Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 460 - 459
Claire Sullivan pleaded with Mr. Sterling to no avail, and she could only leave. On her way back, the wound on her back reopened, and combined with being drenched by the rain, she felt faint after walking just a few steps.
Over twenty years ago, after giving birth, she got caught in the rain and caught a chill, which worsened her health dramatically. Although she had been meticulously caring for herself over the years, her health was still fundamentally compromised.
When she couldn’t hold on any longer, Felix Lockwood, who came looking for her, hurriedly took her back to the hospital.
On one side, Claire Sullivan returned to the hospital with a fever and was given an IV drip, continuously calling out Serena Sullivan’s name in her dreams, while on the other side, Ethan Grant was desperately searching for news of Serena Sullivan.
He immediately called Carter Lockwood and Julian Ford, without mentioning Serena Sullivan’s physical condition, briefly telling them about Serena Sullivan’s disappearance.
The Lockwood Family and The Ford Family are top families in Solaria, and with these two involved, they could find Serena Sullivan more quickly.
Both of them knew Serena Sullivan’s importance to Ethan Grant, and upon hearing of Serena’s disappearance, they didn’t ask for reasons, directly instructing their people to search Solaria extensively.
Serena Sullivan is different from others; crippled, she has even less ability to protect herself.
They would definitely find her, but the sooner the better.
Serena Sullivan’s condition is such that every minute counts.
While Ethan Grant was outside looking for Serena Sullivan, Sister Ann called, saying she found a letter in the hospital room.
No questions asked, he knew Serena left it for him.
Serena left on her own, and Ethan Grant thought there might be some clue in that letter, so he rushed back to the hospital.
Upon returning to the hospital, the rain had almost stopped, the wind was blowing fiercely, still very cold. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Ethan Grant hurriedly went upstairs, exited the elevator, and walked briskly towards the hospital room, where he saw two women standing at the door.
"Ethan!"
At this critical moment, Renee Grant unexpectedly showed up.
And someone was following behind Renee Grant.
"I heard Serena disappeared."
Renee Grant asked with suppressed mirth.
Felicity Sterling called her about Serena Sullivan’s disappearance, and she laughed at home out of delight.
Finally, something happened to Serena Sullivan, that cripple. Best if she’s never found, best if she died outside.
Ethan Grant didn’t have time for Renee Grant; he walked briskly past the two and entered the room.
Inside the room, Sister Ann was holding the letter waiting.
"Sir, I found it while tidying the bed."
"It’s from Madam to you."
Sister Ann handed over the letter, her eyes reddened. After Serena Sullivan disappeared, she felt deeply guilty, believing she hadn’t taken good care of Serena, thus allowing her to slip away.
Afraid Serena would come back, she waited in the room.
Later, unable to stay idle, she tidied the room and found the letter under the pillow.
"Alright!"
Ethan Grant responded, his fingers trembling as he saw "Ethan" written on the envelope.
"Sister Ann, please leave."
Sister Ann wiped away her tears and walked out. At the doorway, she saw Renee Grant and Felicity Sterling and paused for a moment.
Madam disappeared, everyone was anxious and restless, yet some still found time to come!
"Ethan!"
Standing at the door, Renee Grant saw Ethan Grant leaving herself and Miss Sterling outside; she unhappily said, "Miss Sterling is here to help!"
Inside, Ethan Grant suppressed his chaotic thoughts, turned to look at the insistent Renee Grant, but before he could respond, Renee Grant pushed the bodyguard’s hand away and charged inside.
These guard dogs dared to block her!
Couldn’t they see the person beside her was Miss Sterling?
Renee Grant was furious at the blind bodyguard.
