My Dragon King System-Chapter 306: When Demons Flood The Earth

Laela immediately noticed something was wrong by looking at his expression alone.

"What’s going on?" she asked urgently.

But before he could speak or answer her question properly white energy started flowing out of him visibly.

The screens that were appearing before Original Aiden in the Pocket Domain right now also appeared before this time variant here simultaneously.

[Condition has been met]

[The Dragon will now ascend to level of Dragon God]

[Error! Error! Ascension failed!]

[Error! Error! System is experiencing an overload]

[System is going through auto-repair process...70%.. 80%.. Error!]

[The System will go through an auto upgrade to accommodate last authority..90%...99%]

[Upgrade complete - The new upgrade will allow for ascension but this process will take some time]

[Ascension process will now begin.. 1%.. 2%]

Whatever was going on with the Original Aiden and his system was affecting all of Aiden’s variants and avatars across all dimensions simultaneously without exception.

They were beginning to disappear one after another.

The variant realized immediately that his time left with these girls before him was not going to be for long.

And Without so much as giving any further thought whatsoever he snapped his fingers instantly causing all four women to disappear from sight.

The variant disintegrated right after completing that final act!

The ladies appeared within the Pocket Domain with dazed expressions on their faces.

That confusion only worsened when they saw they were now standing before multiple beings; the gods—who were all over a feet taller than they were.

Aeris quickly went down on her knees, bending her head low against the ground in reverence since she recognized they were standing directly before Adam himself.

"This is hardly the time for that, Amazonian," Adam said firmly. "On your feet."

The other women were too dumbfounded to speak properly yet, but their attention was immediately drawn toward a sensation above them within the space of the Pocket Domain itself.

The other gods had been looking toward it as well, even before their arrival.

Arianna immediately turned toward Laela with a troubled look on her face.

"Laela, that’s Aiden," she said.

Laela had a look of concern written across her face as well, totally confused about what was happening.

Thera, who stood behind them, then spoke in a calm tone.

"I take it you both are his wives?"

They immediately turned around and nodded.

Thera continued. "What is happening right now only just began a few moments ago, and even we are unsure what’s happening."

At the space above, they could all see a distinct light. But this light was a translucent orb with what looked like white streaks of lightning and raw energy coursing through it.

Aiden was floating almost motionlessly inside of this orb as his ascension was in progress.

Within his subconscious...

Aiden kept saying desperately, "You have to let me out now, System! The world’s in danger!"

[I apologize, King of Dragons, but this process cannot be stopped or fastened until it is completed]

"No, no, no!" Aiden thrashed about in frustration.

Even from his subconscious state, his awareness was still so high that he could tell the demons had all descended into his world.

He could feel their ravaging minds and the bloodlust behind them, but yet he could not affect them until this process was complete.

He hadn’t realized that Samael would pull a move like this until right after he began the merging process with the Holy Grail.

Then suddenly he stopped as he felt his bond with Laela and Arianna ever so closely.

They were here.

He also felt the space lock and timestop around Lilith and Asahel still holding ever tightly, although for some reason the avatar that had initially stood guard over them had also disappeared.

"Wait, my powers work here!" he said in realization.

Then he sat in the darkness of his subconscious, closing his eyes. He settled into stillness and a meditative posted, with his legs folding beneath him.

Then his eyes reopened with a sudden glow of white light.

And in the moment that happened, he synced his mind with every god in his domain and the minds of his wives and the other ladies inside.

This was his power as the Lord of the Mind Sea.

Then his voice played in their heads all at the same time:

"Samael has just unleashed his army of demons on Earth."

On Earth right now, different kingdoms of the world faced the threat of demons. Whether it was a kingdom in the continent of Valaross or the kingdoms of continents beyond the seas, the devastation was universal.

Large multiple portals opened at different points across the world, and demons rushed out en masse like a plague descending upon every corner of civilization. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Across the Eastern Sea in the kingdom of Za’hor, where red-skinned warriors trained beneath the scorching sun, a portal opened directly before their gates.

The guards at the looked up in horror as massive demons with grotesque forms crashed down.

Far to the southern continent, in the jungle kingdoms of Mbara; where dark-skinned people with intricate tribal markings painted across their bodies lived in harmony with the dense rainforest, portals opened among the towering trees.

A hunting party returning to their village froze as demons emerged from the gateways, with their red eyes glowing in the shadows of the canopy.

The lead hunter, a tall woman with tightly coiled hair and a spear in hand, shouted a warning cry that echoed through the forest. Within moments, warriors emerged from their homes, but the demons were already among them, tearing through their defenses with brutally.

In the coastal trading cities of Mirean, where sailors and merchants from a dozen different lands gathered to exchange goods and stories, chaos erupted as portals opened both on land and above the harbor waters.

Ships rocked violently as demons descended upon them, setting sails ablaze and dragging screaming sailors into the depths.

On the docks, a young boy with tan skin and dark curly hair clung to his mother’s skirts as she tried desperately to push through the panicking crowd. A demon landed directly in their path, its maw opening wide to reveal rows of clawed teeth.

Everywhere across the world, regardless of the color of their skin or the land they called home, humanity faced the same terror.

The Demon King was striking again, and this time he was taking the world completely unawares.
