"The wound doesn’t seem infected." She sighed in relief but soon frowned.

Mo Chenxuan had learned his reason.

Recalling his pervious life, he naturally didn’t dare to look down or ignore apocalypse researchers.

After talking for a while, the two left the space and returned to their bedroom in the villa.

At the same time, they heard a knock and a low voice from outside the room.

"It should be uncle Zhang calling us for dinner." Qin Wu speculated and Mo Chenxuan nodded.

However, she didn’t take it to heart.

For her, the Qin family was a bunch of strangers and their plans had nothing to do with her.

"What about Chu Wan’er?" She asked.

"She didn’t say but it didn’t seem urgent since she didn’t leave a message."

"Is that so?" Qin Wu frowned and glanced at Mo Chenxuan.

However, Mo Chenxuan didn’t know why Chu Wan’er had come over so he could only shrug.

"It doesn’t matter. We will see her around." Qin Wu said.

"What about the base? Did something happen?"

"There hasn’t been a random zombification incident for half a month." Uncle Zhang revealed and the other two sighed in relief.

Although they didn’t care about others, they were still relieved to learn that the zombification incidents had come to an end.

"What’s the latest on the land matter?" Mo Chenxuan asked.

"There hasn’t been a decision yet. I believe the matter may drag for another few weeks."

"Why?" Qin Wu asked.

"The base is currently preparing for winter and other matters have been shelved for the time being."

While Qin Wu and Mo Chenxuan were listening to uncle Zhang’s report, Qin Lan received the news of their return.

"They are finally back." She muttered; her lips curled in a vicious smile.

It had been more than two months since she first encountered Qin Wu and Mo Chenxuan.

During that time, she had visited villa number eight several times but never met the two people again.

However, she was determined not to miss them again so she woke up early the next day.

"Lan’er, why did you wake up so early? Where are you going?" Sun Juan asked, looking at her daughter with inquisitive eyes.

"I am going to visit sister."

"Is Qin Wu back?"

"Mmh." Qin Lan nodded.

"Isn’t it a bit to early to visit her?" Sun Juan asked.

After all, it was only eight in the morning.

Even if Qin Lan wanted to visit, she should at least wait until a polite hour.

"Mother, you don’t know how slippery my sister is." Qin Lan said in a frustrated voice.

"I may not be able to meet her if I go too late."

However, she supressed the sneer and looked at her brother with eager eyes.

"She returned yesterday." She said and quickly continued.

"Brother, we should go see her before she leaves on another mission."

Qin Feng sighed when he heard that.

It had been years since he last saw Qin Wu.

Thinking about the woman who used to be his sister, Qin Feng had mixed feelings.

Because of this, he couldn’t decide whether he wanted to see her or not.

However, he couldn’t ignore Qin Lan.

Since Qin Lan wanted to find Qin Wu, Qin Feng could only oblige.

"Wait a moment." He said and closed the door.

Five minutes later, he came out of the room after freshening up and changing into casual clothes.

"Let’s go." He said.

Because the Qin villa was not far from villa eight, the two did not drive and instead chose to walk.

"Brother, is our team going to take a new mission in the next few days?" Qin Lan suddenly asked as the two walked.

"There is no hurry." Qin Feng said with a thoughtful expression.

His grandfather told him that the military was planning a major operation.
