Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1366: Who Are You?!!!
The liquid that was formed of different colours started to emit lots of dazzling sparks. At the same time, it felt like different lumps were formed. It felt like parts of the liquid with the same colour were gathered together, forming different sized lumps. And the liquid started to change into a semi-liquid state.
She saw what William was doing, and yet she couldn’t grasp how this happened. She didn’t need to ask to know he was segregating the liquid based on the ores that made it, a step that no one ever dreamt of, never achieved before.
*Thud!*
Just before she would fully go through what he was doing in her mind, one lump broke free from that oven, rose in the air, before finally falling into an empty oven nearby. The muffled thudding sound that came from it hitting the bottom of the empty oven was like thunder in her ears.
It wasn’t because William managed to break part of the liquid and separate it, but thanks to what happened to that lump at that oven. When the lump hit the oven, it broke into a solid state, forming lots of different sized rocks, with special lustre and appearance that she instantly recognised.
"A Pre-Mithril?!!! How?!!!" Becky stood in her place with the most shocked expression ever on her face. She instantly recognised the mythical form of rocks in that oven, the one that was rumoured to be the long-awaited dream of big and formidable forging masters across all ages in the upper realm!
She heard tons of stories about it, even saw lots of drawings and art speaking about this legendary form of ores. Yet she never heard it was actually real!
Her shock was totally understandable for William, who showed a satisfying look on his face when he realised what Becky grasped.
"I did it," he softly chuckled, while beads of sweat appeared all over his body, "no time to rest, can’t stop now... I need to finish working over this before taking a little break..."
He summed up his strength, pushed himself over the limit while more lumps flew from the oven, heading to the other one. Lots of rocks started to appear over the oven, while the liquid he was working on started to grow smaller.
"That’s enough," at some point, he couldn’t continue what he was doing. He felt his legs grow numb, his breaths became uneven and had to halt what he was doing.
"Get... Me... There..." he was in a messy state that his body was this close from falling to the ground before Becky intervened. She held his body while he weakly pointed towards a direction, with a shaky arm and trembling voice.
She didn’t hesitate to dash and take him towards the formation he made earlier. This thought never crossed her mind, that he built this formation for him to recover fast and bring him back from the brink of death doorsteps!
"You are a crazy bastard, you know that?!" the moment she noticed him improving, and she couldn’t help but shake her head, "how come a master like yourself push himself to this extent? You depleted almost all of your spirit power! You could have died!"
"I have you to help, so I went a little overboard," William’s voice was way better than before, "as for why I did it, you can check the melted liquid remaining in the oven to know why."
"..." She didn’t say anything at first, not until she checked the oven he was working on with spirit sense. "This... The liquid... It isn’t there!!" She had to triple check, even trying to see if she missed the right oven and checking other ovens.
There was nothing in the oven William was working over, not even a single ounce of the melted liquid.
"How... What happened?!" She knew something must have happened in the few minutes she took to save his life. She was overly anxious over him to not spread her spirit sense as she used to. So, she missed what happened and had no other way but to ask William about it.
"You’ll have more chances in the future to see what happened," even if he was in this weakened state, he never lost the edge.
"You..." she resisted the urge to punch him in the face, "fine! Next time I’ll stay behind and not save your life! Humph!"
She harrumphed, even stood up and left in angry steps away from him. Yet she stopped at the oven, properly inspecting it for any clue about what happened.
"It’s super hot, but it’s super clean... It’s like he did nothing here at all," she still couldn’t believe her eyes, and even extended her arm inside, and kept touching the oven to find any specks or leftovers but found nothing.
William kept watching her without saying a thing. He focused on recovering fast. Thanks to the special spirit power here and the formation he laid before he started working, he managed to return to top form in ten minutes!
It was a super recovering speed, especially to a master like him. "Time for round two... I shall decrease the number of weapons used this time..."
The first thing he did wasn’t to start working at once, but he went to check the ores he made. Becky was still there, taking her time to properly examine the Pre-Mithril ores inside that oven.
"You know I heard lots of stories and fairy tales about this ore... It’s said it has magical properties, it can substitute any ore in the world, and lots more of such legendary effects. And yet... I feel like these stories never did justice to this ore..."
She sized him up and down, as if she was seeing him for the first time, "you know tons of stuff about the upper realm, know lots of hidden and forgotten knowledge from there, and now you are pulling such a unheard of feat in blacksmithing... Who are you?!!!"
"I’m William," he shrugged, as if what she said meant nothing or she was speaking about someone else, "now can you retreat? I need to work over lots of weapons..."
