Chapter 799: Chapter 799: Everyone Is Moving!

"Go go go go go!" Ozia shouted from the ground of the apex pyramid.

He stood at the edge of the continent, watching an armada of arkships fly into multiple heavenly gates.

At the corner of his vision, the lion system blinked its familiar golden screens.

[Mission: Bee Liberation.

Status: In progress.

Objective: Seize heavenly beacons and outposts from the bees by any means necessary.

Note: Stand by for further instructions.]

And so it had begun.

Unlike fifteen years ago, the lion’s new attack pattern was darn more aggressive and brutal. The lions themselves were going down to the mortalverse for this battle.

The intention was clear to everyone.

This was the first time they were not just fighting for a resource, but also attempting to seize the heaven belonging to another creature.

This was the day the All-King had chosen for this event.

No one knew exactly why but they all followed his mission. Besides, the rewards for completing the objectives were a lot.

Timing was going to be playing a great deal in their success as long as they did what they were supposed to do.

And that was just here in Leonine Heaven and the mortalverse.

Ozia, standing on the edge of the Apex Pyramid, could sense that something was deeply off.

Not in a bad way, but also not in a good way.

He turned his waist and looked back at the large Pyramid behind him. Before leaving, he had sensed a certain aura being exchanged between the consorts of the All-King.

They appeared solemn, like they were observing the most sacred day of the year.

Different people were doing different things, not just the consorts. There were some lions whom he had not seen since the day of the lion swarm appearing again in Leonine Heaven.

Lions that he thought would have died.

Actually, the last time he had seen these lions was before N’bayé had disappeared to complete her research.

These few lions were part of the group that was suitable to assist her with her experiments.

If a few of them were suddenly showing up at this moment, that meant that Kael had relaxed the rules.

They were free.

The monkeys.

They were all free.

Ozia wouldn’t know yet.

Just as everyone was moving crazily with their own personal missions to complete, he had his own mission, leading the war on the bees.

The Bees were unfortunately not responding as much as they used to. It appeared as if they were planning something.

This didn’t matter though.

The lions were not going to be attacking alone.

As this armada of arkships descended down to the mortalverse of the galaxy they would be starting their spear attack from, they would also be joined by fleets of arkships belonging to their vassals.

The lions wouldn’t just be fighting recklessly as they did during their war with the dragons, no, they didn’t have the power level for that.

They would be serving as on-site battle commanders, commanding their vassal fleets in real time for maximum efficiency and brutal supremacy.

And so, as soon as the first few batches of lion arkships arrived at the chosen galaxy, the stream of Conquering Essence hit the lion system like a silver bullet train.

The lion system which had previously been operating at a normal pace suddenly began to run with the new stream of Conquering Essence.

Conquering Activities was what powered the lion system, without it, Kael could only watch and wait for the right time.

And now was the time he needed it the most.

"What’s happening?" George screamed out as he swung from one rope to the other, shooting over the streets of the city in the form of an oscillating black blur.

All the monkeys were running and shouting, out of a mixture of fear and worry.

"We’re free!" Shouted one of the monkeys as she ran into her house in panic. The words that she spat out did not match her facial expression.

"Were we always captives? Why now?" Said another monkey, standing by the roadside with a confused look.

Swinging over them, George could only wear a frown as he was very confused.

It had just come without warning. The lion representatives that were used to observing them with a cold look and commanding with an iron will had suddenly started disappearing.

Those who stayed long enough for the monkeys to mask questions gave simple replies.

"You all are free to go, the experiment is over," They said.

What did they mean by " the experiment was over?

And why now?

The monkeys were in a state of learned helplessness. They understood that the lions were not exactly good leaders but they had been existing with that kind of leader for a long time.

They were not ready for this abrupt change.

George was logical though. Instead of being confused as to why there was no longer anyone giving the monkeys commands, he raced toward the tallest building where the sages should be.

He swung left and right, pulling his body forward with incredible strength and moving with incredible speed.

However, just as George was approaching the tall grey tower that stood at the center of the city.

*CRASH!*

A figure shot out of the side of the tower, broken glass and wall debris following behind him as the figure fell to the ground.

George looked up, his eyes shrinking to needle points when he saw the monkey falling from the building.

The muscles in George’s arms tightened and he shot up, attempting to catch the falling monkey before he hit the ground.

Unfortunately...

*BAM!*

Another cold humanoid figure shot down from the sky, having burst out of the tower before now.

Before George could do anything, the falling monkey was stomped into the ground by the other figure.

George saw clearly. The fallen monkey was a sage and the other figure was N’bayé.

In the newly formed crater, N’bayé stood above the body of the dead monkey sage, wearing a calm smile on her face.

She focused her blinking eyes on George who had just landed at the edge of the crater.

"Don’t mind me George, just eliminating the last sage that could oppose your rule," N’bayé said, pressing her foot and applying more pressure.

The sound of bones being broken reached George’s ears. He looked down to see that N’bayé’s right foot was pressed on the neck of the now dead monkey.

"What are you talking about?" George asked, maintaining his calmness for as long as he could.

"Haven’t you always been curious to know what lies beyond the walls of this world? Don’t you want to know just how unforgiving this universe could be?

Well, congratulations George," N’bayé spread her arms out, feeling a sense of fulfilment, "You’re free to go!"
