Mommy Wolf: Raise A Cub, Claimed By His Beast Daddy-Chapter 191: The Trio Faeries’ Journey to the North! (I)
"Good, because you have a lot more to do as the Beast King than worry over nonsense," Sisi said before she took a step back and returned to Jojo’s side.
She picked up her half-finished needlework, dragged a chair to sit right next to the obedient wolf boy, and started working on it again.
Kael was still in his kneeling position, staring at Sisi, who was busy with her needlework, and couldn’t help but ask, "What are you making, Sisi?"
"Daddy, you shouldn’t ask that!" Jojo suddenly interrupted. "Sisi said it’s a surprise gift for us!"
Kael’s brows raised. "Really? Now I’m even more curious."
"Well, you should stay curious until I’m done with it. I think it should be done in a week if I don’t get interrupted too often with all the stuff happening in the palace," Sisi said.
She glanced at Kael, who looked guilty, knowing that he caused most of those disturbances anyway.
"You should carry Jojo for a walk around the pavilion while I’m finishing my work," Sisi suggested. "Being stared at while working makes me a little nervous. I might accidentally prick my finger because of it."
Kael’s breath hitched. Of course, he didn’t want Sisi to get hurt.
So he picked Jojo up and carried him out of the pavilion for a walk.
Jojo was sulking when he got separated from his Sisi, which amused Kael so much, because it showed that the boy was completely biased toward her.
"Why are you sulking when you’re with me? Don’t you love me too?"
"I love you, Daddy," Jojo replied. "But I love Sisi a little more!"
"Pffth—ahahaha!" Kael laughed heartily when he heard that. "At least you’re honest about it."
"You’re not mad?" Jojo asked.
"Why would I be? She is going to be your mother anyway," Kael smiled. "I just need a bit more time to make her warm up to me."
Jojo had always supported the idea, since having Sisi as his Mommy was truly a dream come true!
Thus, he hugged his father’s neck and said, "Daddy, Jojo will work with you, so Sisi will like you!"

"Tutu, Dodo, let’s go!" Jan Keke shouted as she was the first to climb a big rock to get a better view of the surrounding meadow.
"Urgh—Dodo, you are so heavyyyy!" Crush Tutu complained as she tried to push her friend to continue climbing.
Bold Dodo might be strong, but his wings were small compared to the size of his body, so he couldn’t fly fast nor climb quickly like Jan Keke.
But he had been their protector all this time during their journey. With his strength, he could fight against insects and small animals who wanted to eat them!
Jan Keke finally climbed down and helped Tutu push Dodo up, and once they were all sitting at the top of the big rock, they rested for a good while, catching their breaths after pushing the heavy Dodo.
Spring had come, so the temperature wasn’t as cold as before. But it was still chilly, even for faeries.
So they often found tree bark to rest on to replenish their energy.
Their trip had been quite slow, but at least they didn’t have to rush because they hadn’t seen any faerie soldiers from General Gugu’s troops searching for them.
"Tutu, can you imagine your grandfather’s reaction when he reads your letter?" Jan Keke asked.
"Probably anger, and um... worry," Crush Tutu imagined. She felt a little sad, but it was a journey she had to take to find their darling.
"Do you think they are angry at us?" Bold Dodo asked. "How come no one is chasing after us?"
"I think they mistook our route. They probably think we’re going south or east, where the temperature is warmer. But we’re going north instead," Keke assumed. "I just hope we can find our darling as soon as possible, so we can go home with good news."
"My grandpa would punish me, for sure," Tutu said. "But it’s okay. As long as we find the Darling of the Earth, we can go home without too much punishment."
"But are you sure that we should continue going north? It’s really cold," Jan Keke asked.
"I think we should. Um, you know that I inherited some of my grandpa’s power to sense changes in the plants around us, right?" Crush Tutu explained. "I can sense someone is manipulating the plants from the north. So it must be her!"
"But what if it’s just a witch?" Dodo asked.
"Then she must be a super powerful witch!" Tutu stated. "But it’s okay. We can continue searching for her."
"Besides, we’ve been following the trail of plant manipulation from our home in the faerie land up to here. There’s no way a witch can be powerful enough to use it every day, right?"
Jan Keke and Bold Dodo nodded.
They had heard stories about witches who could manipulate plants from their elders, but they weren’t really great at doing it because plants were nature’s forces, and to control nature’s forces required being blessed by the ancient Grandma Tree itself.
These plants might look fragile because they were inanimate objects that couldn’t defend themselves, but those who could control them had almost unlimited scaling in power.
Crush Tutu had the blessing to sense unnatural changes in plants around them and had been following the trace north.
Though their search had been in vain so far, they didn’t want to give up, especially now that Tutu sensed even greater changes in the plants a bit north of their current location.
Jan Keke was the one with the best exploration skills, alongside amazing eyesight that helped her see things from afar.
"Keke, I sense a great change in the plants north of our location. Can you scout?"
"Sure!"
After finishing their rest, she flew up first and stared toward the direction that Crush Tutu pointed.
She squinted and focused her gaze, then gasped when she saw something incredible!
"Tutu! Dodo! I saw something!"
