Chapter 1368: A Daylight Theft!

Becky would never have guessed that William wasn’t just trying to execute this concept, he already did it many times before. Yet this was the first time for him to make these using such precious and high quality materials, being surrounded with a far higher grade of spirit power than what he worked before.

That was the main reason behind him picking this place to work. William knew by using the special spirit power here, he would end up making something that might come closer to the real terrifying might of the mechanical monsters known in the upper realm!

"Can you bring those ovens over for me?" Seeing her standing idle without doing anything, he motioned to the ovens outside the formation area.

"Bring them here?" She gave him a weird look. If he wanted to use them, then he would simply go out there and work like how he did in the past hours.

A realisation hit her when she thought what he asked was quite weird. She looked at the thicker form of spirit power inside the formation before nodding in understanding, "you want to use the higher and concentrated spirit power to better melt the Pre-Mithril! Got it!"

"Well, not what I wanted to do, but you are close," William softly muttered while she went to do what he wanted. She heard him, yet didn’t say anything in return.

She thought he was teasing her, not until she brought the ovens over and then he asked her to do something else.

"Take all the ores you have," he started to take ores he acquired from the upper realm masters, "put them over here, and let me see if there is something useful there."

"You..." she moved her eyes over the ores he kept taking out, before turning to point at the Pre-Mithril rocks, "then why did you make these for? Aren’t you supposed to melt these to build that thing?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"The Pre-Mithril can’t be melted," William gave her a weird look, "it’s a known fact, how come you don’t know about this?!"

She was taken by surprise for a moment, before she shouted back, "since when Pre-Mithril ores were a fact in the world? Till I saw you make them, they were just a myth of a tale!"

"I’m just saying," William shrugged, as if he didn’t care about how she felt right now. He returned to check the ores he took out, before laying down a questionable gaze over her.

"Fine," she knew he waited for her to act, and eventually she complied, "but I’ll need a few rocks of those in return!"

"That depends," William didn’t reject her request, instead he leant over what she took and started to examine the ores in a serious manner.

"Depends on what?!"

"If you have suitable ores for me," he simply said as if it was simple to guess, "and if you have enough of those!"

"..."

His words were clear, if she had what he needed, and she managed to provide enough ores for his work, then she would get more Pre-Mithril than she imagined!

Just realising this made her start to empty all the ores she had in her rings! She just took out very few of what she had. And now she started to even take out any looted rings from any battle she had in her life, and took out tons of ores.

"That’s what I’m talking about," William stood in his place for a while speechless. The amount of ores she took was enough to arm up an entire forging group in the upper realm for months! And yet he didn’t feel bad about that!

The more ores he got, the better options he had! As she kept emptying her entire wealth of ores, he started to check these and arrange them according to his needs.

Soon enough, many piles appeared. She didn’t get what each pile meant, but she kept her part of the bargain for a while, before standing in silence and watching him.

William took a couple of hours to go through everything she and he took out. In the end, many piles appeared, before he started to act.

"You..." She went speechless when he started to take away lots of piles! She thought he needed all the ore he could get, but it seemed like he was picky about what he needed, "why don’t you return them over to me then?!"

"If you want no Pre-Mithril rocks, then fine!" William winked with an evil expression over his face. And what he said silenced her, making her stand silent while he kept taking away the ores she took out!

She felt like she was getting robbed in the daylight! And the worst of it was that she couldn’t stop this theft! She consoled herself by looking at the Pre-Mithril rocks around, reminding herself that she would end up having something legendary even in the upper realm.

William finished taking away the ores he didn’t need, then he started to work over the piles he left behind. Even if he took away much of the ores, there were still too many piles left behind. And he started by breaking down these piles into much smaller and much more piles.

Becky noticed that he was grouping the ores with similar spirit elements. The fire ores were grouped together, the water ores were piled with each other, and so on. At some point, she wanted to help, to be stopped by a single hand motion from William.

"I get it," he didn’t want for her to make a mistake that would cost him dearly later on. He trusted himself in what he was doing, and didn’t need any help so far.

He took four more hours to finish all this. He took his time to make sure he piled the right ores together. Then he turned to the ovens.

He let the fire rage wildly under the ovens for all these hours. The result was for hot ovens and very high temperatures.
