Miracle Card Shop: All My Cards Can Be Actualize-Chapter 724: The End
"What!? Danny! Are you crazy!? We can fight him together! Why would you…" Envy protested, but Daniel raised his hand, smiled at her, and slowly shook his head.
"You can't win. Trust me, this guy has the same power as me, and I know what I'm capable of. I don't want anything to happen to any of you," Daniel said as he gently patted both Envy and Tian Xingyun on the head.
Hearing this, Golden Scale smiled. He knew his power could counter anything Envy threw at him. Even if Daniel used a soul contract, Golden Scale believed he could cancel it at any time. He had the power to access the Akashic Records, though it wasn't fully absorbed or complete yet. Still, he was confident he could manipulate the situation to his advantage.
"Fine, let's make a contract," Golden Scale agreed.
Daniel nodded to Envy, signaling her to create a soul contract for him. Envy hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to trust her husband and proceeded to draft the contract. The terms stated that Daniel would help Golden Scale gain more power, while Golden Scale would leave peacefully and never bother them again.
Golden Scale didn't wait and immediately signed the contract. Daniel followed suit. After Envy ensured the contract was properly in place, she retreated, leaving Daniel alone with Golden Scale. She and Tian Xingyun moved to a distance where they could still intervene if anything were to go wrong.
"Now, how are you going to help me?" Golden Scale asked with a smirk.
"Like this…" Daniel replied as he sank his mind into the mindscape and activated a card designed to immediately end Golden Scale.

The dark power rose from Daniel as his connection to the Akashic Records intensified. In his mindscape, Daniel examined Golden Scale once more. He noticed that Golden Scale was surrounded by cards, though Golden Scale himself seemed unaware of their presence. Daniel also detected a power node, which he sensed was the card deck Golden Scale had unknowingly created. As expected, the deck contained about 60 cards, but now only 53 remained, as 6 cards were in Golden Scale's hand and 1 had already been used.
Daniel paid the mana cost for the Staring Deep card using half of the mana vials stored in his universal pocket. Half meant more than a thousand vials. With such an immense amount of mana expended, the power from Golden Scale's deck surged and flowed into him.
"What!? This… this power?" Golden Scale felt the power rising at an alarming rate. Forbidden knowledge, ancient spells not even recorded in the annals of history, and various forms of knowledge that shouldn't exist in the current era flooded his mind.
"Hahahaha! You kept your end of the bargain, Mr. Emberweave!" Golden Scale laughed loudly, reveling in his newfound power. He then used his magic to immediately cancel the contract.
Destroying the contract was child's play for him now—he had unimaginable power and knowledge at his fingertips. The sky darkened, the wind churned, and thunder rumbled in response to the rising power.
Envy noticed the contract cancel itself and immediately knew it was Golden Scale's doing.
"Golden Scale! You!" Envy shouted in anger.
"Hahaha! Envy, your husband is too stupid and naive! Did he really think I couldn't… Huh… what?" Suddenly, Golden Scale felt his mind reeling as the flow of power and knowledge didn't stop.
Worse, his mind felt like a massive balloon overfilled with knowledge, still absorbing incomprehensible information he couldn't process. Whispers began to invade his thoughts, causing his head to ache.
"What?" he uttered in disbelief as the whispers of madness grew louder and louder. His mind reeled, unable to cope. He looked at Daniel, who wore a small smirk on his lips.
"What!? What have you done to me, Emberweave!?" Golden Scale roared, clutching his head. The whispers of incomprehensible knowledge were beyond his tolerance. He felt as though his soul had been ripped apart hundreds or thousands of times, dissected, and then stitched back together. He gritted his teeth as black blood seeped from all his orifices.
"No…" Golden Scale tried to use his power to stop the whispers, but he couldn't. It was like a tsunami crashing through his mind and soul.
"Nooooooooooooo! ARRRRRRRRRRRRGghhhh!" Golden Scale screamed in agony before his mind gave in, and his soul followed suit, crushed by the darkness and the indescribable power of the starry abyss. All that remained was an empty husk, devoid of a soul.
Golden Scale was no more. His soul had been obliterated by the forbidden knowledge that crashed into his mind like a tsunami.
Seeing Golden Scale lying dead, his soul crushed into nothingness with no possibility of resurrection, Envy shuddered. She had no idea what Daniel had done to him.
"What did you do to him?" she asked, unable to hold back her curiosity.
"Nothing much. I just followed the contract. I forced him to open his mind to all the knowledge—no matter what it was—within the Akashic Records. Without any filter, no matter how dangerous it might be," Daniel said, half-truthfully. In reality, he had capitalized on the rules of his game: when a player is unable to draw a card when required, they lose the game.
Daniel glanced at Golden Scale once more. Now he understood what happened in reality when this rule was applied. The thought sent a shiver down his spine. He recalled when he first gained this power and was grateful he hadn't dared to experiment with this rule himself.
As for Envy, hearing Daniel's explanation made her shudder. What kind of place was the Akashic Records? It was a repository of knowledge from the past, present, and future—knowledge that might have been lost, or perhaps didn't even exist yet.
And all of it, vast and unfiltered! At this point… she realized that no matter how strong or powerful Golden Scale was, there was no way he could handle such an overwhelming influx of knowledge. In the end, he died, crushed by the very knowledge he had sought.
"Problem solved. Let's continue our marriage, shall we?" Daniel said with a smile.
Envy and Tian Xingyun nodded and followed their husband back to the venue. This would mark the beginning of their new life together.
At the entrance, Albert Worseley also shuddered when he saw Golden Scale's soulless body. He vowed to himself never to get on the bad side of his lord, or else one day he might be outmaneuvered to death, just as Golden Scale had been. He noticed that his lord had never broken the contract while dealing with Golden Scale… a realization that added a new level of terror toward his lord.
Albert quickly cooperated with Vlad and Daniel's subordinates to clean up the mess Golden Scale had left behind.
At the wedding, Daniel stood in front of Christopher Ward, who presided over the ceremony as the priest. Christopher's role earned a stern glare from Maria, though he tried to hide his disdain for her and maintained a poker face as he spoke.
"Will you, Daniel Emberweave, take Lady Michaela, Lady Claudia (Envy), Lady Victoria (Greed), Lady Seraphina (Pride), Lady Tian Xingyun, Lady Koyuki, Lady Penthesilea, and Lady Maria to be your wives, to live together in the covenant of marriage? Will you love them, comfort them, honor and keep them, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful to them, so long as you all shall live?"
"Yes, I will," Daniel nodded, then looked at his wives.
Christopher was about to continue, but Envy spoke first. "Yes, we will. We will love him and only him… until death do us part. Right, everyone?" Envy asked, turning to the others lined up beside Daniel, who smiled awkwardly.
Christopher could only frown at Envy's theatrics, but he had no choice but to continue.
"Now, place these rings on their fingers as a symbol of your love and commitment," Christopher said, opening a long box to reveal eight rings, each with a unique design.
Daniel quickly placed the rings on each of his wives' ring fingers. In return, he received rings from them, though his were in the form of amulets. These amulets contained a part of their essence, just as the rings Daniel had made for them did.
"Next is the kiss, right?" Mordred blurted out, asking Sylvana, who was watching from below the stage with a wry smile.
Hearing the word "kiss," Michaela and Pride's faces flushed red, while the others managed to maintain their composure. Daniel kissed each of his brides and whispered something in their ears, earning playful slaps on his shoulder and causing their faces to blush even more. Christopher fake-coughed to break the moment.
"You! Meanie!" Koyuki pinched Daniel's face, making him wince.
Meanwhile, Envy wore a mischievous smile. "We'll see if you can move tonight," she whispered into Daniel's ear, much to his dismay. He realized he shouldn't have played with fire.
