Chapter 1370: Halfway Through Making Monsters

Even after making more pieces that she helped cleanse like before, Becky still couldn’t tell what the shape of the monster he was trying to build was!

She thought William would start assembling a monster after making enough pieces. Yet he kept working non-stop over producing more pieces, as if the monster he was going to make was a massive one!

At some point, William would make some form of an array around a single piece. She couldn’t tell what was special about the pieces he used for this, except that all of them were big balls. He used the time to wait for new ores to melt to make these arrays, then left the balls inside and returned to make more pieces.

Time passed fast, and without feeling it, three more days passed. William was focusing totally on working here, without caring about anything happening in the outer world.

He was sure things would look terrible for his side, and he didn’t care about any setbacks his forces would suffer. He was experienced enough to know winning these wars wouldn’t come from winning a few battles, and loss wasn’t decided by some setbacks.

Big wars like these would be won by the side using deadly weapons, using special methods, and he was working as hard as he could to make this happen.

"He is doing something new... Is it Blood Runes technique? Damn! How many secrets does he know?!!" In front of Becky, William took out a large bowl, wounded his arm, and started to fill the bowl with his blood!

She knew he wouldn’t suffer much by gathering his blood in this way. The bowel might be big, but he was doing this in his monstrous form. That meant he could easily fill many of such bowels, and he just needed one bowel to initiate the blood runes technique.

As she guessed, William filled the bowl with his blood and then took out a brush and started to write special runes with his blood. Blood runes techniques were considered one of the mightiest techniques in building large weapons, the one that was rumoured to be used by many masters and cause considerable damage!

This knowledge was long lost in the upper realm, and yet William was simply pulling such a feat without any trouble. She focused on what he was writing, trying to remember the runes and the weird words he was writing over the cores.

William used his blood and wrote many special words, in small size, covering up the ball-shaped big pieces he had made earlier. Becky had her doubts towards those pieces, as they were larger than most of what William built, and they contained many rocks and pieces.

When she spotted what William was doing, she became surer of her earlier doubts. "These pieces... They must be the core of what he is building..." She guessed it right, as these ball-shaped pieces were the heart of the monsters William was building. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

As he finished writing the runes, William left these special pieces inside smaller spirit power concentration formations he had already built before doing this.

"There is more blood left, it’d be a waste to leave it like this..." he turned his eyes towards the large number of pieces he had made, then started to write a single rune over each piece.

When he finished, there was still a scar left in his blood. Yet he didn’t intend to use it anymore. Watching him throw his blood and take the bowel back, Becky knew he had finished his preparations.

She still couldn’t imagine what he was building. If he gathered all the pieces he made, then a colossal monster would be built. Such a huge behemoth might be strong, but it would suck dry the spirit power of any master controlling it. Not to mention, it’d still be a single monster, and they had lots of battlefields to fight at the same time!

She thought like William, knowing that during the past few days, the situation must have grown worse for their forces. Yet as William thought earlier, she knew no matter how bad the situation looked, they could easily turn the tables around using what William was building here.

She thought William would start assembling the monster pieces. Yet he didn’t. Instead, he left the core pieces to suck dense and copious amounts of high-grade spirit power, while continuing to work on making more pieces.

There wasn’t much left of the Pre-Mithril after all these days. So it wasn’t surprising for William to use all the rocks after a single day, finally finishing making the pieces he needed.

"Time to make the outer look and weapons they will use," William softly muttered, yet his words ran like thunder in Becky’s mind.

"Is he planning to make more pieces or what?!!" She mistook his intentions, thinking that he would start making more Pre-Mithril. Yet when he started working again, he started forging in a normal way.

He took out lots of ores he acquired from her and his loot, started to melt and then asked her to come and cleanse the liquid. This time, they took out a lot more of the ovens, ending up having at least fifty with different ores to melt.

"What do you plan to do?!" She couldn’t resist herself anymore, and he was in a very good mood and decided to explain things while working on the moulds he had taken out.

"I made the pieces that’ll act like the skeleton," William kept working on the moulds, reshaping the flexible moulds to take different shapes. "I know you guessed what I’m trying to make already, the monsters I’m building are formed of three different parts: skeleton, outer parts, and weapons."

"I already guessed that," she admitted, "the skeleton will be made of the pieces you crafted, then what are you building now? I know you have the weapons from the upper realm, and you’ll let your monsters hold them..."

"Not hold them," William shook his head, interrupting what she was saying, as she got the plan entirely wrong, "if I’m going to just give my monsters weapons to use as any normal master will, then there was no point in going to such lengths to make them, right?"
