My Life In A Fantasy, Women-Dominated World-Chapter 62: AMCC
When Eva’s words registered into my mind, I nodded gently.
Simply opening and closing my palm, I could feel a boosted strength coursing through my veins, filling my cells with energy.
’Status.’
[ User: Aaron Cross ]

[ Magic: 100 ]

[ Skills: 1.5 / 5 ]
[ Inventory: 1/1 (Golden Coohen’s Head) ]
For a few seconds, I stayed still.
The amount of things that I could see wrong in the stats was simply... too much.
+20 to all the stats except for my magic?!
And that too passively?!
Instantly, I pressed on the skills tab, eager to know what skill was capable enough to give such a large boon without even taking a whole slot.
[ Skills ( 1.5 / 5 ) ]
[ Skill – Reverse Senses (Active) ]
// Decreases the user’s sensitivity while increasing the target’s sensitivity for 30 seconds. Mana cost: 5 mana. Cooldown: 10 m. //
[ Self-Skill – AMCC ( Passive ) ]
// Automatic Mana Controlled Circulation. Circulates a controlled amount of mana through the host’s body, supporting the physical and mental stats proportionally to the magic. //
// Note: This skill is still in beginner proficiency and the conversion ratio is very unstable. Practice more to improve your proficiency. //
// Current conversion: 20% //
’...’
20% conversion was beginner’s proficiency.
Though, it made sense to me. After all, normal people have normal stats.
If it was a woman in my place, she would have barely got 10-15 magic in her stats, which would have meant an extra 2 or 3 in each stat, but not as ground breaking as mine.
"What’s wrong? Did you awaken a skill?" Eva asked after seeing me stare at the air for far too long.
I flicked my gaze to her, smiling, "Seems like most people can get it too. Mana circulation?"
"Yes but not everyone gets it so fast..." Eva shook her head, her mouth slightly open and mumbling as if she was trying to hide her surprise, "There are still grades to the mana circulation."
"Pray tell."
"There is Manual mana circulation, where the user needs to manually circulate the mana to gain a boost in their stats. It’s pretty bad, since it’s hard to have that much focus in a high stakes fight."
I nodded in understanding.
"Then there’s Semi mana circulation, where the user only needs to kickstart the circulation, typically with some kind of a catalyst to guide their mana autonomously." She pointed at her friends, "Except Lia, all are in semi, and that’s why before the fight they take a small potion or a pill, that highlights the mana pathways for a limited time."
"What about you?"
"I am getting to it." Eva chuckled, "I am in the automatic mana circulation stage. It always circulates inside me, but it’s not controlled, and sometimes it flares up in high stress scenarios. I still need more stats to reach the mana controlled circulation stage."
With a shake of her head, she continued, "But it does grant me a consistent boost in my other stats, so I don’t need to focus as much on them. I am the healer anyway, I don’t need physical stats."
Lia’s eyes opened up, noticing us sitting on the bed and chatting, "Ugh, fucking. Still not enough to control it." she groaned out.
"Heh, your magic is even lower than mine. You think you can achieve it so fast?" Eva chortled, "Be glad you didn’t make it rebel."
"Fuck off, I am pissed." Lia grabbed the hold of her head, massaging it to calm her headache down.
"Anyway, those are the stages. Which one are you at?" Eva questioned me with a gentle smile.
"Automatic, uncontrolled stage."
"..."
"..."
I struggled to hide a grin from emerging at their speechless, blank faces. I wonder what they would’ve said if they knew I was already in the controlled mana circulation state.
They might as well have tried to jump in a ditch or something. Drowning in a handful of water, as the saying goes.
Still, not getting suddenly cocky, I asked with a frown, "Are there any more stages? And what if I put more stats into magic? Will the bonus stats go up?"
Eva blinked, pulled out of her daze as she nodded like a hen pecking chicken.
"Yes. Yes. I mean, yeah." She coughed to clear her throat, "Indeed. But... automatic already... goddamn, your magic is too freaky."
And although she didn’t add anything else, I could see the curiosity killing her from inside.
If I wasn’t wrong, she was waiting for others to leave so that she could question Claire privately.
"Too freaky indeed." Lia narrowed her eyes at me, looking at me as if I was a lab rat that needed to be experimented on.
"Haha," I chuckled casually, "I never knew Lia was a mage though."
"I am an anemomancer. Though I have an affinity to fire as well, and I am practicing my pyromancy so I can merge the two for more firepower."
"That’s quite cool." I nodded, looking back at Eva who was sitting silently on the side of the bed.
Silence returned to the room, only broken by the low breathing of Claire and her friends.
But it wasn’t a bad thing, as I got more time to delve deeper in my mind.
I couldn’t believe that I was already further in my mana circulation than Eva and Lia, who were supposed to be mages for a long time.
Is that how potent the 100 magic stat is supposed to be? Now the 3 hour trance feels totally worth it.
Hell, more than worth it.
And it said with practice, I will increase the proficiency of my circulation, which would increase my conversion rate.
Doesn’t that effectively mean that if I keep pouring my stats into magic at the rate of 10x, I will be raising my other stats as well???
So... If I pour 7 extra stats in it, I will get 70 magic. Which will take the total to 170, and 20% of it is 34...
That’s too freaky... is it supposed to be that high?
What happens when I actually raise my proficiency to lets say 50% conversion?
I will be getting over 85 stats, just from the bonus?!
And each level up gives me 5 extra points, plus 1 into magic!
So... 60 magic in one level up...
I could barely keep a grin from emerging on my face.
Now that’s what I call a cheat indeed.
