Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 699 - 702: Does the dried small fish still want it?
Poor little Harry innocently howled twice.
Thomas Shannon pinched his brow with one hand, pointing with the other towards the medical office. "Go get her back!"
Harry dawdled, refusing to go. Thomas Shannon’s gaze darkened. "Don’t you want your dried small fish anymore?"
"MEOW!"
Upon hearing about the dried small fish, Harry seemed invigorated, his fur standing on end as he spun around and bolted outside gallantly.
"Young Master, I have made you some hangover soup," the servant said respectfully, carrying the soup to the tea table.
Thomas Shannon waved his hand, and the servant retreated immediately.
He wished he could get drunk right now; he was in no mood for hangover soup.
Time slipped away, every minute and every second.
Harry didn’t return for a long time.
「Medical office.」
Sophie Sullivan had already gone to bed. In the dead silent night, the sudden sound of a cat meowing came from outside the door, accompanied by the persistent scratching of claws at the door.
The noise was abrupt, almost frightening.
Sophie was jolted awake. She turned on the lamp and glanced at the time. It was past one in the early morning.
Is that Harry outside?
She got out of bed and opened the door. Harry pounced at her feet, tilting his little head up and meowing insistently.
Considering Harry had helped her find the USB drive last time, Sophie leaned over, picked him up in her embrace, and casually shut the door.
"Why are you here bothering me so late at night instead of sleeping?"
Sophie, annoyed, patted Harry’s little head. Harry was stunned by the pat, cowering motionless in her embrace.
Sophie lay back down. Harry meowed, his chubby and round body squirming, until Sophie patted his head. "Don’t move."
Immediately, Harry settled down.
Held in her embrace, Harry fell asleep even faster than Sophie.
He even snored softly.
Sophie didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Did he come to find her this late at night just to sleep with her?
Inside the Castle, Thomas Shannon waited and waited. An hour passed.
Harry still hadn’t returned. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
This stupid cat is unreliable! Thomas Shannon fumed internally. It must have snuck off somewhere to play again. It can’t even complete such a simple mission. What use is it!
A hundred ways to cook cat meat... flashed through Thomas Shannon’s mind.
...
The next day, Sophie was awakened by scratching.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a fluffy head rubbing against her face continuously.
Harry meowed pitifully. Sophie held him at arm’s length with one hand. "Harry, stop it."
"MEOW..."
Where are my dried small fish! I want dried small fish, dried small fish, dried small fish!
Sophie helplessly sat up and looked at Harry. She narrowed her eyes. "Keep this up, and I’ll kill you and make Stew Soup!"
Harry cowered, not daring to meow again. He only bit her sleep gown, trying to pull her outside.
Sophie didn’t understand, thinking Harry wanted to show her something again. She sighed in resignation. "Alright, alright, I’ll go with you."
Harry raced out of the medical office.
Sophie followed him. The farther she walked, the more something felt wrong.
Harry was leading her back to the castle...
She hadn’t set foot in there for a week, and she really didn’t want to now.
Especially not Thomas Shannon.
She turned to leave, but Harry bit her sleep gown and clung to her.
"Harry, let go!"
Harry innocently hung on to her, refusing to let go.
Just as Sophie decided to take Harry back to the medical office like this, a tall man, exuding a cold and stern aura, was emerging from the castle, gracefully descending the stairs.
Sophie glanced over, and her gaze immediately froze on the face of the woman beside him.
Raina Bell?
At this moment, Sophie felt nothing but irony.
The man who had once promised Raina Bell would never appear before her again.
