School Hunk or Childhood Sweetheart?-Chapter 426 - 427 Bed-Wetting Memoirs
Sheng Ting lowered his head, looking at her somewhat surprisingly, "Have you decided?"
Shen Weiyi nodded, "I’ve decided!" She had originally planned to have only one child, considering she still vividly remembered the pain of childbirth, and it was not easy to slim down afterward.
"Great!" Sheng Ting said.
Although he didn’t know what had made her change her mind.
However, he too wanted a daughter.
The next second, Shen Weiyi felt herself being lifted as Sheng Ting picked her up and carried her back to the room.
The light cast shadows, the red curtains swirled.
A year later, the Shen Family’s little princess was born amid everyone’s anticipation. The Sheng Family nearly wanted to hold her in their palms and spoil her, a true little princess in every sense.
The little princess’s formal name was Sheng Baoning, affectionately called Bao’er.
Shen Juanzhi finally won back Meng Shangchu, and the two also had a son that same year, Shen Jingci, making the nephew and uncle only three months apart.
Sheng Ye not only gained a little sister but also a little uncle.
Time flew swiftly, non-stop.
The little ones visibly grew taller and bigger.
Since the addition of a little sister, the family’s attention toward little Sheng Ye decreased significantly.
However, perhaps because he had received plenty of love normally, even if he shared half with his sister, he didn’t mind.
Instead, he liked to stay around his sister every day, his little mouth constantly mentioning "sister" this and "sister" that, and he even liked to sneakily feed her what he thought was tasty, making the adults dare not take their eyes off them, nor could they leave them alone together, fearing he might feed her something unnoticed.
Fortunately, little Sheng Ye was quite obedient. After being reminded a few times by the adults, he realized his sister was still young, and there were many things she couldn’t eat.
Nevertheless, after that, besides playing with his sister, he liked to chase after the adults and ask when precisely his sister would grow up.
The quiet, well-behaved little one in her belly was now showing increasing signs of chattiness.
Since having children, Shen Weiyi was accustomed to waking up in the middle of the night to check on her children. Even though she knew a nanny was watching, she still couldn’t help worrying.
Especially after having the second child, she found herself waking up more often at night.
In the middle of the night, Shen Weiyi first went to check on her daughter.
What comforted her was that although she had two children, they were both very well-behaved, simply eating, playing, getting tired, sleeping, waking up to eat again... hardly causing any trouble.
After checking on her daughter, she habitually went to check on her son.
But upon opening the door, she saw the little guy sitting up in bed, apparently just awakened, looking rather dazed.
"What’s wrong?" Not wanting to scare him, Shen Weiyi gently asked.
Even so, the little one was startled and rolled back under the covers, his hands pressing down on the blankets to cover himself tightly, leaving only his shiny big eyes peeping out.
"I’m, I’m hot and can’t sleep." The little one was already three and quite articulate.
"Hot?" Shen Weiyi glanced at the air conditioner on the wall, "Isn’t the air conditioner on?" And why cover up so tightly if he was hot?
However, Shen Weiyi thought the child must be confused from sleep.
"It might be broken," little Sheng Ye earnestly blabbered while blinking his big eyes.
Shen Weiyi, thinking the child felt hot due to his body heat, didn’t take it seriously, and helped him lower the air conditioner by one degree, reminding him to sleep early.
"Got it, mom!" The little one laid still under the blankets, looking obedient.
Shen Weiyi kissed his forehead, closed the door for him, and went back to her room.
Once Shen Weiyi left, the little guy immediately climbed up and lifted the blankets.
Underneath, the area where he had been sleeping was noticeably damp.
