Chapter 37: 37. Luna Has Created A Mess.

Aurora was just worried that if Aaron could manipulate the elements around him, it might be affecting him by slowly turning him into a beast, hence why she asked with a worried look on her face.

He could see that she was genuinely concerned about his well-being even if her question might have been a bit bizarre, so he cleared his throat and replied honestly.

"I’m fine, Your Highness, and if I do notice anything like that, you’ll definitely be the first to know about it."

Hearing his words and noticing the sincerity behind them, Aurora’s lips spread into a beautiful smile. "Good," She uttered softly before resting comfortably on her seat to drink her tea.

But while the two of them continued to enjoy their tea in silence, a knock was heard once again on Aaron’s bedroom door.

It seems the ladies of this world really found his presence comforting to them.

Aaron mused about the fact to himself but swiftly cleared the thought away just as it had arrived.

"Come in," He said and his bedroom door slowly creaked open. It was Luna this time around, and she was hiding behind the door, almost as though she was contemplating whether to come in or stay where she currently was.

"Good evening, big brother."

"Good evening, Luna, would you like to see me?" He asked, and Luna replied with a nod, but she suddenly noticed Aurora’s presence in the room.

She could see that the elf princess was having tea with her big brother, so she asked, while still hiding behind the door. "Is this a bad time? Am I interrupting something important?"

"No, you’re not. Now, come in," Aaron urged his cute little sister to walk into the room, but Luna still didn’t come in. Instead, she shook her head in response, and Aaron wondered why she would do that.

"Is something wrong, Luna?"

"...." Luna remained silent while staring back at him.

Luna wasn’t trying to be rude to him, it was just that Luna didn’t know how she could let Aaron know what she was about to tell him without him getting mad at her.

Aaron noticed how reluctant his little sister was to speak her mind, and this made him realize that the little munchkin must have done something wrong, hence why she was acting in such a way.

With a sigh escaping his lips, he asked. "Why won’t you come in, is there something you’re not telling me?" Aaron squinted his eyes in reproach as he spoke, and Luna flinched after seeing how unhappy he was and she closed the door a bit more to hide, but a part of her face could still be seen by both Aaron and Aurora.

"Do you promise not to get mad?"

"...." Aaron didn’t say anything. Instead, he chose to remain silent and this made Luna even more scared of revealing what she wanted to say.

"P-pretty please?" She pleaded and Aaron sighed with a calm look on his face. He didn’t want his little sister to feel uncomfortable around him, so he replied. "Fine, I won’t be mad, so tell me what it is."

"Can you come outside, please?"

Aaron did as Luna wanted and Aurora followed him as well.

Luna took the lead and began to explain what had happened so far. "Um, I woke up this morning and came to your room to ask what you would like to eat, but you weren’t answering the door when I knocked, so I walked in to see that you weren’t there, and you weren’t in your bathroom either. So, I decided to wait for you to return from where you went, but while I was waiting, I noticed that you had a small bag of pixie dust lying on your desk."

"Pixie dust?" Aaron wondered what Luna meant by pixie dust because he had never seen anything that looked like...

’Oh,’ Aaron uttered internally when he suddenly realized what Luna was talking about.

Luna was actually talking about the dust particles he had gathered into a sack after absorbing all the essence from the red mana crystals he used last night.

Actually, it was called mana dust and not pixie dust, but because Luna loved how shiny the dust particles were, she decided to call it pixie dust ever since.

"So, what happened to the pixie dust?" He asked, but Luna didn’t say anything, instead, she pointed to the greenhouse in front of them.

Aaron stopped in his tracks when he noticed the huge vines, flowers, and tendrils creeping out from several cracks in the greenhouse’s roof. The glass planes were also trembling as if they could shatter anytime soon because the plants looked like they were still growing and would soon burst out of the building completely.

It was a good thing Luna had closed the door when she noticed how fast the flowers were growing.

"I...I might have used a little bit of pixie dust on the plants. I thought it would help them grow faster...."

"A little?"

"W-well, maybe not a little. I might have sprinkled a lot... like a lot, on all the plants."

"What?!"

"I’m sorry, big brother, the plants looked so hungry and I wanted to help them grow fast, but I didn’t know they would grow so big. I just wanted to help! Please don’t be mad," Luna pleaded once again but Aurora chuckled lightly as she approached Luna and placed a hand on her shoulder. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

"It’s a good thing you closed the door before running over to tell us about this," Aurora tried to cheer Luna up.

"It is?"

"Yes, because it gives me the chance to cast a spell that can help stop the plants from growing more than they are supposed to."

"You mean you can fix this?" Luna asked with her lips slowly widening into a smile.

"Yes, I can. Just give me a minute, and the flowers will return back to how they’re supposed to be."

"Thank you so much, Your Highness, I won’t forget this," Luna tightly wrapped her arms around Aurora’s waist.

She was so glad to hear that Aurora could fix the mess that she had created.

For a while now, Luna had been worried that there might not be a way to fix the mess she had made, but now that Aurora was willing to help her, a huge sigh of relief escaped Luna’s lips.
