G-14 Branch, down at the port.

The warships from G-5 were ready to set sail.

Roya stood tall on the ship's front, right by the big guns. His hands were tucked in his pockets, and his eyes were cold as he stared at a warship coming from Marine Headquarters. He was also staring at the man standing on its own front guns.

It was Admiral Akainu!

The most annoying of all the Admirals , Roya thought.

If Aokiji had shown up, maybe we could have talked things out. If it was that boring Kizaru, we wouldn't have to fight to the death.

But this guy...!

The warship sped closer, stopping just a few feet away.

"Admiral Akainu," Roya said.

"Vice Admiral Roya."

Akainu looked serious, his face hard. He still respected Roya, but Roya had done something he shouldn't have.

"Let's skip the polite stuff. Give me Kaido's daughter. Her very blood is a crime. If she's left alone, she'll definitely become a danger to Justice!"

"That's ridiculous."

Roya scoffed.

"Admiral Akainu, has the Marine become so weak that it needs to use a clueless little girl as a bargaining chip?"

"Evil must be destroyed completely!"

Akainu's voice was like ice. "This is for the future of the world. If we ignore the danger right in front of us because we're feeling soft, we'll pay a terrible price later."

"The future..."

Roya's face turned cold, his eyes calm. "Like what happened with the Buster Call on Ohara?" he asked.

"You know a lot."

Akainu said calmly, "Exactly. The scholars on Ohara were researching things they shouldn't have, things that could threaten the world's stability. Getting rid of them was the right thing to do."

"Even the innocent people?"

"To protect Justice, some sacrifices are necessary!"

Akainu adjusted his hat, his voice cold. "Vice Admiral Roya, are you questioning the World Government's orders?"

"No, I don't have any thoughts on the Buster Call from back then. It happened almost twenty years ago, and Ohara is gone. Arguing about it now is pointless."

Roya slowly shook his head, his eyes turning fierce.

"I just want to tell you, to tell those powerful jerks, that I'm not Ohara. I won't be pushed around so easily!"

"If anyone dares to hurt me, even a little, I'll do everything I can to make them regret it. I'll make them pay in blood!"

"If you want to touch the people I care about, you better think long and hard about the consequences!"

Akainu looked at Roya, who was clearly furious. His own face turned icy.

He had once admired Roya, especially how he dealt with pirates. That's why he had tried to talk him out of this.

But now, he had no choice but to forget their friendship.

Akainu's fist began to glow with a hot, orange-red light.

"The Marine doesn't need unusual methods!"

"I'm a Marine, the G-5 Branch Base Chief, not some unusual method. Don't label me!"

Roya's gaze was cold.

"Admiral Akainu, I have one last question, and I want you to answer it honestly: what do you think of the Celestial Dragons?"

"..."

A shadow passed over Akainu's eyes.

"To keep the world in order, they are necessary!"

"Order... I understand."

Roya slowly nodded, then raised his hand to tell his men to set sail. "Let's move somewhere else. This is an important Marine base. It would be a shame if it got destroyed in a fight."

The warship sailed out of the port, heading into the open sea.

"Admiral Akainu?"

"Follow them."

"Yes, sir!"

Half a day later, they arrived at Punk Hazard.

Roya stood on the deck, facing all the G-5 Marines.

"All G-5 Branch Marines, listen up!"

"No one is allowed to set foot on Punk Hazard without my permission!"

"Smoker, from now on, you'll be the Acting Base Chief of the G-5 Branch. Whether I come back or not, you will lead the G-5 Branch!"

"Do you understand?!"

Silence fell on the deck.

Roya's words sounded like a goodbye, and the Marines were filled with panic. They couldn't imagine what the G-5 Branch would be like without Roya.

Barto rushed out of the group, shouting excitedly, "Roya Boss, we want to fight with you!"

"This fight is not for you to interfere in."

Roya shook his head and turned to the edge of the deck.

"Yamato, let's go."

"Okay!"

The two jumped onto the shore and walked towards the island.

With Roya gone, Smoker was now the leader of the G-5 Branch.

Smoker's face was pale and unsure. After a long silence, he angrily gave the order, "Defend Punk Hazard! Don't let anyone interfere with Vice Admiral Roya's battle!"

"Yes, sir!"

In the center of the island.

Roya and Yamato stood side by side, waiting for Akainu to arrive.

"Yamato, after this fight is over, I want to take you on a trip."

"Really?"

Yamato's eyes lit up.

"Really."

Roya smiled as he patted the little girl's head. "You've always admired Oden's adventures, right? Let's go and follow the same paths he did."

"Roya!"

Yamato excitedly jumped on Roya, hugging him tightly.

"I like you so much!"

"Ugh..."

Roya's face showed a hint of annoyance.

Over the past two years, he had grown a lot and was now about seven feet tall, just a bit shorter than Yamato.

Being hugged by the girl was kind of suffocating.

No, I need to get taller! he thought.

"Eh!"

Yamato suddenly looked up at the sky.

Roya also looked up.

Roya looked down at Akainu, who was walking towards them from a distance. With each step, the ground beneath his feet began to melt into lava.

"Be careful, Yamato!"

"Got it, I'll cover you!"

Yamato transformed into her Werewolf form in a flash, swinging her Wolf Fang Club at the falling lava!

"Howling Arrow!"

A beam of pure force tore through the lava, destroying it!

Roya ignored the meteor shower, striding towards Akainu. His fists gradually became covered in flowing Haki.

To fight a man made of magma, you had to avoid touching him directly. If you touched his body, you would be burned by the lava.

Haki could only defend against physical attacks and couldn't protect you from elemental damage.

"Crack!"

Akainu clenched his fist, and cracks appeared on his arm. Then, his entire arm exploded into magma!

The distance between them closed quickly, and they leaped up almost at the same time.

"Meteor Impact!"

"Great Eruption!"

"Boom!!!"

A huge shockwave and a fist of magma each filled half of the world!
