Pampered by My Secret Husband-Chapter 727 - 730: Their relationship has already reached such an intimate level.
The cold and ruthless man had already stepped away and entered the room.
Charlie River paused for a moment beside the butler, "The Young Master is in a bad mood; remember, be cautious with your words and actions!"
The butler hastily nodded, realizing that the Young Master’s mood was more than just bad; he was absolutely furious!
Returning to the bedroom, Thomas Shannon went straight into the bath chamber to take a bath.
As he closed his eyes, the face that filled his mind was unexpectedly Sophie Sullivan’s. Her eyes were defiant and unyielding, with a provocative smile.
Thomas Shannon brushed his wet hair back, revealing his smooth, unblemished forehead. He fiercely punched the wall and cursed, "Damn it!"
She despised Minimus Hart. Hadn’t he delivered Minimus Hart to her for punishment? She repeatedly asked where Raina Bell was and if she had been punished. Hadn’t he let Raina Bell appear in front of her, allowing her to punish her at will? Was that still not enough? What more did she want? And George Stanford—why had he never made things difficult for him, much less hurt him? For what reason?
...
After having her plaister removed in the hospital, Fluffy Zane sincerely thanked Jim Jones, who was standing next to her, "Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to accompany me to the hospital."
Jim Jones opened the car door and smiled, "No need to be polite; accompanying you to the hospital is more important than my public affairs."
He paused for a moment and said, "Moreover, your injury is indirectly related to me."
If it hadn’t been for him inviting her to be his female companion that night, perhaps she wouldn’t have had the car accident.
No matter the cause, he held an indirect responsibility.
So, taking care of her was what he should do.
Fluffy Zane shook her head and laughed, "I can’t argue with you."
With Jim Jones’s help, she got into the car. He closed the car door, walked around the front of the car, and took the driver’s seat.
He glanced at the time and suggested, "It’s almost time for lunch. Let’s eat together."
"Okay, I’ll treat you." Fluffy Zane smiled, "Consider it a thank you for helping me all morning."
"Then I won’t turn down the offer."
The two of them chatted and laughed as they made their way to the restaurant.
This was a well-known vegetarian restaurant in the Imperial City, highly regarded by vegetarians.
Jim Jones helped Fluffy Zane out of the car, and the waiter led them to a table by the window.
Jim Jones handed her the menu and let her order, "Fluffy, you choose."
Fluffy Zane smiled and nodded, "I’ve never been here before. Do you have any suggestions?"
Jim Jones came to her side, sat down next to her, and they ordered together. They were sitting very close, appearing extremely intimate.
"Young Master Guillen, what are you looking at?"
The woman’s slightly coquettish voice sounded.
William Guillen closed the menu, his appetite disappearing. He frowned slightly, "Let’s go to another restaurant."
The woman pouted unhappily and whined, "Young Master Guillen, you promised to bring me here to eat. How can you go back on your word?"
To dine at this restaurant, reservations had to be made a week in advance.
If it weren’t for William Guillen, she probably wouldn’t have been able to dine here so easily.
William Guillen retracted his gaze, impatiently pressed the corners of his mouth, but he still endured it.
He gently nodded his head, seemingly agreeing to stay.
The woman laughed happily and began to order food.
William Guillen’s gaze fell on Fluffy Zane and Jim Jones, who were intimately ordering food not far away.
It’s such a doomed fate! In such a big Imperial City, even going out to eat could lead to a chance encounter. It appeared that their relationship had progressed rapidly, reaching such an intimate level. He should congratulate her, then.
In William Guillen’s mind, he recalled the words she had said the last time at her home. He closed his eyes, forcing himself not to think about it anymore. The more he thought about it, the more his head ached.
He also noticed something. Since his father’s birthday banquet, the relationship between them had subtly changed. This change broke the previous balance of their relationship.
