Reborn As A Doomsday Villainess-Chapter 123: He’s no longer here
Chapter 123: He’s no longer here
There was a brief silence as Feng Yizhou chuckled.
"You two can pick a side but I don’t like you enough to keep you in my forces. So I’ll kill you too first."
After saying this, he fired two clean shots are them, heading straight to their heads.
He knew Du Yuan wouldn’t bother himself to save their lives.
"You’re quite a heartless person aren’t ya. Aren’t you worried your woman would be afraid of you?"
Feng Yizhou turned the gun towards him.
"Caocao is there any weak points?"
"Not quite, but he has heightened senses and quick reflexes. Can’t say there’s a weak point"
Feng Yizhou sighed, this was going to be a tough fight.
"Ah. She knows I’ll always protect her and never hurt her. She can’t fear a man who would give her a knife to stab him if she doubts him."
".."
"Can you stop being cringy. Get your mind out of the gutter, we’ve got a vermin to take care of.."
"Sorry my dear. Shall we finish him off?"
Qingran nodded, she didn’t want to ditch the gun and focus on hand to hand combat, those men could still betray them.
"Lingquan give it to me straight. How do I take down this guy? He’s impenetrable.."
Lingquan’s voice came calmly into her ear, measured and serious as always.
[He’s not truly impenetrable. He’s just highly resistant to external force. His system enhances his physical resilience, but he’s still a human at the core. If you overload his body internally, you can break through. Think pressure points. Organs. Sensory overload. Electricity, maybe even sound. It won’t kill him outright, but it’ll destabilize the system enough to land a real hit.]
Qingran narrowed her eyes at Du Yuan, watching the way he moved, confidently, arrogant, like someone who had never truly been hurt before.
That would change soon.
"Electricity, huh..." she muttered.
Feng Yizhou glanced at her, already picking up on her train of thought. "There’s a panel behind him, right? The one that sparked earlier."
"Exactly" she said. "If we can force him close to it, I can trigger another overload."
Du Yuan tilted his head slightly, watching them whisper like he wasn’t worth the effort. "I’d ask what you’re scheming, but frankly, it’s cute you still think you have options."
Qingran smiled faintly. "We always have options. You’re just too cocky to see them."
Feng Yizhou took a step forward, gun raised, not to shoot this time, but to distract.
"You like talking a lot for someone who hasn’t landed a single hit. Let’s change that."
Du Yuan snarled, the smile finally slipping from his face. "Then let me show you how a real hit feels."
He lunged at Feng Yizhou, faster this time, a blur of movement barely visible to the eye. Feng Yizhou twisted his body just in time, ducking low and driving a sharp elbow into Du Yuan’s ribs, not to hurt him, but to push him closer to the wall behind him.
Du Yuan staggered a half-step, but the force barely fazed him. "Still trying? I did not feel that hit" he scoffed.
Qingran was already in motion. Her foot connected with a loose power conduit she’d spotted earlier, and with a deft flick of her hand, she slid a thin wire from her coat and jammed it into the broken panel.
Sparks exploded instantly, she had to move back quickly so as not to get hit.
A burst of electricity crackled across the room, a loud crack ringing out as the panel erupted behind Du Yuan.
The surge caught him by surprise.
Du Yuan grunted and stumbled, his body jerking violently as the electricity ran through his body.
His enhanced senses worked against him for once, the overload of stimulus making it impossible for him to stabilize in time.
Now. Qingran didn’t hesitate. She was on him in seconds, the blunt end of her gun cracking across the side of his neck where the skin was less taut, less shielded.
Du Yuan roared in pain as the impact finally drew blood. His eyes widened when he saw his own blood on the ground. That had never happened before.
"You bitch!" he snarled, grabbing at her.
But Feng Yizhou was there again, his body slamming into Du Yuan’s to knock him off balance before he could retaliate.
"Nope. Don’t touch her."
He grabbed a wire from the panel and jammed it against Du Yuan’s ribs.
The electricity surged again. This time, Du Yuan dropped to one knee, breathing heavily.
Lingquan’s voice rang again, sharp and urgent.
[Now. His sternum. Hit it hard enough, it’ll knock him unconscious.]
Qingran drove her knee up into his chest, her movement fluid and precise. The force connected exactly where Lingquan had said.
Du Yuan let out a choked gasp and collapsed backward, his body twitching violently as his body glitched, struggling to stabilize.
Then, finally, he stilled and grew silent.
He was still breathing, but completely immobilized.
Feng Yizhou exhaled, straightening slowly. "That was... not fun. It’s like his body is made of steel. Qingran are your hands hurt, let’s fix that when we get back to the safe house."
Qingran flicked her hair back, stepping over Du Yuan’s unconscious body. "He’ll wake up pissed."
"..."
"He should and with a little less pride" Feng Yizhou muttered, nudging Du Yuan with his boot.
Qingran looked up at him. "We need to move him to a secured prison. One his brute force won’t be able to escape."
Feng Yizhou gave a lazy smile. "I wonder if it’s some kind of room with electricity here.."
Qingran stroked her chin, as she spoke up in her mind.
"Can you give me the map and layout of this facility?"
"If we can’t find a torture chamber for him? Then will have to kill him before he wakes up.."
"..."
Feng Yizhou turned back to look at Du Yuan. Only to find out he had disappeared.
"Yeah...he’s no longer here.."
"..."
"What do you mean...he’s no longer..." her voice trailed off when she realized he was really no longer there.
"Geez. Forget him, let’s take over this place completely first.."
Feng Yizhou nodded as he changed his gloves, he turns the old pair to Qingran with a smile and said "Burn these for me will you.."
"...."
Her hands lit up instantly, so fast Feng Yizhou had to let go quickly or he might have gotten burnt.
"Thank you my darling.."
