Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 747: Fine, I’ll Tell You.
Seth put away the transmission device and turned around to see that Chen was standing behind him.
"So, he’s still alive?" Chen asked.
If Seth had wanted no one to listen in on the conversation, no one, not even Chen would have managed to do so.
Seth might actually be nonchalant but his senses were extremely powerful. Nothing really happened on this planet without his awareness.
So he definitely knew that Chen was standing behind all this while, he just chose to remain silent and not say anything about it.
He even allows Chen to eavesdrop on the conversation. Seth was clearly not hiding it.
This was somewhat uncomfortable for Chen. He didn’t trust anyone, not even Seth. He had this feeling as though Seth was trying to win his trust.
For what? Chen wondered to himself always, accepting the possibility that he might just be thinking too much.
"Yes," Seth nodded, looking out through the wide window and allowing the natural light to shine on his form.
"And he is in heaven.
He is also probably responsible for my brother’s disappearance," Seth admitted.
Chen looked down, thinking to himself about how tenacious that All-King was.
Even when faced against that abomination that was literally a Supreme Level Immortal, he still got lucky and found a way to survive.
"Is it a big problem?" Chen asked out of genuine concern. Because, if the lions were still active even after all they had faced, then the problem was just beginning.
Seth shook his head, "The All-King is still alive and he is somehow in Original Heaven.
You don’t understand, that is the worst place for him to be at...for us.
The lions in Original Heaven are a different breed of crazy. They would crush everyone and everything around just because, not because they have any actual reason to do it.
They have been trapped there for tens of millions of years. Their leader has been going crazy since the time of Jin and the oldest lion there lived during Silax’s era.
Do you think those are the kind of creatures you want recovering their Primordial Lion?
That’s just a disaster waiting to happen. I don’t know how my Father and the others would solve this.
With the All-King, they have something worth fighting for, making them hundreds of times more dangerous and more willing to do extreme things to get what they want.
And if the Primordial Lion is there, it is only a matter of time before he senses the oddity. It’s only a matter of time before he perceives the presence of that Slavery Lion Avatar.
The lions don’t understand that they are making everyone suffer with their habits of oppression.
If they could just sit back and forget about this their dominant purpose is to conquer all..."
Seth sighed before finishing his words. He was ranting strategically, knowing that the only way to make the lions change was to change their Law.
"What are we going to do now?" Chen inquired.
Seth shrugged, "Exactly as my father intended.
We can’t get to the All-King there but we can deal with his proxies here.
He has a clan, a family, and consorts too.
The Primordial Cheetah and Primordial Panther are going to help us with that.
They are both immortals already, although low-level.
I heard that they now have a dozen or so Immortals for some reason. I don’t know how they were able to do it but I’ll send a powerful clone to supervise them." Seth said.
Chen nodded, that would probably cause a lot of chaos in the mind of the All-King, having him worried about his family.
Sure, it would make him angry, but they were already on opposite sides. There was nothing that would change the outcome that one of them would have to die.
They might as well play dirty.
Seth suddenly remembered something, "The Primordial Lion, didn’t he capture the Primordial Bear and Primordial Falcon at one time?" His face showed serious confusion as he thought of something.
Chen nodded, "It was his consorts that saw to their capture, but yes, that happened."
"Hmm," Seth brought his arm up and scratched the bridge of his nose with his index finger, "I thought he was doing the same thing that President Musty was doing.
Capturing them to make them his loyal subordinates. Nothing out of expectations for the Primordials of Conquering.
Now I understand why Kael has been so hard to keep many times.
And why does he seem to have so many powers?
He seems to be absorbing the powers of his subordinates."
Seth was smart, he figured it out quite easily. Actually, anyone would have figured it out if they survived to see Kael’s fight very often.
How many actually talked about Kael’s battles? Very few as most of the ones who fought him did not survive to talk about it.
Seth nodded his head. He was a bit jealous. Kael’s powers allowed him to be able to do so many miraculous things and even create those mysterious systems.
It made Seth wonder if these miracles were limited to the Law of Conquering or if other Laws could also do amazing things.
Seth himself knew that ones were not the only abilities that the Law of Freedom had him. It was just the flashiest.
What he and many did not know was that Kael’s powers were built on a solid foundation of contracts and system structures that had been solidified over the years.
He had become a source of power and also the end user of all energy to the Primordials and the lions.
Either way, Seth came to the conclusion that if Kael could make clones, it was because he had a Law that gave him the ability to create clones.
The Law of Freedom was not the only law that gave the ability to create clones, but it was the greatest suspect because of one simple reason.
The Primordial Rat.
That Primordial Rat was definitely being guarded. Seth couldn’t sense his location, or he would have killed him off as soon as possible.
"Hmm," Seth looked at the sky through the window. His arms behind his back and Chen standing dutifully behind him. He was thinking.
Seth did not forget the big plan he and his father had. A plan that involved rising to divine status.
He had to become a Singularity like Kael.
He must.
And he cannot do that with the Primordial Rat still alive.
It was a long-term plan and he had kept it to the side because he didn’t expect the Primordial Rat, wherever he was, to suddenly become immortal.
And if the Primordial Rat wanted to become a Singularity, he would have to kill Seth.
The All-King had simply given him a reason to resume his hunt.
A hunt as old as the first ancestors. The never-ending conflict between the Cats and the Rats.
One must go.
Seth sighed. He was worried about his brother. He couldn’t think of how his father was going to deal with that demonic lion.
Both of them were old and difficult entities who would kill each other any chance they got.
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Chen asked.
The problems of these high and mighty beings made his blood pump and filled him with ambition.
He didn’t want to die obviously, but he didn’t want to be useless, either.
"Besides planning an invasion or harassing the vassal forces of the lions? No.
The lions are unpredictable, and we haven’t even taken care of Emperor Zain." Seth said.
That was right, Emperor Zain was still silent after that fight with Ibadon. It was unknown if the alliance between the Creation Dragons and the Lion Civilization was still held.
Chen’s tall figure fidgeted. He wanted to say something. With Seth’s back to him, he was not minding the puzzled look he wore on his face.
"What about that thing you told me about?"
Chen’s voice failed to hide the desperation laced within it.
Seth, facing the window, did something that would have set off all the alarm bells in Chen’s mind.
Seth wore a devious smirk, curving the edge of his lips upward slightly to mimic the faint grin of a devil.
It was a flash. Something that occurred very suddenly and disappeared almost immediately.
The devilish smirk was gone.
"Oh, that Avatar thing?" Seth turned around and addressed Chen with a calm and somewhat nonchalant look.
"Yes," Chen affirmed.
"You talked about the Law of the Foreign, I told you, that Law is dangerous.
I’m not even sure the universe likes that law.
The Highest Will sure doesn’t..."
"I know, but there’s just something about it. Something that makes me feel like it is the right one," Chen pressed.
If he was thinking right about this, he should have known that feelings were the most unreliable things in this case.
It was better that he trusted his instincts.
Unfortunately for Chen, the moment he allowed Seth into his mind with Freedom Essence, he was doomed to never be the same again.
Freedom... was addictive, especially when it was tied to a certain label.
A certain label like the Law of The Foreign. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Finally, Seth slumped his shoulders, looking defeated.
"Fine, I’ll tell you about it later. Don’t say I didn’t warn you."
