Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer-Chapter 176: Progress
[Seven Days Later.]
Philip scanned the dusty entrance of the cave, a week of anxious waiting etched on his face.
"Commander Philip, you’ve been checking on him for seven days straight... What if he’s dead?" A soldier, concern lacing his voice, couldn’t help but ask.
"Just make sure she doesn’t hear you," Philip cautioned, glancing over his shoulder at Leyla. She sat with her eyes closed in one of the sleek black Audis, a picture of still worry.
"The Valhalla family sent her and their special guards over... It’s just a bad thing no one can enter the cave," he muttered, more to himself than the soldier.
"Oh!" The soldier nodded, absorbing the information.
"Commander Zenith sent word that a monster tide is heading towards Cordelia... The monsters are following behind the sky stage beast, which will arrive in two days... And she also said the master tamers and supreme tamers are already on the frontline, that you are also needed."
Philip chuckled, a wry twist to his lips. "They are just supreme level, with the strongest having a Divine stage beast with the Combat strength of Lv10... But Christopher has three sky stage beasts, with combat strength above Lv10... I have to wait for him." He sighed, the weight of the situation clear in his voice.
"I hate to say it, but Cordelia’s chance of defeating such a beast will require Christopher’s help."
"But we have the master tamers and supreme tamers... Even students from the three top Academies and the legendary Sir Sunny... We can’t lose," the soldier argued, a flicker of hope in his tone.
"We know the strength of the sky stage beast, but what about the monster tide? We don’t know how many there are... Or how strong... We are just fighting blind, but with Him... Even without knowing the enemy, we will still win." Philip’s conviction was unwavering.
The soldier listened, then turned his gaze to the cave entrance. "Okay, Vice commander." That was all he said.
WHOOSH!!
Philip’s eyebrow shot up as a dense surge of life force erupted from the cave entrance, shooting skyward. Leyla’s eyes slowly fluttered open, fixated on the entrance. A figure calmly emerged, hands tucked into his pockets.

[Five Minutes Ago.]
BOOOM!
Tiamat watched as the blue flame finally shattered into light particles, swiftly flying towards Christopher and merging with him.
’Phew... I thought he wouldn’t be able to achieve that,’ Tiamat muttered, a small smile gracing her phantom form as she floated towards Christopher.
"Finally!" Christopher slowly opened his eyes, feeling the immense life force coursing through him.
"Congratulations, Disciple, for entering the low-stage of the Ascendant level," she said, her smile widening. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Christopher slowly stood from the ground, his gaze shifting from the empty throne to himself, still surprised by what he had just learned. "Who would believe there’s such a king?" he mused.
CLICK!!
The two turned as the wall crumbled to the ground, revealing the cave’s entrance. "How long have I been in here?" he asked, turning to Tiamat.
"Seven days... And the sky stage monster will attack in two days, while the monster raid is in three days," she explained, her voice calm.
"Really? So we have only today and tomorrow to rest... I just hope Advika, Katherine, and Adonis listened to my instructions... That’s the only way they’ll get stronger faster," he said, walking out from the chamber, heading towards the entrance.
"I, as your teacher, should be the one teaching you... But you instead taught others a method I myself don’t know... I am impressed," Tiamat nodded, a proud smile on her face. "You make me proud, my good disciple," she added.
Christopher raised an eyebrow at her, then exhaled.
"It’s not hard. I discovered that method in a ruin... And that’s why my beasts are so powerful... Each one of them has more than two Bloodlines." He tucked his hands into his pockets and continued:
"I miss my mom, maybe because I’m hungry." He muttered to himself, walking out from the cave.
"....?!"
Christopher stared at the soldiers before him, blinking in confusion. "Were you all waiting for me?" he asked.
Philip exhaled softly. ’He is alive... That’s good,’ he thought in relief, then said, "I am here to inform you of the battle---"
"---Is that all? Yeah, I know."
Christopher cut him off. "Sky stage beast in two days, monster tide in three days, and if I’m correct, the celestial stage beast will reach in less than two months... Yep, I remember," he said casually.
Philip moved his gaze to Christopher, his mouth slightly agape.
"It seems you got stronger, I can’t even detect your life force." He smiled. "Okay, Christopher... We will see in two days time." He finally turned around and walked away, the soldiers following behind him.
’With him alive, the commander can finally stop troubling me,’ he thought, walking away.
Christopher stared at Philip for a few seconds, then turned his head to Leyla and the ten bodyguards in black, all Master level tamers and Awakeners.
"Why are you here?" he asked in mild confusion.
"You dare ask that?!!" Leyla hissed at him. "We have been worried sick! And you dare ask why we are here?!"
Christopher let out a chuckle. "I thought I sent a message that I’m just practicing... You shouldn’t have."
Leyla rolled her eyes at his words, folding her arms.
"You know mother... Besides, you should be apologizing or thanking us for guarding this place." She said, while the men looked around the empty landscape, seeing nothing but sand and rocks.
"Guarding from what?" Christopher asked with a confused expression, looking around.
"You!!"
"Okay. Okay... Thank you, Leyla, now, can you get me something to eat, I’m starving!" he said.
"Because you thanked me, I will... Come on, there are snacks in the car, and you’ll need details of what happened during this week." She said, then turned around and walked towards the car, Sunny following behind her. Tiamat turned into a trail of light and entered Christopher’s consciousness.

[In the car - On The Way to Valhalla Family’s Estate.]
"So tell me..." Christopher said, picking up a bag of chips and starting to eat.
"Well... Katherine and Adonis already broke through and entered the Legendary stage..."
"...?!"
Christopher froze in shock, a chip halfway to his mouth.
"Shocking right?" Leyla smiled. "I am now a master rank... Thanks to the master for giving me her powers," she added.
"Oh... Mom already transferred her powers to you?" Christopher asked, continuing with his chips.
"Yep... She said you also have this type of power, so I should listen to you..." Leyla chuckled at the irony of the situation.
"You, who don’t know anything about tamers and Beasts... You’re the one I’m going to listen to."
Christopher raised an eyebrow. "Hey... I know more than you think."
"I know that. Your idea helped not only Adonis and Katherine, it also helped Advika and Chloe," she said, adding.
"That girl, Advika... Her speed of cultivating is beyond ridiculous... She is at the peak of the master level! Only a step to enter the Supreme Level!!"
PIFFF!!
Christopher spat out the water he had just drunk in the car and turned to Leyla, his eyes wide with shock.
"What the hell?! I can’t even level up that fast!" he exclaimed.
"Yes... I think it’s because Mother gave her the family cultivation ground... For the past seven days, she only stepped out this morning, and her level shocked everyone," Leyla said.
’Hey! Tiamat... Is this possible?!’ he asked telepathically.
’Why are you asking such a stupid question? Look at you... What level are you on?... Do you think you got there because of your luck...?’ She sighed inside his consciousness.
’All Spirits gave their chosen a 200% boost in cultivation, meaning they get stronger faster than any ordinary tamer or Awakener,’ Tiamat explained.
Christopher slowly nodded his head.
’With my increase in level, all my beasts will have an increase in stage, meaning my weakest beast is now a Legendary stage... How strong is Advika’s Beast?’ he thought, then asked Leyla, "What level are you on?"
"I am at the peak of the master level," Leyla said.
Now Christopher was dumbfounded. ’Also a peak... What the hell? I know my method will increase their strength, but I didn’t know it would be powerful with the 200% boost,’ he thought.
"Yes! Our family is now the top one in Cordelia... Father surprisingly gained ten powerful companies, which boosted our annual income to trillions... Now, we are the main rulers, while the Borodino family is now holding second place, then Felons, and lastly Vanir family."
"That is lovely," he said, placing the remaining chips on the seat. "It seems a lot has happened while I was away..." He looked outside the window at the setting sun. "Take us to Advika’s home, tell Mom we will be home for dinner." he said.
"Advika’s home? Why?" Leyla asked with a frown.
"I need to confirm something, and also see her progress..." He turned to face her. "Don’t forget she is my disciple."
Leyla sighed, pulled out her phone, and made a call.
’You want to know the progress with that stubborn goddess?’ Tiamat asked telepathically.
’Yes... Advika can’t get so powerful with the goddess in full strength... She must have done something,’ he answered back and then asked:
’Another question, Why are Advika and I the only ones that can see and communicate with their spirits?’
