Rebirth, Seduce My Ex-husband-Chapter 31: Movie Shoot 1

For three days, Vanessa had tired getting through to Rowen but he just shut her out.

What happened all of a sudden? Why the sudden hate?

Standing up, Vanessa said as she tried on her new dress.

"It fits you perfectly!" Susan complimented as she helped Vanessa adjust her clothes.

"Sam! Quickly go get the boxes and upload it to the van, we leave in five!" She instructed as Sam nodded and did as instructed.

Today was the starting of the short film production. Vanessa would be busy for a week to film it.

And Susan as her manager must make sure everything is perfect, "Today the director is only planning on making an opening scene for the film so you being the major character, you have to be there early and look your best."

Taking off the dress, Vanessa changed back to her casual outfit as she and Susan made their way to out.

They movie was going to be shot in Florence agency. Which is one of the biggest acting locations in Graceland.

Upon their arrivals, they were all welcomed and given their room cards.

Immediately a meeting was held as the director explained how the entire film was going to be and it was as though Vanessa was the only one present as all his attention that fixed only on her. After all she was the main character.

But Eunice wasn’t one bit happy about it. She hated Vanessa and she was going to make sure she knew that.

"We start in 20 minutes, get ready!"

The director instructed as Susan quickly took Vanessa to her dressing room.

The VIP dressing room were only for the main characters so Vanessa got hers and so did Eunice and the male lead.

Seated, Vanessa was getting her hair attended to by her stylist as just then, Eunice barged into the room taking them by surprise.

Seeing the look on Eunice face, Vanessa knew she wasn’t here for no chitchat.

"You guys may go for now, I’ll call you back soon." Vanessa instructed as they nodded and excused them both.

As soon as they left the room, Eunice approached Vanessa as she gave her a tight slap across her face.

The entire room fell silent immediately as Eunice erupted, "You bitch! How dare you set me up.. I knew something had changed in you, the fact that you dared to outsmart me.. who do you think you are?"

Eunice shouted as Vanessa’s hand moved swiftly, slapping Eunice twice across the face with force. The sound echoed through the room as Eunice stumbled back, shock and disbelief filling her eyes. She collapsed onto the floor, her hand clutching her burning cheek.

Vanessa towered over her, her chest rising and falling with anger. "You dare to hit me?" she seethed. She bent down, grabbing Eunice by the hair, forcing her to look up. "Who do you think you are?"

Eunice winced, her lips trembling, but she refused to stay silent. "You set me up! You—"

Another slap landed on her cheek, cutting off her words. Tears welled in her eyes from the pain, but Vanessa wasn’t done. "You drugged me, Eunice! You wanted to ruin me! And now you dare to question me?"

"You think I don’t know how you seduced Erin? You betrayed me, humiliated me! And now you act like the victim?"

Eunice’s face twisted in anger and shame. "Shut up!" she screamed, struggling against Vanessa’s grip.

Vanessa shoved her back to the floor. "Stay out of my way, Eunice. I’m done being your target. If you ever try to hurt me again, you’ll regret it."

Eunice’s body trembled with rage, but then a sinister smirk formed on her lips. Before Vanessa could react, Eunice lunged forward and pushed her with all her strength. Vanessa stumbled backward, crashing against the dressing table.

Before she could recover, Eunice rushed to the door, yanked it open, and shoved Vanessa inside. With a loud click, she locked the door from the outside.

Vanessa pounded on the door. "Eunice! Open this door! You can’t do this!"

Eunice chuckled darkly. "Watch me. Enjoy your alone time, cousin."

She turned and walked away, stopping in the hallway where she spotted Sam, Vanessa’s assistant, carrying the costume Vanessa was supposed to wear for the scene.

"Oh, Sam!" Eunice called sweetly, stepping in her way. "The director wants to see you right away. Something about finalizing the schedule."

Sam frowned. "But I need to—"

"Go on! I’ll take the costume to Vanessa for you," she insisted, grabbing the dress from her hands before she could protest.

As soon as Sam walked off, Eunice smirked and took a pair of scissors from a nearby makeup table. Without hesitation, she made deep cuts along the seams of the dress, ruining it beyond repair. Then, she stuffed it into a trash bin nearby, hiding the evidence before walking off as if nothing happened.

Meanwhile, back at the set, Susan started to worry. "Vanessa should be here by now," she muttered, heading toward the dressing rooms.

Eunice spotted her and quickly intercepted. "Oh, Susan!" she said, faking concern. "Vanessa isn’t feeling well. She said she needs a little time to rest before coming out."

Susan sighed, looking conflicted. "Really? She was fine earlier..."

"Yeah, she just suddenly felt dizzy. You know how exhausting these shoots can be." Eunice placed a hand on Susan’s shoulder. "Maybe just give her a little time. I’m sure she’ll come out soon." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Susan hesitated before nodding. "Alright, I’ll wait a bit longer."

Back on set, the director paced impatiently. "Where is Vanessa? We were supposed to start thirty minutes ago!"

The crew exchanged nervous glances, whispering among themselves.

Eunice smiled innocently and stepped forward. "Don’t be annoyed, director. It’s just that my cousin likes to take her time, so it’s understandable."

The director’s face darkened with anger. "Understandable?! This is a professional film set, not a personal vanity project! No actor, no matter how famous, should keep the entire crew waiting like this! If she doesn’t show up soon, she’ll regret it!"
