Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1364: Doing Something Crazy!
William took out tons of swords, knives, war hammers, pikes, spears, glaives, shields, and even armour! He kept piling those up in big piles, not arranging anything at all.
Becky didn’t know why he was taking all this out. She noticed that all these weapons came from the upper realm, from the loot he gained from the previous war against Lingerie.
If he did that back at the city, where lots of his guild masters were, then this wouldn’t be that surprising to her. Yet he took all this out when there was no one else but him and her in the entire base!
Even when she considered the many masters left to guard this base, she still found this move puzzling. Their number was at most a couple hundred masters, and William took thousands upon thousands of these weapons!
"What do you plan to do with these things?" As she knew trying to ask him directly about his grand plan wouldn’t work, she instead focused on the most confusing thing he was doing.
"Are you familiar with the Retrace concept in forging?" as his habit when speaking with her, he didn’t give any direct answer. Instead, he welcomed her question by another.
"Never heard of it," she gritted her teeth, while crossing arms and standing like a statue in front of William. The latter didn’t show any reaction on his face, while continuing to take out more weapons.
"At some point in time, there was a big clan who faced great danger. They were famous for making great weapons, selling them and living off the profits. They also depended entirely over the relationships they built from such trades to keep themselves safe," William started to speak about an old history, one that Becky couldn’t grasp if it happened in this world or the upper realm.
"At some point, the ore mines they had dried up over one night. Some said it was the actions of their competitors, others said it was a demon’s work, a curse or something similar. Yet no one knew what really happened back that day."
"And?" Becky didn’t change the look over her face, "what does that have to do with what you are doing here?"
"The clan top masters gathered and convened a meeting," as if he never heard what she just said, William continued the story, "there was a lot at stake. They knew whoever did this would spread the news over and even would come and kill them. The clan decided to do two things as a drastic measure, and that’s what I’m going to do now."
"Oh, how so?" he managed to pick her curiosity like usual. She had no way to tell what he planned to do, as she dropped reading through his mind a long time ago.
Every time she thought she got what he was doing, he came to surprise her one time after another. So, she stood in silence, waiting for what he was going to say.
"One problem they had was the lack of ores. Whatever plan they wanted to do, they knew they couldn’t do it with the lack of high-quality ores. Trying to buy what they needed from others was out of option, as it would take a long time, cost them a ton of wealth, and perhaps many of the merchants they knew wouldn’t step up to help. As for the ores left behind in stores, they were mostly of low grade, one that they didn’t need."
"It seems you wanted to be a tale teller in your past life!" Becky was growing impatient even when the story was interesting to her.
"Then a master came up with a brilliant idea, Retrace. They lacked enough high-grade ores, but they have tons of high-grade weapons they made out of these ores. So, this master proposed they would melt these weapons, use a special technique he invented, and viola!"
"Viola what?!" Becky waited for a minute for William to explain what he meant by what he said, yet he didn’t. He just stood in front of the large piles of weapons, before starting to work over the ovens.
"I’ll show you, believe me you’ll be amazed when seeing this," his eyes shone in a bright light, while his face beamed with a mischievous look.
"You know what? I see it was fair what happened to your plans so far! You are the most despicable master I have ever met in any world!"
"Believe me, you’ll enjoy this," William followed his words with actions. He made sure the fire intensity was enough before he started to throw lots of things into the ovens.
Unlike the usual, he didn’t throw ores, but weapons! He simply changed into his monstrous form, started to grab weapons with his tails, and threw them in the ovens.
She was stupefied by what he was doing. She never saw someone doing something crazy like that ever in her life! She never heard about such blasphemy in the upper realm, not even in the wildest, most unbelievable myths of that realm!
"I hope you know what you are doing, all these are good weapons from the upper realm," she couldn’t prevent herself from saying this warning, while William totally ignored her.
As the weapons were left in the ovens, the high intensity fire started to slowly melt and break them down. As weapons weren’t just made by mixing ores in the upper realm, but by using different techniques in doing so, it wasn’t surprising to see lots of sparks and even muffled explosions to happen at these ovens!
Yet William let all this happen, without even breaking a sweat. As he left the weapons to die in such a disgraceful way in Becky’s eyes, he started to work on some sort of formation.
"This is... A spirit power concentration formation?!!" She recognised the formation he was making and couldn’t help but suck in a cold air of breath, "you can’t handle the high spirit power here, and you aim to increase its intensity and grade again?! Are you crazy?!!"
