I was just kidding." +0 Lust Points]
He selected Option 1.
"Why don’t we get out of here so I can show you?" Liam said, his smile widening.
Elena’s eyebrow arched, her expression curious. "Where do you have in mind?"
"You’ll see. Let’s go."
Liam stood up and walked around the table, extending his hand toward her. Elena looked at his hand for a moment, then placed hers in his. Her skin was warm, soft.
He helped her to her feet, and she smiled up at him. "Such a gentleman."
Liam gestured toward the door with his free hand, guiding her forward. He stayed close behind her, his eyes following the sway of her hips, the way the red dress clung to every curve.
A wide grin tugged at his lips as he looked above her head.

They stepped outside into the cool evening air, and almost immediately, a sleek black Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled up to the curb.
The thing was massive—easily seven feet wide, the body painted in glossy midnight black that reflected the streetlights like a mirror.
The chrome grille gleamed, and the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament caught the light as the car rolled to a stop.
Liam stopped mid-step, his eyes widening. ’Holy shit.’
He couldn’t help himself. Even through the anger still simmering in his chest, the sight of the car hit him like a punch. He’d only ever seen cars like this in magazines or in his dream.
The driver’s door opened, and a short, slightly chubby man in his late fifties stepped out. He was dressed in a black suit and cap, moving with the practiced efficiency of someone who’d done this a thousand times. He walked around the car and opened the rear door for Elena.
She slid inside gracefully, her dress shifting as she settled into the cream leather seats. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Liam followed, ducking his head as he climbed in. The interior smelled like leather and money—clean, expensive, untouchable. The seats were soft, the kind of soft that made you feel like you were sinking into a cloud.
The driver closed the door and returned to the front, sliding into the driver’s seat. He adjusted the rearview mirror and looked back at Elena. "Where to, madam?"
Elena glanced at Liam, a small smile on her lips. "This young man is directing you tonight. Do well to listen to him."
The driver nodded. "Alright, ma’am." He looked at Liam through the mirror. "Where to, sir?"
Liam leaned forward slightly. "Keep going straight. Then take a left at the next light."
"Yes, sir."
The car pulled away from the curb smoothly, the engine so quiet Liam could barely hear it. He sat back, his mind racing. ’I saw one earlier on my way to the restaurant. Just gotta find it again.’
The drive was short—maybe five minutes—with Liam directing the driver through a few turns. Finally, they pulled onto a side street, and Liam spotted it.
A motel. Small, run-down, with a flickering neon sign that read "Starlight Inn" in faded blue letters. The paint on the building was peeling, and the parking lot was cracked asphalt with weeds growing through the gaps.
"Right here," Liam said. "Pull over."
The driver obeyed, bringing the Rolls-Royce to a stop in front of the motel. He got out and opened the door for Elena.
She stepped out, looking up at the building, her eyebrow raised. "A motel?"
Liam climbed out after her, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Yeah. Don’t tell me you want to turn back now."
Elena stared at the building for a moment longer, then looked back at him, a slow smile spreading across her face. "No. Let’s go."
