Chapter 762

"How you are a warrior, I’m still shocked. One rule of battle is; never turn your back to an opponent." Grey suddenly scolded the woman as he shook his head in disappointment.

Lifting his hand up, a thick earth wall quickly burst out of the ground between Alba and the beast.

The tongue slammed into the wall and instantly, cracks appeared on the surface but surprisingly, the wall held.

This gave Alba enough reaction time to leap backwards at the right moment because the next second, the wall crumbled down.

The moment it did, another opponent was seen in front of it.

Fenrir!

Lightning swirled around his hands, crackling with lethal intensity then—

BANG—!

He thrust his hands forward unleashing a devastating beam of lightning that shot at the beast with deadly speed.

Strangely, the beast didn’t move for a moment until it suddenly leaped up high into the air dodging the beam at quickly tore a crater into the earth. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

While mid air, the beast’s tongue lashed towards Fenrir who quickly swung his hand sending a lightning bolt into the organ and veering it off course.

The beast let out a pained shriek.

Swooosh—!

Two arrows from Lilly quickly flew overhead launching towards the beast.

But unfortunately, it landed back down before the arrow could connect, the beast had already landed back down.

And the moment its feet touched the ground, it exploded towards Fenrir.

Before it could get close, a shriek from above drew its attention only to see twenty wind swords oribing the air like satellites.

And in one fluid movement, they screamed towards the beast.

Seeing this, the creature quickly curled over making sure its back was facing the weapons and in a flash, the elemental swords connected.

But due to the beast’s spiky back, they were unable to pierce through and only ricocheted off like it was nothing.

Dashing in from the side was Killian. Red sword slashing through the air and sending a fiery slash towards the beast.

But it was all in vain as the slash landed on the beast’s hardened back.

It failed to do damage.

That was when—

"Gotta pay you back for almost killing me." Alba’s voice was heard raging from above.

Glancing up, her swords could be seen crossed in an X shape and without hesitation, she swung them in unison sending a crimson x slash flying towards the beast.

The creature wasted no time in trying to leap away.

Before it could, the ground beneath its feet suddenly turned muddy and it could be seen sinking in.

Turning around, Grey could be seen crouched down with his hands firmly planted on the ground.

The beast clawed desperately as it was being sunk in.

Smashing its claws into the hardened ground in front of it, it tried pulling out when Alba’s slash smashed into its back.

A blast of wind erupted out as the attack tore a deep gash through its back, blood splattered in the air for a moment.

A devilish grin appeared on her face as she landed a metre away from the beast that managed to pull itself out of the sinking mud.

Its red eyes flashed with fury as it stared at the humans in front of it.

For some reason, Grey wasn’t going on the attack yet. He still held his lightning swords in hand.

With a fierce roar, the beast’s tongue shot out, wiggling like a snake and lashed at Alba.

The woman took a firm stance as she bent down in an instant allowing the tongue to fly past her.

"I hope you like hot things though." Grey’s calm voice echoed from behind as he snapped his fingers sending a fireball hurling into the beast’s open mouth.

Booom—!

It detonated causing the beast to roar loudly as it staggered backwards in fiery pain.

This stun gave Fenrir enough time to leap into the air.

Swinging his hand down, a huge lightning sword screamed down and rocketed towards the beast like a meteor.

Sensing the attack through its hazy self, the beast quickly leaped away dodging the attack as it tore a gaping hole through the ground.

The beast and Fenrir stared at themselves for a moment while airborne.

Fenrir was about to attack when the tongue whipped towards him again at lightning speed.

"Shoot."

The tongue was too fast for him to dodge or send a counter attack.

But there was no need to as Alba shot into midair.

With her swords crossed, she swung it unleashing her signature red slash that collided with the tongue.

The attacks fought against eachother strongly as the slash tried tearing through the tongue while the acidic nature from the tongue tried burning through the attack.

There was no winner as both attacks retreated.

Only for the beast to suddenly shoot out spikes from its back like a porcupine would.

That was when Brook finally made his move as he quickly darted forward.

Shield in place blocking the spikes with all his might while his feet went sliding across the ground for a few moment.

Being a stage five warrior, Brook shouldn’t be battling the beast but his advantage he had was his shield hence he was able to block attacks.

And this gave enough time for Fenrir to wrap himself in fierce lightning and pushed off the ground with immense force that a five metres wide crater swiftly yawned open.

He shot forth like a lightning projectile himself moving as fast as light and before the beast knew what was going on, Fenrir smashed himself into the beast with all his might.

A thunderous bang was heard as the ground beneath the duo split open in an instant.

That wasn’t all, the beast was lifted fully from the ground and flung away like a broken doll. Cutting through the air with immense speed that within the blink of an eye, it crashed into a half destroyed structure further crumbling it to the ground like it was nothing.

’Well, I will be damned. I don’t think these guys even need me.’ Grey snarled inwardly as he stared at the scene in front of him.
