The Quinn’s Family was huge no doubt but how they became rich and wealthy was through the help of the five Quinn Brothers.

Rowen’s father was the second while Erin’s father was the third. They all combined their brains to make the Quinn family what it was today.

Sadly out of five of them, only one remained.

Richard Quinn, the fifth uncle of the Quinn family. Currently the richest had the highest shares in the entire Quinn Empire. Managing it as the current Chairman and president, he is someone no one in the entire Quinn family would want to annoy.

Even Rowen.

But in her last life Vanessa was stupid that she dared to anger the man. Eunice had feed her ears with ideas on how to ruin Rowen and his reputation.

On the day of the banquet, she had dressed immoral. Brought a gift that sent the fifth uncle straight to the hospital, henceforth making him hate Rowen and his family.

It was that day, the love Rowen had for her started to fade until nothing, absolutely nothing remained.

Let’s not forget the fact that it was that same night her entire career was ruined. Who would have known Eunice had it in for her and she found out just too late.

Rowen dropped her at her apartment as he promised to pick her up later in the evening since the event would be at night.

Entering into her apartment, Vanessa went straight to her wardrobe as she scanned all the dresses she had.

She wardrobe was huge and was filled with so many designer clothes that you would literally get lost.

Everything was either outdated or not to fancy enough. If she was going to make a comeback, then she had to do it looking absolutely fabulous.

Just then her eyes spotted a black box. It has been there for as long as she can remember.

Bringing it out, she dusted it slightly only to gasp at what she saw. Smiling, she knew she was ready for the banquet.

Just then, the bell rang and her face turned cold.

She didn’t have to look to know who it was. Sighing, she reluctantly opened the door and as expected it was Eunice.

But unlike before, she didn’t seem happy.

Immediately bouncing on Vanessa, Eunice started sobbing, "Vanessa, I heard what happened earlier, trust me when me when I say brother Erin would never do such a thing.. he was drugged by that whore! He would never do such."

She defended as Vanessa shoved her hands away. Really? Then why did he go to her room instead of mine? Why?"

"B-because the room number was switched.. we tried to find out who did it but the CCTV footage was jammed but the waitress testified that it was Rachel who had asked her to drug Erin.. see it wasn’t Erin’s fault."

Sighing, Vanessa nodded, "It’s alright.. I’ve heard. I’m not even angry anymore right now I have better things to do."

"Are you talking about the Quinn’s birthday banquet?"

"Hmm.. Rowen and I would be going to the banquet." Vanessa stated awaiting Eunice’s response.

"I see, I’m sure that jerk Rowen must have forced you to go against your will.. Vanessa trust me when I say he isn’t over you, he’s just trying to get closer to you and when he has the chance, he would try to get married to you again... Want my advice, teach him a lesson." She said.

Playing along, Vanessa asked, "Teach him a lesson? How?"

"This Quinn’s Banquet is very important for Rowen, he would try to use this to get favour from his fifth uncle.. I advice you to make a fool out of him in front of his family, make then see who he truly his.. embarrass him to the point he doesn’t want to have anything to do with you anymore.. then can he leave you for good."

She said as she smiled deviously, snd Vanessa nodded, "You have a good point Eunice, I’ll think about it."

"Good.. w-well I’ll take my leave now, I’ll see you when I’m free.. bye!"

And with that, she left Vanessa’s Apartment with her toxic attitude.

With her gone Vanessa just sighed. She must been really stupid in her last life not to see how devious and poisonous Eunice was.

This was something most young and beautiful woman go through thses days, listening and eating the advices given to them by their evil and jealous friends and in the end what happens? They loose their happy home.

Soon George arrived to pick Vanessa up from her apartment.

As she stepped out, George and even people who were passing by couldn’t help but pause at her beauty.

In her last life she had worn a red dress wooden slit was so long that it reached up to her thighs.

Let’s not even get started on how heavy her makeup was. Yes she was beautiful but with so much make up, she just looked fake.

But this time everything about her was different. The Quinn family was half Chinese and half American and from their fifth uncle taste, he was a man of more traditional setting. That everyone knew.

Vanessa remembered how Rowen had gifted her a white cheongsam which was embroidered with flower like designs.

But she never thought of wearing it, not for a single day.. well until now.

It was simple but looked so beautiful on her. Her hair was packed in a neat bun as only a single white-jade hairpin was placed on her head.

Her makeup was light yet so beautiful, she looked absolutely like an angel that even George was left speechless, talk less of Rowen.

Regaining his senses, George opened the back seat for her as he bowed slightly.

"Thank you," she muttered politely as he entered and drove off.
