"Damn it!" Lin Yu cursed, a wave of despair surging in his heart. The black-clothed men behind them were closing in, their footsteps sounding like the call of death, growing clearer by the second.

"Let's fight!" Shen Jingqi roared, turning to prepare for a life-and-death struggle with the black-clothed men. Lin Yu and Li Baiyu swiftly stood beside him, assuming a fighting stance.

The black-clothed men slowly surrounded them, their faces covered with black cloth, leaving only pairs of cold and cruel eyes exposed. "The Crystal Ball? What do you intend to do with it?" Lin Yu questioned loudly, growing more curious about the Crystal Ball's secret.

The leader of the black-clothed men slightly curled his lips, revealing a faint mysterious smile: "You don't need to know that. Hand it over obediently, and you'll suffer less."

"In your dreams!" Shen Jingqi glared angrily, gripping his weapon even tighter.

A fierce battle erupted instantly. Lin Yu wielded his long sword, engaging in a deadly fight with the black-clothed men. His swordsmanship was sharp, each strike accompanied by the sound of slicing through the air, but the number of black-clothed men was overwhelming, and he gradually felt powerless. Shen Jingqi, using his strong physique and superb fighting skills, engaged in close combat with the black-clothed men, fists and feet clashing, the sound of battle deafening. Li Baiyu moved nimbly among them, taking advantage of his agility to seek out the enemies' weaknesses.

The three of them dashed toward the depths of the dead-end, ignoring everything else. The black-clothed men were caught off guard by their move, momentarily stunned. During their brief stupor, the three had already reached the end of the dead-end.

At the end was a stone wall, seemingly devoid of exits. Lin Yu didn't hesitate, feeling around on the stone wall. Suddenly, his hand touched a loose stone. He pressed it hard, and with a rumble, the stone wall slowly opened, revealing a narrow passage.

"Quick, get inside!" shouted Lin Yu, leading the charge into the passage. Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu followed closely. The black-clothed men snapped back to reality and gave chase, but the stone wall closed slowly behind them, temporarily blocking them outside.

The three raced through the passage. The darkness was impenetrable, and they couldn't see their hands in front of them. They advanced by feeling their way, unsure of how long they had run, until they finally saw a glimmer of light ahead.

"An exit!" Li Baiyu exclaimed excitedly. They quickened their pace, rushing towards the light. Emerging from the passage, they found themselves in an unfamiliar place. It was a dense forest, with sunlight filtering through the leaves and creating mottled patterns of light on the ground.

"Where are we?" Shen Jingqi asked, panting heavily.

Lin Yu shook his head, "I don't know, but at least we've temporarily shaken off those black-clothed men."

Li Baiyu surveyed the surroundings, frowning, "We need to quickly find the other companions and uncover the secret of the Crystal Ball, to thwart the mysterious organization's plot."

While the three were speaking, a deep roar echoed from the depths of the forest. The sound seemed to emanate from Hell, sending chills down their spines.

"What is that sound?" Shen Jingqi asked, gripping his weapon more tightly.

Lin Yu pricked up his ears, listening closely: "It sounds like some kind of beast, but it doesn't feel like an ordinary one."

"We must be careful; there might be more significant dangers lurking in this forest," Li Baiyu whispered, a hint of worry in his eyes.

The three cautiously moved towards the source of the sound. As they approached, the roars became clearer, and the ground began to tremble slightly. Finally, they arrived at a clearing, and what they saw left them astonished.

A colossal monster stood before them. Its body was like a mountain, covered in black scales emanating a cold aura. Its eyes blazed like flames, revealing ferocity and cruelty. The monster's mouth gaped wide, exposing sharp fangs, the roaring emanating from its maw.

"What is that thing!" Shen Jingqi shouted in terror.

Lin Yu's heart was also filled with fear, but he knew they couldn't retreat now. "Everyone be careful, attack together!" Lin Yu shouted, leading the charge towards the monster. Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu mustered the courage to follow him.

Lin Yu swung his long sword towards the monster's legs. However, the monster's scales were incredibly tough, the sword's impact only creating sparks, unable to inflict any harm. The monster angrily lifted its foot to stomp on Lin Yu. He quickly dodged to the side, evading the blow.

Seizing the opportunity, Shen Jingqi rushed to the monster's back, delivering a powerful punch. But the monster merely shook its body, unfazed. Turning, it swiped its gigantic claw at Shen Jingqi. Caught off guard, Shen Jingqi was struck and sent flying, crashing to the ground heavily.

"Shen Jingqi!" Li Baiyu cried out in alarm, rushing over to check his injuries. Lin Yu's heart sank; he realized the monster was stronger than they had imagined.

At that moment, the monster suddenly charged towards Li Baiyu. He reacted too slowly and was about to be trampled. Lin Yu, anxious, mustered all his strength, charging at the monster, concentrating all his power into the long sword, and aimed for its eye.

The monster seemed to sense the danger and quickly jerked its head, dodging Lin Yu's attack. But his sword still grazed its cheek, leaving a bloodied mark. The monster howled in fury, leaving Li Baiyu, and turned to lunge at Lin Yu.

Momentarily startled by the monster's might, Lin Yu froze. At this critical moment, Shen Jingqi struggled to his feet, picked up a large stone from the ground, and hurled it with all his might at the monster's head. The stone struck heavily, causing the monster to wince and sway.

Lin Yu took the opportunity to roll sideways, evading the monster's assault. The three stood back-to-back, remaining vigilant of the monster.

Then, they charged the monster again. Lin Yu grabbed its attention while Shen Jingqi and Li Baiyu sought opportunities to strike.

After an intense battle, the three finally saw their chance. Li Baiyu deftly circled behind the monster, waiting for it to open its mouth to roar, and thrust a dagger deep into it. The monster let out a pained wail, its body shaking violently.
