Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1365: The Retrace Forging Technique!
"I am," William admitted as if it was something to brag about, "now if you may, I need you to watch in silence and keep questions later. I want to be totally focused on what I’m going to do."
"Bastard!" She blurted it out while William ignored her for the dizzilion time. In fact, he didn’t say this to tease her, he really wanted to focus on what he was doing.
His plan was simple; he had a great idea in his mind. Yet he needed to make these using ores from the upper realm. When he checked what he got, he knew he didn’t have what it took to make this idea real.
The only way he found to do it was by either replacing the upper realm ores with this world’s ores, or do this Retrace thing.
Replacing the ores with lower grade ones wasn’t an option for him. He knew in the upcoming great war, he needed something out of this world to overcome all the odds.
He hated to admit it, but his enemies put him in a very tight corner this time. The alliance between different kingdom masters, and the unexpected alliance between them and the dark master forces in their lands, was something that he couldn’t belittle no matter how much he despised it.
He never thought a proper master force, one that overlooked the lives of normal people like those kingdoms, would bring themselves to ally with criminals like the dark masters!
It seemed like the Novice kingdom was way better compared to those bastards. Regardless of his opinion though, he knew such alliances weren’t to be taken lightly. The sheer number of masters coming at him was way higher than what he had. Even if he gathered the Novice kingdom armies, even if he rallied the entire kingdom masters to his side, he would still come short of what his enemies had!
Not to mention the existing threat of the evolved monsters. He knew with more time given to those; they would pose a far threatening risk to him and others.
If another master was in William’s spot, he would instantly admit his defeat. There was no way a normal master would find a way to flip the tables over, even if he or she came from the higher realm!
Just looking at Becky was enough to know how this was true. She didn’t give a single suggestion to solve the situation and only kept asking questions and harassing William.
The Retrace method William thought of wasn’t that easy to pull. In fact, he never tried it in reality, only learnt about it from his master.
"Dire situations require dire steps," he took in a deep breath, while recalling what his master once told him about this technique, "time to see if I can pull it off."
"Pull what off?!" Becky heard what he said, she was using her spirit sense to the fullest, to not miss a single detail.
"Stop nagging me," William wasn’t bluffing when he asked her to not interrupt him. As he was going to use a technique he never actually did before, he needed to fully focus.
"..." she stood silently while watching him stand in front of one over. William looked at how the weapons broke apart, melted down, and got mixed into a big hot liquid. It got no distinctive colour. In fact, it was a mixture between different colours.
Even after half an hour, the mixture was still emitting sparks all the time. William kept his silent watch for a few minutes, took in a deep breath, before placing his hand over the oven.
"What is he doing?!!" Becky whispered when she saw William act. She thought he would perform some sort of a technique, yet he simply extended his monstrous arm over the oven, closed his eyes, and stood there for a few minutes.
When she thought he was playing with her, his body started to shine. Without the need to ask, she knew he was amassing his spirit power, a great amount of it, circulating it inside his body.
"He is charging up, as if he is going into a brutal fight, weird!" She raised an eyebrow when noticing what he was doing. Despite the urge to ask, she kept her lips tightly shut.
William was indeed charging up. Being in this special place added more speed to this simple technique. He was circulating his spirit power as fast as he could, traversing all channels in his body, while gaining speed with every cycle being completed.
This was a rough way to push one’s power higher for a brief amount of time, and William did indeed something like this at the moment. Even if he was trying to use the special spirit power around him to strengthen his spirit power, he knew it wasn’t enough.
"In the depths of the night, stars stick together," out of the blue, he opened his eyes, with a bright flash passing through them, while muttering the incantation of his technique, "in the bright hours of the day, all stars fade away and break apart!"
*Rumble!*
Things happened quite fast. Once he finished the incantation, his hand over the oven moved. Against what Becky envisioned, he simply placed his hand in the very hot liquid, giving her goosebumps when she spotted what he did.
"Did you lose your mind or what?!!" Watching what he did made her unconsciously mutter, yet she focused her spirit sense entirely over that oven. And there she saw something out of this world happening!
William’s arm was deep inside that melted liquid, and yet it felt like there was something standing between it and the liquid. She couldn’t see what it was exactly, but she could see what his arm was doing down there!
He was moving his arm in a slow, yet steady way, as if he was spooning the liquid using his arm. When she felt he wasn’t doing something big, a change happened that changed her mind entirely!
