Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 825: Pokemon and Eggs

Axel had excepted to see a big building with many floors while visiting the day care.

But he was wrong. The day care was as big as a village. Most of it was connected to the forest and sea while a small percentage was filled with multiple buildings.

The designs of each of the buildings were different and they were for different purposes.

There was a huge wall, around 30 meters high that was covering the whole day care. The name of the day care was still undecided but the place looked massive.

"How could they create such a thing in just a month?", doubted Noah.

The place was so huge that it could not be completed in a month. The royal family and Oak was helping Axel in this endeavor.

"This is the power of Pokemon. They can do a month worth of work in a day. Let's get inside. I have been told to contact Mr. Human. He is the leader of those 3 breeders.", said Axel as they went inside.

Before they went inside, they were properly verified by the guards. The guards were frightened that they had checked the owner of this day care but Axel just told them that there was no problem. This was their job.

"Hello, Mr. Axel. I have been eagerly waiting for you for some days now. Hello, Mr. Noah.", greeted Mr. Human.

"Hello, Mr. Human. By the way, what kind of name is that?", asked Noah.

"Haha, I get that a lot. My full name is actually Gora Human but people love me to just call me Mr. Human. Now, please come inside. Let me introduce you to the team."

Gora went ahead and started to introduce it to the team. The names of the other 2 breeders were Kala and Ganga. They were also advanced rank breeders but it looked like Gora had a lot of experience in this field. So, he was appointed as the leader of the team.

There were also a lot of staff attendants, receptionist, nutritional specialist, cleaners, cooks, and many people segregated for their respective jobs. Axel went ahead and personally met all of them.

The construction of the day care has been completed and only the eggs are left to be received.

"Since this is a day care, we will be selling our Pokemon eggs to Hakone city and also any free travelers that come to our day care. But before selling it to individual trainers ourselves, we will do an interview with them and also a bit of a background check. We will only sell the Pokemon eggs if they fulfill the criteria.

Regarding the trainers that come here for Pokemons, the Pokemons will have to accept them.

The rate of Pokemon eggs and Pokemons will be slightly higher than the market price.

And most of our Pokemons would go to the 'Fairy tail' Mercenary team which I have created. They would be given the first picks.

Axel had asked for 100 eggs of 5 species of Pokemons each. The eggs were of Gogoat, Toxapex, Corviknight, Medicham, and Volcarona. All of them were carefully selected for the tide battles.

Gogoat was for healing, area control and also for commercial purposes. Toxapex was purely for defense and tank purposes. Corviknight was for dealing with flying type Pokemons as Axel's team lacked a good flying type team.

Medicham was for pure physical attack and Volcarona was for special attack.

The prince and the royal family had been generous and they also sent 30 Pokemons of each category, of which 10 were males and 20 were females.

The eggs would take couple of weeks to hatch and would take a lot of time to have another egg to repeat the process.

So, having the Pokemons itself was going to make things easier for him.

Axel and Noah followed Mr. Human to building where the kept the eggs. These eggs were well preserved and also monitored from time to time. The medical team was very serious about the health of these eggs.

"Most of these eggs would hatch in 2 weeks and some of them would take a month to hatch. The prince and the royal family were also very generous in sending out 30 Pokemons for each species.

Do you want to meet with these Pokemons?", asked Gora Human.

"Yes, let's meet them.", said Axel.

Axel was not so hopeful about the strength of these Pokemons. They were clearly selected only for breeding. They had the potential and their bodies were trained properly for breeding but they were not trained for battle.

And he was right about it.

None of them these Pokemons were in king rank. Some of them were in pseudo-king rank while the majority of them were in elemental rank.

This was to be expected. The royal family would not send out king rank Pokemons to Axel. They would be losing a lot if they did that.

The place was big and these Pokemons had already selected their places in groups. There was a group of Corviknight that they loved to live in high trees. Similarly, some of the Medichamp were training in training grounds. The quality of training grounds was not inferior to what he had in his home.

Some of them were just lazing around and sleeping, enjoying the sunlight while some of them were training like no tomorrow.

"When will the Pokemons and their eggs arrive?", asked Axel to Gora.

They already had those 5 species of Pokemon with them and now they were adding another 11 species. That was a lot of Pokemons but Axel knew that even this was not going to be enough for his mercenary team.

But such a thing would take some and Axel needed to have patience.

All of these Pokemons were carefully chosen after repeated meetings with his commanders.

Vivillon had a hidden ability called 'Friend guard' that would reduce the damage done to all the allies around its vicinity. That was a powerful ability and if mastered properly, they could do a lot of things. Vivillon also had many moves like 'Sleep powder', 'Poison powder' and 'Rage powder' that would be very helpful in the tide battle.

Mudsdale was chosen due to its ability 'Stamina' which raises its defense if it was hit by any move. This would be a perfect tank for the team as it also had high defense and attack stats.

Gastrodon was purely chosen for its ability 'Storm drain' which would absorb all the single target water type moves. This was a powerful ability against water type Pokemons.

Hatterene was a psychic/fairy type Pokemon and it was very rare. It also had the ability 'Healer' which would heal status conditions of allies. It also knew a lot of healing type moves. Axel needed a pure healer and this Pokemon for perfect for it.

Axel actually wanted Blissey or Audino cause they were very good healers compared to Hatterene but the Nurse Joy family was adamant about not giving those Pokemons to Axel. So, he had to settle with Hatterene.

It was not that Hatterene was a bad Pokemon. It was a psychic/fairy type Pokemon who had strong psychic attacks. It could be used for battle too and also for healing. But its healing capabilities were not as profound as Blissey and Audino.
