Mercenary's War-Chapter 2190 - 2167: This Is Strength
Gao Yang stood up and created space for himself, but he didn’t have a gun in his hand.
Without a gun, Gao Yang could only watch the enemies right in front of him without being able to take them down one by one.
Out of twelve Southeast Asian persons, six were already lying on the ground, five of whom were motionless and completely incapacitated. The one whom Gao Yang had just kicked was writhing in pain, and among the remaining defeated ones, Gao Yang had shot one to death. Besides the one Eileen or Lucica shot, Li Jinfang had taken down three people himself.
If twelve people came one by one, Li Jinfang could definitely handle them all within a minute, but with twelve people charging together, it was impressive enough that he had managed to take down three, let alone being able to continue standing and battling.
Being surrounded and attacked from all directions was certainly different.
Li Jinfang was already covered in blood, and at least four of the enemies around him held knives.
Li Jinfang was not without the ability to evade or counterattack. He constantly maintained a space around himself to prevent others from getting too close and stabbing him, but he still lost the opportunity to completely kill his opponents. Whenever he had a chance to eliminate one, he had to immediately dodge to avoid a fatal stab.
Gao Yang’s mind was still a bit foggy, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t quickly assess what was critical. Of course, his first choice was to get a gun, but there was none at his feet, so he either had to run a few steps to grab one from a corpse or kick the enemy right in front of him.
Li Jinfang’s situation was extremely dangerous, and without hesitation, Gao Yang stepped forward and kicked one of the enemies who had his back turned toward him right in the butt.
Groin kick isn’t always just about rupturing testicles.
The guy who got kicked in the butt jumped up at once, squeezing his legs together, writhing his body and leaping into the air, holding a knife in his right hand and clutching his butt with the left hand, with his eyes widened to the extreme and staring at Gao Yang in disbelief. He fell to the ground from mid-air and immediately started rolling in pain.
Gao Yang just delivered one kick to his enemy’s butt, creating an opening for Li Jinfang immediately.
"Ha!"
Li Jinfang shouted loudly, ducked slightly, and darted forward, slipping through the gap that Gao Yang opened, but as he exited the encirclement, he was slashed once again on his right shoulder’s back, leaving a gash.
"Ha!"
Li Jinfang darted forward to stand in front of Gao Yang, then spun around, raised his arms, and let out another loud shout.
Gao Yang reached out and lifted the shirt from Li Jinfang’s lower back, pulling out the Glock 21 that was tucked there.
Gao Yang extended his left hand and pushed Li Jinfang’s head aside, and Li Jinfang, following momentum, tilted his head, dodging to the side, and then Gao Yang raised his gun, bang bang bang bang bang.
The tattooed arm holding a knife paused less than two meters in front of Li Jinfang, his left arm raised in a blocking and striking position, while his right held the knife at his waist, not exactly standard but surely a common blade combat stance, yet he was instinctively frozen.
Because all the people beside the tattooed arm were dead.
Staring blankly at Gao Yang’s gun barrel still smoking, the tattooed arm instinctively retreated a step.
"You think you’re tough? Aren’t you tough? Come on, come on!"
Gao Yang was sore from several kicks he took, making him furious. Rarely, he stopped fighting to spew nonsense during combat.
Too much nonsense is the biggest cause of death for villains. Gao Yang didn’t know if he was the villain, but he certainly wouldn’t allow himself too much.
"Who are you people!"
The tattooed arm wiped his face with his left hand, clearing the blood off it, then softly asked a question.
Li Jinfang, without hesitation, said in a deep voice: "Satan, Frog!"
The tattooed arm glanced at Gao Yang; Gao Yang raised his head high, shouted: "Satan, Ram!"
"It’s really you."
After whispering this, the tattooed arm spoke seriously: "Vietnam Gang, Ruan Zhongyong..."
Before he finished, the tattooed arm suddenly swung his right hand.
Gao Yang feared dying from too much talking, so even as he spoke, he was highly alert—not relaxing at all, indeed remained highly focused to prevent dying from nonsense.
Just seeing the tattooed arm’s shoulder move slightly, Gao Yang paced a shot—not at the hand but directly at the connection between the arm and shoulder. Shooting there is easier than hitting the hand, and one shot would certainly stop the tattooed arm from throwing the knife.
The tattooed arm’s right hand wasn’t a last-ditch killer move, as he tried moving his right hand to hurl something while his left hand reached towards his back. Gao Yang fired another shot, incapacitating his left arm, then shouted: "Ruan Zhongyong? Never heard of him, reaching for a gun? You’re dreaming in front of me."
After leaving that final remark, Gao Yang fired a third shot, hitting directly between the eyes, and the tattooed arm fell dead on cue.
The arm immediately dropped, breathing heavily afterward, Gao Yang looked towards Li Jinfang and asked: "Are you alright?"
"Won’t die from it, just flesh wounds."
Gao Yang stuffed the gun into Li Jinfang’s hand and said: "Clear the field, quickly."
After speaking, Gao Yang reached into his pocket for his phone while scanning around for his own gun; spotting his gun, he immediately ran over, picked it up, checked it was unbroken—just a slight mark on the slide near the muzzle, and then he felt relieved.
Eileen and Lucica had already rushed over; Gao Yang gestured, lowering his voice: "Withdraw, failed, quickly get out!"
Eileen asked urgently: "What about Rafael?"
Gao Yang replied quietly: "As long as Rafael hasn’t made a move, he’s fine; if we stay, we’re finished, retreat quickly!"
Raising a hand and ensuring everyone on the ground, dead or alive, received a follow-up shot to aid Li Jinfang in swiftly clearing the field and ensuring no one was left alive, Gao Yang signaled, and the four of them swiftly headed towards the busy street.
From start to finish, the entire battle didn’t exceed two minutes.
As Gao Yang and the others ran, the call connected, and Gao Yang urgently said: "Report the situation!"
Phoenix replied urgently: "Enemies are moving from this hotel towards you in large numbers! Rapidly evacuate! The target is leaving the stadium under guard, Skunk hasn’t moved, safe."
Gao Yang urgently responded: "Understood!"
Phoenix continued: "Escape towards the stadium, the enemies aren’t attempting interception. Support is notified; should they extract you or forcibly eliminate the target, please instruct."
Gao Yang and the others didn’t have radio, so Phoenix served as an information relay center; Gao Yang urgently replied: "Unless absolutely certain, abandon the target, prioritize evacuation, over!"
