My Dragon King System-Chapter 305: Waiting No Longer
"Come on, do you not miss me, Uriel?" Samael said with that grin still plastered across his face.
Uriel repeated, "Again, you’re in my way."
Samael ignored the glare she was giving him and began speaking with that same mocking tone. "When I sensed your presence much closer to this human world, I wondered what could Uriel possibly be doing here. Then you suddenly disappeared into that portal and it all made sense."
Samael’s mood dropped into something far more serious then, and his expression hardened.
"I should have known it was you who gave the dragons that lock relic," he said, in a voice that seemed furious. "I always knew you had something for that blue-scaled dragon, but I didn’t know you would directly help them."
Uriel stared him in the eye and said,
"You were too vile a creature, You still are."
Samael’s eyes flared with fury at those words.
"I should strike you down right here for your betrayal," he said through gritted teeth.
Uriel remained calm despite the threat.
"You should know better than to do that," she replied evenly. "Should we ever get into battle, even Michael will no longer be able to ignore you. And you know it."
Samael stared at her in anger for a long moment. What his sibling had just said might very well be the truth.
After all, Ah’Me still possessed relics that could work against him, and he didn’t need that kind of complication right now when he was so close to achieving that goal.
Uriel floated away from his side without another word and flew through space unhindered until she reached a certain distance.
Then she blinked away entirely, disappearing from sight in an instant.
Samael gritted his teeth as he watched her go. The moment she was gone, he immediately opened a portal and returned to Eden.
This portal magic was never meant for long-distance travel, but at the hands of Samael, things had changed.
His power to evolve had also started affecting Rhyos’s power of gateways, making the ability itself evolve as well. Now it could do far more than what it had been capable of when Rhyos wielded it.

Back in what was supposed to be Adam’s throne room in Eden, Samael’s demon generals were gathered and waiting for his return.
Morrigan stepped forward as soon as he materialized through the portal.
"Is it really true?" she asked. "Your angel sibling meeting with the dragons?"
Samael nodded. "Yes," he replied. "I don’t know what she and the dragons have planned now, but Uriel is the craftiest being I know. I will not sit idly by and watch as whatever plan it is she brews up with them play out."
He paused before continuing with finality in his voice.
"Especially since I am unable to reach where the dragons are or where they have taken the gods. Therefore, we will no longer wait on the dragons to make an appearance. We will have to force them out."
Morrigan tilted her head slightly.
"How?" she asked.
Samael’s grin returned then, wider and more devious than before.
"I will let the demons out of the demon realm and onto this forsaken world," he said. "And i’ll do so today."
Morrigan nodded in understanding.
Samael had initially not minded playing the waiting game, especially since it gave him more time for the powers of the gods within him to evolve as well.
Mocles’ power to know life events relating to gods by reading the stars and cosmic bodies was also evolving just as rapidly as Rhyos’s power of gateways had.
He had hoped that when that ability finally peaked, he would be able to use it to discover where the dragons had taken the gods and ambush them there.
But it seemed there was no time left to wait on that either.
Then he stretched his hand out before him, and a large portal circled open in front of him. He walked through it first, and his demon generals followed close behind.
The portal led into the skies at the edge of the demon realm where several demons running into tens of millions had been awaiting so patiently for this very moment.
The demons were nearly uncountable in number, with a lot more still behind the giant gates of the realm itself.
The Demon King floated above them all with his generals positioned at his sides.
He simply spoke in a solemn voice that somehow felt as though every single demon before him could hear it clearly despite the distance and sheer number of them gathered there.
"You will wait to have your revenge no longer."
Large gateway portals opened before the demons, who immediately started running through them en masse like a flood bursting through broken dam walls.
Then Samael turned toward his demon lords specifically and said with cold finality:
"Kill them all."

Today had been one of those days when Laela and Arianna decided to have a relaxing time in a hot bath at some stream not far from Dragonhold.
They had gone with Rin and Aeris, who were all within the pool with them moments ago until just now when they were all fully dressed up and ready to leave after such a nice relaxing time together.
"We’re coming up now," Arianna called out toward Aiden’s avatar standing over the little cliff overhead watching over them from a distance.
Aiden’s time variant had initially watched over them but not directly at them since there were other women aside from Laela and Arianna in the stream as well.
He had looked the other way all this time out of respect for their privacy. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
It was in that moment when they had all gathered toward him that his dragon’s awareness suddenly tingled with immediate danger coursing through every fiber of his being.
This sensation struck at exactly the same point when the Demon King had arrived at the edge of the demon realm connected to the pit in Delheim and opened gateways that started sending those demons out into their world en masse.
