Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1385: Becky’s Ex!

"You really hold your grudges quite well," Becky looked at the massacre that started with his simple words and couldn’t help but mutter in a deep tone.

"Luckily for you, you became my ally and friend," William smirked, while reminding Becky of how the two started knowing each other.

"A stroke of luck indeed," she honestly admitted, "shall we wait or join the fight?"

"Neither," William turned around, walking down a different path, "this is just an entry to the basin zone. I’m sure many of these fights are going on in different locations. Let’s go and pay our respect to every single one of them."

"Ok, but..." Becky looked hesitant, her eyes attached to the twenty monsters killing all the masters in the region.

"Don’t worry about them," William didn’t even spare the monsters a glance, "they know how to find me after killing everyone."

He already left his orders in the cores of these monsters. They might look like scary monsters, but he was like a god to them. They would easily find him no matter how huge the distance was, thanks to their ability to sniff and follow his spirit power.

Becky wasn’t aware of that, but she knew if William said it, then there was nothing to worry about. The two walked away from the raging slaughter, while William spread out five monsters per usual. He knew he was walking deep into enemy territory, and more traps would be found along the way.

As expected, the two met lots of formations that were meant to kill a large number of masters. Few released toxins, many changed the terrain into something deadly, while all shared one simple fact: they were all formations from the upper realm!

"I’m sure we will meet someone I know from the upper realm." After half a day, William’s twenty monsters finally joined the duo. Becky was waiting on the edge of an explosive field filled with grenades that were assigned into a special formation.

The grenades were buried in a stellar formation that would augment the fire element and at least increase the deadliness of any grenade by tenfold. And yet, against all this, William’s monsters walked through the field as if there was nothing happening at all!

"What makes you say that?" William was startled by what she just said. He thought she was joking until she pointed towards the explosive field and said:

"If you dig at the centre of this field, you’ll find a doll made out of rubber material."

"Interesting," William turned to the spot she pointed at, before sending three of his monsters to do the job, "you know this type of formation doesn’t need a doll to work, right?"

"I know, just seeing this explosive field reminded me of an old friend I used to... Well, he was close to me then suddenly turned his back to me, to everyone actually..."

"Oopse, he joined the dark master’s side!" William did it in an exaggerated way, making Becky’s face redden out of rage, "oh god! You pushed the man to even forsake his life and join the dark side!"

"Stop it!" she puffed her cheeks and even waved a fist in a warning towards his face, "he is a maniac! He wanted to rule over an old family only because he had a feud with their prodigy son or something!"

"Yes, typical type of story for lovers," William didn’t stop teasing her, "can’t you see? The other dude wasn’t having a feud with him over his talent, but over your beauty. You drove him mad..."

"I said stop it!" She even chased after him, threatening that if he didn’t stop, she would punch him in the face.

"Ok ok, they found the doll," William suddenly stopped, pointing towards the direction his monsters were digging at, "it’s official, your Ex is here, and he wants a rematch... Wow! Don’t tell me he thought we had a thing and came after me..."

"I swear I’ll kill you!" Becky roared like a beast, ran after William, who was having little fun with her.

"Ok ok, let’s stop fooling around," after half an hour of running and chasing him, William finally stopped his annoying attitude with her, "I believe I need to know more about that Ex of yours."

"Why? To make more fun of me?" Becky’s eyes glared while William simply pointed towards a direction:

"In addition to that, there is a really huge battle happening over there. We need to first crash the party, and then look for your Ex, and who knows? Perhaps he will confess his..."

"I’ll kill you!" Becky roared again, chased after William, who gave the order to his monsters to start killing the fighting masters up front.

Becky didn’t calm down except when William promised he wouldn’t make fun of her.

"I want you to make me one of those," she walked by his side, without sparing him a glance, "and we will be even."

"Well..." William paused, as he didn’t know how to tell her she would end up learning how to make these on her own before embarking on that mission.

"I knew it! You are a stingy bastard! Fine!" Without him saying anything, she turned and faced him, raising both hands in his face, "I want ten Pre-Mithril rocks after this silly one-sided war ends!"

"Ok," William was speechless. If she was a little more patient, she would have gained even more than what she dreamt of!

"You know, your worst trait is your impatience." After settling this, William couldn’t help but give her honest advice, "You miss lots of opportunities thanks to this attitude!"

"Just don’t act like this," Becky mistook his intentions, "I know you can easily make tons of these rocks. If the issue is the weapons, then I’ll provide you ten times the amount needed to make these rocks for me!"

"..." At this point, William knew it was hopeless to try and give her any piece of advice. In the end, he gladly accepted more upper realm loot without even hesitating about it!
