Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1359: The Feng Shui Balance Principle
Becky could tell he was trying to make a shape using these circular areas as the foundation for it. Whatever this shape was, it must be the foundation of the formation he mentioned.
The more she watched him, the more astonished she was! Her thoughts drifted back to the time she came here for the first time from the higher realm. She heard whispers about his forces using some sort of special formation, one that could entrap and weaken their masters, rendering them powerless against their enemies!
She never cared to dig deeper about such a formation. But after watching how he was easily laying out a formation that was only known as a rumour in the upper realm, she couldn’t help but think about the formation his masters used against Lingerie’s masters.
"I must learn that formation as well," she softly whispered, "it must be some sort of a forgotten formation, like the one he is using here... Still, how the heck did he learn something like that while living his life in this lower world? Is there something special about here?"
Her thoughts drifted all the wrong way to explain what William knew of such unknown knowledge at the upper realm. She walked down a wrong path, trying to find a possible and feasible explanation to William’s huge mystery!
She never thought that the world wasn’t the source of such forgotten knowledge, but William himself! After all, how could she explain what William learnt and connect it to getting reincarnated?!
After the fourth hour, Sara sent two hundred masters from the upper realm over. "She said William must need them for something big, so she decided to send extra just in case," the master Becky sent to Sara returned with such an explanation, and Becky didn’t mind getting more than what she initially hoped for!
"How are things going back there?" Becky was following William closely, to the extent she couldn’t spare any time to check on Sara or at any other place.
"She is doing well, the monsters she fought are either heavily wounded ones from our guild master’s supreme attacks, or ones who managed to pass through the attacks. Either way, they aren’t that much, not putting any pressure over her and everyone else back there."
"That’s good news," Becky knew all this was thanks to William. He was handling the unending swarms of monsters, while only a few managed to slip between his strong attacks.
"I can’t wait," she turned his attention again towards William. She was now familiar with the foundation he was laying for the formation. Even if she couldn’t replicate or learn how he was destroying the mountains, she was sure she could do the same using different methods.
"Even if I’m not even close to how effective and fast he is doing it, I can easily replicate this part," she said in confidence, while impatiently waiting to learn how to lay down the formation.
After five more hours, she finally could tell the general shape William was forming in the region. "It’s an octagonal star, with a triangle formed in the centre by three circular areas..."
William was indeed making this shape, and now he was finalising the last circular area, and the shape would be complete. He used the circular areas to form the star heads, while the central area had the triangle Becky noticed.
[Are you going to teach us now how to lay down the formation?] seeing him cleaving the last peaks in the last circle, she couldn’t hold back any longer.
[Do you know why it’s so difficult to make an offensive and defensive formation?] William didn’t explain anything, didn’t answer with a yes as she expected. Instead, he replied with another question.
[You...] realising how he responded pushed her over the edge. Yet she reclaimed control over her impatience and fury, [It’s now hard, it’s impossible!]
[Why then?] William knew she wasn’t way off the right mark by what she said. Yet he wanted her to fully understand the logic behind the formation, so she would fully get how to lay it down.
[To lay down a formation, one must use the suitable materials plus using a shape that matches the Feng Shui rules. The Feng Shui states that no opposing elements can be used together without creating synergy between them. And that synergy is the impossible dream many masters attempted to achieve and failed!]
[That’s true, you know a lot about the foundation theory] William complimented her.
[That’s why it’s impossible to use offence and defence at the same time in a single formation!]
[That’s not impossible, the Alabakans did it before!]
[I still can’t get how!] Becky honestly admitted, [I would say I lack the ability to do what they did, the same as the endless stream of legendary masters along the course of the upper realm history, perhaps even in the entire history of cultivation!]
[I can understand what you mean, yet I’m telling you, the Alabakans did it, and I know how!]
[Then tell me!] She felt frustrated again the more he kept toying with her. In fact, he was feeling amused by how she reacted, and if not for this dire situation, he wouldn’t have thought of satisfying her curiosity.
[The key lies in the balance the Feng Shui spoke about] William paused, before finally adding a clue, [Masters thought wrongly that the balance is by adding materials that complement each other, which in theory works but in reality, it won’t! The right answer is by processing two opposing materials together at the same time, mixing the opposite ones while using an intermediate material to work as a balancing agent, then we will acquire the balance the Feng Shui spoke about!]
[You mean... The processing you did before aimed for that?!!] she couldn’t believe he was thinking this far ahead back then. As she realised this, she started to recall what he was doing back there. She helped him once, and yet she didn’t fully follow what he was doing.
