Chapter 506: 492, but, I can’t bear to part with you_1
How wonderful it would be if it could always be like this!
In the afternoon, Jian Luo couldn’t stay in the ward anymore.
Black Jack reluctantly let him sit in a wheelchair, taking him outside to enjoy the sunlight.
Thankfully this hospital is a private establishment, so it’s not particularly crowded.
On the lawn, aside from the occasional passing nurse, there were only the two of them.
“Black Jack, I want some chocolate.”
His mouth was full of the taste of medicine and for some reason, he started craving his chocolates.
“When you’re better, I’ll buy some for you.”
He crouched in front of him, raising his hand to touch the wound on his forehead.
“Does it hurt?”
Jian Luo smiled faintly, “It doesn’t hurt anymore. I just accidentally fell off the bed and hit the bedside table, it’s a minor injury, no big deal.”
“Do you think you’re stupid or not?” Black Jack covered his hand with his own, the cold palm making Luo frown.
“Okay, I’m stupid, and you’re smart, are you happy?” Jian Luo said crankily.
“Why are your hands so cold even though you’re wearing so much?” He said, taking off his jacket and draping it over him.
“There’s no need for that. You’ve already given me a scarf. Keep the jacket yourself, what will you do if you catch a cold?” Jian Luo looked at his woolen sweater and frowned.
“No matter how much I wear, my palms are always slightly cold, you should know that.”
Black Jack held on to his hand, not allowing him to remove the jacket. “Behave, wear it. I’m not like you, I don’t catch colds easily.”
“…”

He despised him again.
“Black Jack, where is your phone?”
Black Jack, “What’s it for?”
“Give it to me.” Jian Luo reached out his hand and said.
Without asking any more questions, Black Jack directly took out his phone and gave it to him.
Jian Luo switched on the phone, realising he needed to enter a password.
“What’s the password?”
“It’s your birthday.” Black Jack responded.
After entering the password, a hint of a smile flashed through Jian Luo’s eyes.
“Come over here.”
He beckoned him with his finger, calling him over.
Black Jack looked at him puzzledly but complied with his demand nevertheless.
“You’re too tall, bend down.” He commanded.
Black Jack found it amusing but he still complied and leaned over.
Suddenly, Jian Luo stretched out his hand, hooked it around his neck, and leaned up to kiss him.
Black Jack momentarily froze, seemingly taken aback by this sudden move.
“Click” went the phone as the flashlight illuminated the area for a moment.
Done!
Jian Luo let go of him and looked at the picture on the phone.
Black Jack looked down at his slightly reddened earlobe, smiling fondly. This was the first time Jian Luo had taken the initiative to kiss him.
“Luo Xiaobai, you’ve become bold after a short period of not seeing each other.”
Jian Luo turned off the phone and threw it back to him.
“You’re allowed to kiss me without my consent but I can’t return the favour?”
“Of course, you can.” Black Jack catches his phone and pinched his cheek.
If he could kiss him, it would be a wish come true.
“Let’s go back. Grandpa and the rest should be on their way.” Jian Luo said.
Black Jack’s smile faded. He bent down, held his face in his hands, and dropped a kiss on his forehead.
“Jian Luo, I won’t give up on you and you’re also not allowed to give up on me.”
Jian Luo raised his face with a faint smile and agreed.
When they returned to the ward, the old man Luo and Mo Xiao were already waiting inside.
“Grandpa, dad!”
“Old man Jian, Uncle!”
Mo Xiao stepped forward and put his hand on Jian Luo’s forehead, “Do you still feel unwell anywhere?”
“No, I’m fine. I’m sorry for causing you guys to worry.”
“Luo Luo, why didn’t you say anything when you didn’t feel well last night? If it wasn’t for your dad who happened to come looking for you in your room, the consequences could have been dire.” Old man Luo placed his burly hand on Jian Luo’s head, teaching him a lesson with a serious tone.
“Grandpa, I’ll be careful next time.” Jian Luo curled his mouth into a smile.
“Old man Qin, have the discharge procedures been completed?”
As soon as Old man Jian’s words were spoken, both Black Jack and Jian Luo went stiff.
“They are done.” Uncle Qin responded.
Jian Luo lowered his head, the smile on the corner of his mouth containing a trace of bitterness.
Would they be separated so quickly?
Would he have to see him through the chillingly cold phone every day again?
Old man Jian took a sweep at the two, hardening his heart he said, “Black Jack, you should go back first. Luo Luo will go back with us to the Manor.”
Black Jack simply hummed, gazing at Jian Luo.
On the way out of the hospital, Black Jack stayed by Jian Luo’s side. Even with Jian Luo’s pallid complexion, Old Man Luo turned a blind eye.
There were two cars waiting at the hospital entrance.
Uncle Qin help Old man Luo get in one car while Jian Luo and Mo Xiao get into another one.
Jian Luo took a glance at Black Jack, then turned to Mo Xiao, his eyes full of hope, “Dad, can we have two minutes?”
Mo Xiao glanced at the pair of them and finally agreed.
“Your illness hasn’t completely healed, don’t stay outside in the wind for too long.”
After he finished speaking, he got into the car by himself.
“Luo Xiaobai, take good care of yourself and don’t fall sick again.” Black Jack hid the reluctance in his eyes, reached out his hand to rub his head and ordered.
Jian Luo nodded, feeling a little sour in the nose.
“But, I’m going to miss you.”
His voice was extremely soft.
Once they parted, he feared it would be a long time before they could meet again.
Black Jack’s hand clenched tightly, forcefully suppressing the urge to take him with him.
He stretched out his hand and caught his arm, pulling him into his arms.
“Luo Xiaobai, it’s your turn to leave a mark on me.” He whispered into his ear with a hoarse voice.
Jian Luo’s bright eyes moistened, he turned his head and pressed his cherry- pink lips onto the base of his neck, biting him.
The slight prickling sensation from his neck emerged but Black Jack found himself laughing.
He held onto his hand, gripping it tightly.
“Get into the car now, I’ll watch you go.”
Jian Luo took a look at the evident teeth marks on his neck, blinked; the water in his eyes almost seeping out.
Black Jack pulled open the car door for Jian Luo. As he got into the car and closed the door,
“Bang—”
Jian Luo rolled down the window and reached out his hand to grab Black Jack’s jacket.
“Jian Luo!”
Black Jack looked down at the hand that was holding his shirt, his heart ached a little.
Mo Xiao glanced at the both of them, then turned away.
“Let’s go.”
A tight sensation swept over Jian Luo’s heart, his vision blurring with tears.
Black Jack held onto his hand while the car ruthlessly pulled away.
In that moment, their clutched hands were separated.
“Luo Xiaobai, do well.”
Black Jack lowered his head to look at the missing button on his jacket. His soft-spoken words faded into the cold air.
Inside the car, Jian Luo lowered his head to look at the button in his palm, looking a bit desolate.
Mo Xiao glanced at him, sighing quietly.
“Luo Luo, do you really like him that much?”
This was the first time Mo Xiao prematurely brought up the matter with him.
Jian Luo spoke in a choked up voice, “He is different to me.”
“Luo Luo, have you ever thought that maybe your feelings for Black Jack stem from childhood habits and dependency, and not the kind of feelings you think it is?” Mo Xiao said.
