My Beast Evolution System-Chapter 58. Blizzard’s Evolution.

The next morning, Aaron found Diana in the training yard, sparring with one of the elven warriors. Her movements were smooth and precise but when she noticed Aaron watching from a distance, she immediately dismissed her opponent and approached him.

"You’ve come to challenge me?" She teased with a smirk on her lips and Aaron played along with her. "Nope, I won’t be doing that because I don’t feel like embarrassing myself today."

"Smart choice," Diana chuckled while sheathing her sword. "So, what brings you here today, Baron?" She asked but Aaron lifted his gaze towards all the other elven warriors who were diligently training and sparring against each other.

"I just wanted to see how things were progressing over here."

"With our recent accomplishments, their morale has been lifted and they can’t wait to venture out again."

"I see."

Aaron and Diana stood in silence for a while and they continued to watch the warriors training in front of them.

They talked a bit more and after a while, Aaron excused himself from the training yard while Diana went back to what she was doing before he had arrived.

Later that afternoon, Aaron noticed Aurora sitting by the garden as she looked at the flowers Luna had planted.

"You alright?" He asked before sitting next to her.

"Yeah," Aurora replied with a sigh. "It felt strange, you know?"

"What do you mean?"

"The Sylvan Glade, the Silvermist Lake; it felt strange seeing what had become of those places after we left our homes."

"I guess so. But we’ve successfully reclaimed them back, and it’s only a matter of time before your kingdom is free from the demonic beasts roaming around it."

Hearing what he said, Aurora looked at him so she could gauge how he would feel once she asked the question on her mind. "Do you really believe we can take back the kingdom?"

Aaron returned her gaze and replied with a steady and determined tone. "I know we can."

Aurora’s lips curved into a smile. She felt relieved to hear his words and she didn’t even know when she opened her mouth to say. "Thank you, Aaron."

The two continued to talk about a few other things before going their separate ways, and later that evening, Aaron decided to spend time with his beasts in the forest.

Glimmer darted playfully through the trees and her fiery tails illuminated the darkening woods around them while Thunder grazed on some grasses nearby and Blizzard sat close to Luna, who decided to tag along to see what her favorite big brother was planning on doing out here in the woods.

Aaron sat close to Blizzard and his little sister, but the little girl was curious about why Aaron would bring his beasts to the forest, just so he could lean on a tree and watch them play with grass.

"Big brother, why are we here?"

"To let the beasts play and have fun in the woods."

"But, aren’t they already having fun in the mansion?"

"They are, Luna, but once in a while they also miss the thrill of being out here in the woods, and that’s why I bring them here to have fun and simply enjoy nature," Aaron explained while stroking Blizzard’s fur and the huge wolf growled contentedly while basking in Luna’s touches as well.

Luna nodded in understanding and decided to enjoy the evening breeze with Aaron and his beasts.

Meanwhile, Glimmer continued to play with Thunder. But after a while, Aaron decided to feed his beasts the mana crystals he brought along with him.

He watched as all three beasts feasted upon the crystals, and while this was happening, Aaron suddenly noticed a system notification pop up in front of him.

Aaron replied and watched as Blizzard’s body glowed while growing larger and more imposing, but then he noticed a new screen popping up in front of him.

[Glacial Spike:- This skill allows the host to summon small and large icicles from the ground, which deal damage to his enemies within a limited range.]

[Frozen Barrier:- This skill allows the host to create a wall of ice to stop not only the movements of his enemies but also their attacks.]
