’Alright, let’s check it out,’ Aaron swiftly turned around on his bed to take a look at his status and the activity log of all the notifications he had received during the battle.

[Congratulations to the host, Glimmer has evolved from a Glimmerfox to a Fire Kitsune.]

[Glimmer’s evolution has consumed a massive amount of 50 bond energy points.]

[You’re currently left with 20 bond energy points.]

[Glimmer’s loyalty has also risen to 60%.]

[For this, you have received an additional 10 bond energy points.]

[The host’s cumulative bond energy points are now 30 bond energy points.]

[Also, your Fire Kitsune has unlocked three new skills {Fire ball}, {Inferno Strike}, and {Flame Wrap}.]

[The host has also obtained three new skills {Fire ball}, {Inferno Strike}, and {Flame Wrap}.]

’Woah, three new skills?’ Aaron said, his surprise expressed in his tone.

He knew he had obtained a couple of skills from Glimmer’s new evolved state, but he hadn’t expected to get up to three skills.

At the time, he couldn’t check it out because of the demonic beasts he was battling against, but now that he knew the exact number of skills he had obtained, Aaron could barely contain the excitement that was welling up in him.

Still, he continued to find out more information on the skills he had obtained.

[Would you like to check out the details of your newly acquired skills?]

’Yes,’ Aaron replied and a new screen popped up in front of him.

[Fire ball:- This skill allows you to launch small or large orbs of fire which would then explode on impact once it reaches the target.]

[Inferno Strike:- This skill allows the host to release a wide wave of fire in front of him, which is hot enough to burn his enemies to a crisp.]

[Flame Wrap:- With this skill, the host can now ignite himself and his enemies in flames. When activated, the host will be coated in flames, allowing him to move and attack faster while leaving a trail of fire behind. However, all enemies affected by this skill will be burnt until there’s nothing left of them.]

Aaron was left speechless by the details of the skills displayed before him. Out of the three skills he had obtained, Aaron had only used the {Flame Wrap} skill and he had used the skill to ignite the skull crusher in flames, but he hadn’t known the full capabilities of the skill until now.

’I guess I’ll have to carry out a few training sessions to improve my utility of the skill.’

’I wonder how Glimmer would feel about training with me,’ He thought to himself then turned to his side to see Glimmer curled up on his bed.

After the intense battle today, his cute little fox was so exhausted and she couldn’t help but fall asleep the moment she rested on his bed.

Aaron smiled before patting her gently on the back, however, a new screen popped up in front of him.

[Congratulations to the host, Thunderhoof’s loyalty has risen to 30%.]

[You have received an additional 10 bond energy points.]

[Your cumulative bond energy points are now 40 bond energy points.]

[Thunderhoof has also unlocked a new skill {Chain Lightning}.]

[The host has also obtained the skill {Chain Lightning}.]

[Would you like to take a look at the details of your newly acquired skill?]

’Yes.’

[Chain Lightning:- This skill allows you to create a lightning bolt that leaps from one enemy to another within a limited radius.]

Aaron’s eyes widened in surprise right after he read the details of the new skill he had acquired, but before he could completely assimilate everything that had happened to him so far, a new screen popped up in front of him.

[Aside from the new abilities the host has obtained thanks to his {Fusion} skill, the host has also acquired a new personal skill {Absorb}.]

[Absorb:- This skill allows you to absorb the essence of any mana crystal you touch. All absorbed essence increases the level of any elemental skill you have that is associated with that mana crystal.]

’Hmm, so I can absorb the essence of a mana crystal,’ Aaron uttered in his thoughts.

’Also, doing this allows me to increase the level of any elemental skill associated with the mana crystal.’

’This means that if I absorb a red mana crystal, it will automatically increase the level of any fire-based attack skill I have.’

’Sounds easy enough to understand.’

’Let’s give it a try,’ Aaron looked around his room in search of where he dropped the sack of red mana crystals he brought back from the mines.

He noticed the sack on a small round table, so he stood up from his bed and walked over to the table before taking a seat in front of it. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Aaron grabbed a red mana crystal, then he focused his mind on absorbing the mana essence of the crystal.

His hand glowed a bit, and before he knew it, the red crystal was gone, and all that was left were tiny red dust particles.

"Dust?" Aaron uttered out in surprise but the system notification took his mind away from the particles.

[Congratulations to the host, your {Fire ball} skill has leveled up to a level 2 {Fire ball} skill.]

’Woah!’ Aaron exclaimed internally, and he didn’t waste any more seconds before trying out the remaining mana crystals that were still in the sack.

Aaron used the next couple of minutes to absorb as many crystals as possible, hoping that it would be enough to level up his elemental abilities even higher than they were now.

Of course, his elemental abilities leveled up as he had expected them to, but after a while, Aaron noticed that his skills couldn’t level up beyond their current level despite how he had absorbed a lot of red mana crystals, so he decided to stop for the night before he completely absorbed all the crystals he had in his possession without any result.

However, there was now a huge pile of shiny red dust particles in front of him.

He didn’t really see any use for it, so he swiftly poured them into an empty sack with the intention to dispose of it the next morning.

Once he was done, he decided to take a look at his status.
