A month had passed since an unknown blinding light enveloped the entirety of the New World. Since then, a substantial thing had occurred in the very essence of humanity.

It was a historic change, as though reality itself had been altered.

In the Dominion Enclave at the center of the New World, Damien rested upon his throne with a cold expression plastered on his face.

Before him were the five Heavenly Generals, his smartest and most strategic monsters. All of them bowed their heads as Nexus stepped forward and reported the situation outside the Dominion.

"Lord Oberon, our suspicions have been confirmed."

"The Federation and the Clan have forgotten your identity as a member of the SIGIL Seventh Division."

Hearing his words, Damien's frown deepened even further. When that blinding light enveloped all of them. He found himself teleported out of the Federation.

When he tried to return, he was met with hostility. Some even tried to kill him. The situation alone was astounding, but fortunately, he managed to withdraw without causing a messier scene.

"What about my companions?"

He questioned, wanting to know about what happened to them. As someone who was labeled as the greatest threat of the New World, it was difficult to move himself or his forces without attracting attention.

"Miss Alastair and Miss Francine have become the Twin Vanguards of the Federation, the sovereigns of humanity."

"On the other hand, Miss Hecate has become the progenitor of the Clan."

The answer made him sigh in relief and exasperation. At the very least, they were safe. Though he was somewhat worried about his juniors.

"What about Echidna and Hawk?"

"They are working under the Twin Vanguards, Lord Oberon."

Nexus responded with eloquence as Damien felt the weight on his shoulders lightened. Not much had changed, except for his identity and perhaps their memories.

"Our territories include the southern frontier of the Federation and the northern territories of the Clan, right?"

"Indeed, Lord Oberon. Whoever arranged the current status of the world meant for us to become the greatest threat to both humanity and vampirekind."

Nexus nodded in agreement, acknowledging that their hidden adversaries wanted them to be the antagonist of whatever story they conjured.

What was supposed to be the Enclave of Oberon became the Dominion Enclave, becoming the government power that Damien wielded.

These were humans and vampires who considered Damien a god of some sort. Their loyalty bordered on fanaticism.

Alongside a military capable of overpowering both the Federation and the Clan, the safest bet was clear. Instead of trying to clear the imprinted misunderstanding, he could unify the entirety of the New World.

Damien might be playing the games of the bastards outside, but it was the fastest path. Besides, he needed to find a way to meet his companions.

Whether or not they truly lost their memories remained to be seen.

Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to find an answer.

"What those outsiders plan does not matter. If they were capable of altering our minds, they would have done so."

"The fact that they arranged for me to become the strongest adversary of the New World meant that they have no capabilities to control my mind."

"The same could be said of the others. The outsiders must be vying for our cautiousness and distrust with each other."

Damien muttered to himself and glanced at the Heavenly Generals. It was an intriguing name, granted by the population of the Dominion Enclave.

In any case, besides Nexus, there were Yuki, Proton, Etch, and finally... Eclipse. The strongest of the monsters under his command.

Each of them towered over humans, resembling gods more than anything else. It was no wonder that the citizens of the Dominion Enclave worshiped them with fanaticism.

"Yuki, Nexus... I want information regarding the location of my companions. I need them to be up to date." Damien commanded, since he was capable of teleporting large distances with ease.

As long as he could acknowledge where they were, he could merely show up and test the truth for himself.

Hearing the orders of their great lord, both Nexus and Yuki bowed, responding simultaneously. Their words were reverent. "It shall be done, Lord Oberon."

"On the other hand, the remaining three Heavenly Generals will prepare for the military for an invasion. Regardless of the current state of the New World, the outsiders would soon reach our shores."

"If swift unification grants us the ability to stand united under one banner in the quickest time possible, we shall do so." Damien felt his gaze narrow.

He wasn't as naive as he was before. He understood that the fastest way to cooperation was force. After all, they didn't have the luxury of time.

There could be days or weeks before the outsiders' landfall in the New World. Once they made their first step, it would be either the elimination of those bastards or the extinction of both humanity and the vampires.

As the Heavenly Generals were disbanded from the throne hall, Damien was left alone, reminiscing about when he had fought against the progenitor who was in the same position as him.

Even though it had only been months since then, the changes this week alone were something that should have occurred in an entire year.

Yet it was all instantaneous.

As if reality had been altered with remarkable ease.

"I hope that none of them would lose their memories."

A wry smile was etched on his face as he shook his head in exasperation. His identity as Damien of Block 7 was erased from existence. If he were the same as before, anger would have blinded him.

But since evolving all of his monsters into Five-Stars... His perception of the world had changed, whether for better or worse.

Meanwhile, after the Clan consolidated their power on the island, they expanded outward into the north after the reality-altering light.

While the vampires had lost their progenitor, a crimson-haired girl rested on his throne. A cold glint escaped from her velvet eyes as it became tinged with gold.

"Those bastards..."
