Since Alastair returned from the fourth-dimensional prison, Tesseract. The turbulence that the Federation had confronted for a couple of months had finally subsided.

The assurance brought about by the strongest of humanity, the Seventh Paragon, wasn't to be underestimated.

Now that the New World was stabilizing, Damien stood within the assembly room of the White House, gazing upon the higher echelons of the Federation and the Paragons of SIGIL.

Why was he standing before them?

Well, the answer was simple.

A disastrous wave of catastrophe was hurling towards the shores of the New World. It wasn't something they could ignore, for it was a threat beyond the realms of normal.

Even Alastair, the strongest of humanity, sat amongst them. She was already aware of the existence of those outside. The true overlords of the current era.

The reason why a temporary peace was established between the Federation and the Clan was power.

The combined strength of the White Devil and the Vampire Progenitor was enough to quell those outside. If they stood alone, those outside would start making way to their shores.

"I believe that all of you are aware of Aberrants..." Damien spoke to everyone in the assembly room, who nodded in agreement. After all, an Aberrant was standing in front of them.

"The Aberrants who long ago walked around the New World were strong, capable of erasing cities from the map in mere hours."

"If it wasn't for the Seventh Paragon hunting them down, no clear borders would have been made."

"But regardless of how powerful those Aberrants were, they weren't the strongest in this reality. Those abominations were but a mere figment of the ones who stood in the summit of existence."

"I call them the Exalted Aberrants. The destroyer of the worlds, the true cause of Heaven's Fall." Hearing his words, gasps escaped the lips of some within the assembly room.

"I don't know if any of you are aware. Some of you were old enough to remember the Old World, even if not so clearly."

"Humanity outside the New World didn't perish when the black towers descended from the heavens. Instead, they went extinct because alongside the disaster was the descent of the Exalted Aberrants."

"From what I know, humanity fought until the end. The continent of Africa became a dark land filled with craters and ridges caused by the resistance of humankind."

"Billions of lives were lost beyond the two oceans of ours... Yet the flicker of courage and resistance has never faded from the candle of humanity."

"So, I'll say three words."

"They are coming..."

"With the collapse of the Clan, a power vacuum was established. Its effects echoed throughout the world, and the outsiders are about to besiege our shores."

"A resistance must be made. For the sake of humankind and the future." Damien halted his speech and stepped down from the podium.

Naturally, it wasn't written by him but was scripted by Proton instead. It tugged the hearts where it needed, and some even forgot that Damien wasn't a human.

As an eerie silence pervaded the assembly room, one of the higher echelons belonging to the Federation finally spoke up.

"Is this all true, Miss Alastair?" Everyone looked at the gorgeous silver-haired lady sitting amongst the Paragons of SIGIL. Her eyebrows rose as she nodded.

"I don't know much about the outsiders, but the progenitor and I did notice their existence when we fought to the death during the Revolution."

"Because of the unknown existence that devoured the world outside, we divided the New World into the upper half and lower half." Alastair lacked information, but she had some experience.

Gasps echoed throughout the assembly room as cold sweat dripped from everyone's forehead. Even the Paragons weren't safe from the dread permeating from every corner.

But Damien remained calm. The same could be said of Alastair, Francine, and Hecate. There was nothing to fear, for they weren't fighting such a threat alone.

He glanced at his status display for the first time in a couple of days. Most of his time had been spent preparing for the meeting in the assembly room.

Especially when it was about the matters of the Aberrants.
