Mo Chenxuan, Qin Wu, and Wei Cheng worked hard for three days and four nights before killing all the level one and level two zombies.

Looking at the burned stadium, Qin Wu sighed and shook her head.

"It’s going to be hell to clean this up." She said.

"Wu’er, let’s rest and then enter the stadium to deal with the level three zombies." Mo Chenxuan suggested and then turned to Wei Cheng.

"You can go rest. We won’t forget your reward." He said.

"Yes, boss." The mutant nodded and flew back to the campsite.

As for Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu, they sat on the stadium roof and drank space water to replenish their ability.

"Chenxuan, your ability has seemed restless in the last couple of days." Qin Wu observed, and Mo Chenxuan nodded.

"I am about to advance." He said.

It was months since he last advanced.

However, this was expected, since the gap between stages increased with the increase in ability level.

"Can you hold on until we deal with the level three zombies?"

"Barely." The man nodded.

The two rested for two hours.

After recovering their energy, Mo Chenxuan enveloped them in a spiritual ability barrier before they jumped into the stadium.

"Even in death, Queen Jin stands above the rest." Qin Wu said, looking at the only mid-stage level three zombie in the stadium.

"Fortunately, there is no level three spiritual ability zombie." Mo Chenxuan said, recalling the zombie they encountered at the refinery.

"Chenxuan, I originally thought we would return to the refinery immediately after the winter. However, that may not be possible."

Mo Chenxuan nodded when he heard this.

He also thought so, but things had changed.

In their previous life, many bases encountered zombie sieges immediately after the winter.

Following that, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu attacked two nearby zombies.

Because there were more level three zombies in the stadium, the two planned for a quick fight to avoid being surrounded.

Fortunately, the stadium zombies lacked fighting experience and had been starving for a long time, hence they were relatively easy to deal with.

In no time, only the Queen Jin zombie remained.

Seeing two humans approaching her, the zombie screeched but didn’t rush towards them.

"It’s a voice-enhanced zombie." Qin Wu said and subconsciously frowned.

Queen Jin was a mid-stage level three zombie, while Mo Chenxuan was an early-stage spiritual ability user.

Because of this, the man could not completely block Queen Jin’s ability and both he and Qin Wu were slightly affected.

"I feel like someone took a hammer to my head." Qin Wu complained and subconsciously clutched her head, her eyes glistening with tears.

"Mmh." Mo Chenxuan agreed.

He felt terrible!

His head was pounding, his ears were ringing, and his nerves were thrumming with discomfort.

"Go all out." Qin Wu agreed.

A moment later, Qin Wu condensed a space slash, and Mo Chenxuan condensed a fusion attack.

Unfortunately, they thought well, but Queen Jin didn’t give them a chance.

Before the two could attack, the zombie screeched again, distracting the two people’s focus and causing the newly condensed attacks to helplessly disperse.

However, Mo Chenxuan cooperated perfectly and intercepted the zombie on its escape route.

In the blink of an eye, the fusion attack hit Queen Jin, and she finally slowed down before dying.

Seeing this, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu sighed in relief and reached for each other’s hands.

"Let’s rest." Mo Chenxuan said, and both sat on the ground, too exhausted to move to a cleaner place.

After one hour, the two felt better, but their heads were still pounding and their ears were ringing.

"Collect the level three crystal cores and let the team help us collect the rest?" Qin Wu asked, and Mo Chenxuan nodded.

After getting the level three crystal cores, the two left the pitch and began exploring the stadium.

The stands, goalposts, and surrounding things were burned to ashes.
