Chapter 784

"I will take one. You all hold off the second and keep it off me till I’m free to help!" Mada barked aloud as he held his sword tighter while glaring at the beasts.

Finral scowled immensely before throwing the descendant a glare.

"I don’t remember anyone making you the leader, now did they?"

Liam quickly facepalmed himself at this. An exhale escaping his lips.

"Not today of all days."

But before Mada could actually give Finral a reply, the beasts bolted towards them at incredible speed drawing their thoughts back to the issue at hand.

Without waiting for them, Mada swirled Ki around his feet tightening it around his soles and pressing hard with all his might causing the ground to actually crack.

BANG—!

It actually sounded like a gun was shot out as the descendant exploded forward in a blur of movement crossing the distance between them and the beasts in a split second.

He stared at them briefly as the two paused their charge and quickly directed all attention back at him.

Instantly, claws flashed through the air towards the descendant in front of them ripping through air at blazing speed.

Mada gulped a bit as he stared at the claws closing in on him from both end.

Yet, he steeled himself and with a sharp exhale, he twisted his foot in a quick pivot and then brought his sword in front of one of the beast’s claws while twisting his hand to the opposite side so as to lessen the strain and impact force from the beast.

This move kept his back open for the second beast to hit. Yet, he didn’t pay it more attention as the claws were inches away from striking him.

At that moment, the beast he was facing hit his sword hard and caused him to skid a few inches backwards putting him in a position to get hit by the second beast.

An inch away from actually striking him, a whip elongated into the air and wrapped around the second beast’s claw fully bringing it to a halt albeit with a little struggle that shown on the girl’s face.

The sudden halt of its momentum threw the beast off as its whole body suddenly twisted to the side— away from Mada.

"GO!" Noelle roared through gritted teeth as she was currently pulling as hard as she could.

At her command, the three boys dashed forward grimly.

Their hearts thudding in fear as they didn’t know what they could do again a Divine ranked beast.

Two stage four warriors and a stage three warrior? This will be quite hard.

But still, they steeled themselves and that was because they knew somebody was watching.

They had had enough of getting saved every single time by the same person over and over again. They were sick of being a burden on his shoulders.

Today, it was the day to prove that they were different. That the two months brutal training they endured wasn’t for nothing.

In a few seconds, they were right in front of the beast and together, Finral along with Liam swung their sword attacking the beast’s face.

Simultaneously, Ray’s fist was streaking at full speed towards the beast’s abdomen.

Now it was stuck on whose attack to actually block from the trio while it’s claws were still being restrained by Noelle’s whip.

On the other side, Mada was currently with the first beast.

After being hit and sent skidding backwards, he regained his footing the next second and now, with a loud growl; the beast charged at him like a raging bull.

"One on one eh? This is good." Mada smirked as he channeled ki evenly to his legs and sword.

And it was just at the right moment as the beast emerged in front of him smoothly.

A punch was sent towards Mada’s head at blazing speed.

But with the help of Ki, he pushed off from the ground and darted sideways dodging the punch narrowly.

Before his feet hit the ground, he swung his sword twice in a split second sending invisible slashes of Ki speeding towards the beast.

With claws gleaming eerily, the goat beast didn’t hesitate and charged forward smashing its claws into the slashes and shattering them.

Even though it couldn’t see it, the beast could still sense the attacks in the air.

Mada didn’t lose hope. Infact, the attack was just a mere feint so he could steady his footing which he did.

And the next moment, he sprinted forward— closing the distance between him and the beast in a split second.

Grabbing his sword with two hands, he swung from above with tremendous speed.

The beast didn’t even attempt to dodge or move as it lifted its claws into the air blocking the attack from Mada.

Clang!

Claws met steel in a loud sound that rattled the ground beneath them.

Mada was seen gritting his teeth pouring energy into the sword yet it just succeeded in moving the beast’s hand an inch away.

But that wasn’t enough.

In a blur of movement, the beast’s hoove quickly cut through the air towards the descendant’s abdomen.

Left with no other choice, Mada let his sword go and pushed backwards with all his might dodging the kick by the skin of his teeth.

The beast swung its limbs away sending the sword embedded on it flying away and clattering on the ground.

Mada briefly glanced at the sword for a moment and then back at the beast.

"What the—?"

The incredibly short moment he had taken to glance at his sword, the beast already used it to get in his blind spot in a show of blistering speed.

Sensing the shift in the air, Mada quickly spun around while bringing his hand in front of his face.

But unfortunately, he was unable to coat his hands in Ki fast enough when the kick from the beast came in hot and fast with crushing force that was enough to send his body hurling backwards with tremendous speed.
